Today it happened. After fortnight term of stay in Punta Arenas, at last, early in the morning Mark has informed, that today we take off. On the eve we have got acquainted a half of crew of the plane of IL-76. It is the mixed collective consisting from Russian and Ukrainian. And after that our flight in the plane to Antarctica was very pleasant because we flied with friends - pilots. We have spent a significant part of time in a cabin of the plane, basically in philosophical conversations.
At last, the plane has landed on the Patriot Hills. Here we were met by all same workers who were the last year. With the great pleasure I have greeted many people. They also have recognized me. Êàrî was remembered even since 2000, when he participated in expedition to the South Pole. At once we have been informed, that we can depart to base camp of Mount Vinson soon. It is important, we have only six days from that term which was planned. We even have shipped things in small planes, but the next message has come, start is postponed up to tomorrow. We have put tents, had supper. Now, at 12 o`clock, midnight in Antarctica, we try to go to bed.
