11го January the team of Club of 7 Summits has returned in Punta Arenas from Antarctica. Having caught 10 hour window in awfully bad Antarctic weather. The Russian crew of the plane of IL - 76 has transported us to the Earth. What surprising sensation - to see a grass and trees... Not clear, for what they are ...

Very strange sensation practically forgotten for more than month: to go to bed in darkness, without socks and cap!!!
The second sensation - water. In any amounts!!!
At night there was even a rain!!!

It was not possible to us change tickets. We should wait until January, 20 ...

As is known, the majority of heroic acts is made unexpectedly. At us a similar situation: suddenly Abramov and Sedusov were going to make an ascent on the highest volcano of the world and the second on height mountain of South America – Ojos del Salado (6884м). This peak is situated in the north of Chile, and we have visa in this country.

January, 13.
Yesterday we have sat in Santiago in a comfortable bus. With armchairs able to be placed horizontal (as in 1 class of plane).
Through a night, 12 hours of driving and we in Atacama desert, in the city of Copiapo. Surprisingly, beautiful city on the middle of desert.
We have met German climbers direct at the auto station . They have informed us that it was necessary to buy a climbing permit in Santiago. We had to go in a mayoralty of city and there we have received the permit by fax from Santiago.

We have bought all necessary, then rent a jeep and we go 260 kms aside to the borders of Argentina. All consultations are received.
I have a dream - in birthday (January, 16) to be at the top Ojos del Salado. By the way, Chilians assert, that altimeters shows at top Ojos del Salado more, than at top of Aconcagua. We shall check up...
