Why go there?

Features: Mutnovsky & Avachinsky active volcanoes, the famous Valley of Geysers, sea trip in Avacha Bay and the Pacific, rafting down the Bystraya river. Watching big Kamchatka brown bear and salmon teeming in the rivers is the bonus.

This varied trek includes ascents of three southern volcanoes of medium height, three days of easy rafting down the Bystraya river going through mountains (fishing, watching salmon going to spawn and probably watching fishing bears). The caldera of Mutnovsky volcano is rich in manifestations of the cosmic powers churning under the thin crust of earth. It is considered to be a minor (and less groomed) replica of the Geysers Valley, which may be visited too. The top of Avachinsky volcano affords the bird’s eye view of Petropavlovsk and the Pacific. During a short trip in Avacha Bay you will watch one of the biggest sea birds nesting site. A helicopter flight to the Geysers Valley is a very interesting option (not included in price). Bathing in thermal sources and a thermal pool in Paratunka is included.
