Hello, Abramov Alex - the captain of the Adventure Team Alpindustria and the head of the 7 Summit-Club joint with 7Summits.com expedition. Our third group has arrived, at last: Vyacheslav Pashkov and Boris Sedusov are Russian members, Heber Orona and Pablo Kommer are Argentineans, and Dutch Harry Kikstra, else called Harry Krishna, and I, Alexander (Alex) Abramov.
29.12 on 31.12 we stayed on the Patriot Hills, due the bad weather. And later we had a New Year`s gift: 1th of January, about 12 a.m. we were transported to the base camp Vinson. The weather is quite good, the sun shines: everyone are pleased, because it is good and beautiful - they do not know, what snowstorm and a bad weather can be here. Simply for newcomer people, always the weather is good. Then all starts to repeat to within one hour.
Today January, 2, 2006, we have left base camp about 3 p.m.. As usual, the weather has changed to bad. The sky is tightened by clouds, it became cold, strong wind blows. We have reached the first camp at 9 evenings, it is at height of 3100 m. Now it is 3 o`clock in the morning. The sun shines, is very warm in tent.
Everyone feels not bad. Antarctica is a best place for sleeping. There is no sense to wake up earlier 12 and to go to bed before two.
