Expedition to Ama-Dablam has started.

27 March, 7 Summits Club expedition started off. The team leaded by Viktor Bobok 7 Summits Club guide) has taken off to Nepal. The main goal of this expedition is one of the most spectacular mountains in the world and a true alpinist’s dream - Ama Dablam (6858 meters).

Ama Dablam is one of the most impressive mountains in the world. Situated in the heart of Everest`s Khumbu region, it lies directly above Thyangboche Monastery on the well-worn path to Everest Base Camp and is admired by thousands of trekkers and climbers every year.

The team is going to visit to Everest Base Camp during acclimatization and meet members of 7 Summits expedition to Everest. After that they are going on acclimatization cycle to climb on Island Peak (6130 meters).

Ama Dablam is a technical climb at a great height, which demands good physical and technical condition. To increase their chances of success, members of the team worked hard to prepare to this climb. As one of the preparation phase they had a lot of technical trainings in Crimea Mountain, climbed several difficult routes.
