Second group of 7 Summits Club under the leadership of Sergey Kofanov on top of Mount Vinson!!!

On December 12, five more members of 7 Summits Club stood on top of Mount Vinson in Antarctica: Segey Lavrov, Yaroslav Sabyrbaev, Konstantin Morozov, Vladimir Aristarkhov and the guide - Sergey Kofanov (he has just finished climbing 7 Summits by standing on top of Mount Vinson).

It took the group 7 hours to get to the top from high camp. The weather got worse as they were ascending, so they didn`t spend much time on the top. Then they descended all the way to Vinson base camp where they joined Alex Abramov who had to stop his speed ascend (second try this season) and help Alexander Orlov to go down. In several hours the whole group took a flight to Patriot Hills.

Now they are all in Punta Arenas. And Sergey Kofanov stayed in Pantriot Hills waiting for Ludmila Korobeshko who will bring the third group of 7 Summits Club to Antarctica.
