Behind us - three days in ÀÂÑ, at 6400ì, spending one night at this altitude. Yesterday the second team under leadership of Alex Abramov and Ludmila Korobeshko has gone down to the base camp. Not without troubles. American pastor Vince (Bousselaire) has felt not well. Already from 6400 m he began descend using oxygen. He went down downwards 12 hours with support of Alexander Abramov, Ludmila Korobeshko and Sergey Kofanov. When we came it was dark, (half past eleven), but all people were waiting for us. We have put Vince in the tent of Andrey Selivanov, the doctor of our expedition. There were rather bad expectations. Thank God, in the morning he was filling better. He slept also with oxygen and today in the morning we have sent him in Katmandu. Unfortunately he was forced to leave our expedition. And also today we have learned, that in Katmandu the King has declared the beginning of democracy.

Today practically all guides, Alexander Abramov, Ludmila Korobeshko, Nikolay Cherny, Sergey Kofanov, doctor Andrey Selivanov, base camp manager Maxim Onipchenko, and also Lorenzo Gariano and Norwegian Frode Høgset have gone down in Tashi Dzong. Here it is nice place, though snow has dropped out. Here, at 4200 meters, we have found how nice to have a lot of oxygen. We want just have a rest, even only one night. Tomorrow we go back. And the day after tomorrow we start for the Middle camp, then in ÀÂÑ (Advanced Base Camp) again. And then we will climb the Northern Saddle.

Now the most part of team is in base camp, we in Tashi Dzong. As usually, here we have bought some rams. Fresh meat is necessary for a team.
