Ludmila Korobeshko, director of the 7 Summits Club and a guide of group:

Hello from Mexico! Today, December 28, the entire team gathered in Mexico City.

After checking the equipment, we went to explore the largest Spanish-speaking city on Earth. First of all, we visited Grasshopper Hill (Chapultepec), where the beautiful Chapultepec castle is located.

Then we wandered around the grand expositions of the Anthropological Museum. We watched as the local Indians fell, whirling around  in a dance. And even participated in simpler, but no less colorful dances with fire.

With fights we made our way to the central square of Sokalo (they say the second in the world after the Red Square). With fights we retreated back home. Now we relax before the start of the sports program.

Alex Abramov from Argentina:

Today there was a day of rest at Aconcagua Base Camp on the Plaza de Mulas. The team members washed, collected equipment, “cleaning feathers”. By chance today, the owner of the company, Kari Kobler, came into the camp. We work side by side on Everest base camp around for 20 years.

I also met Hiro (Hiroyuki Kuraoka). He is the best Japanese guide. We worked a lot alongside him on all Seven summits. Hiro is on the right in the photo…

And also, yesterday Czech skyrunner Martin Zhor set a new world record. He ran to the summit of Aconcagua from the Plaza de Mulas (4200 m) to the top in 3 hours 38 minutes 17 seconds. Moreover, he says that he kept a heart rate of 140 beats per minute. And only at the top of the pulse rose to 160. Probably, from the happiness that he became the owner of a world record.

Artem Rostovtsev, Guide of the 7 Summits Club:

Hi 7 Summits! Yesterday all the teams in the High camp planned, including us, to climb to the top today. But somehow in the evening there was a strong wind that only a couple of teams started in the morning. One quickly turned around, and only one, crazy team, reached the top. I don’t understand why, during radio communications, to this team turned “the Russians”, that is, the Russian team. After all, this team included: a resident of Hong Kong, a Hindu, by the way, the youngest woman summiter of Everest, a citizen of Poland and a representative of Ukraine. Well, maybe I even guess - because their guide was Russian. It was the 7 Summit Club team!  We climbed on, returned, we are tired. Thank you all for your attention! Going to sleep!
