Summit! A group of the 7 Summits Club climbed to the top of the Carstensz Pyramid and down safely
Alexander Abramov, President of the 7 Summits Club, from Papua:
Hello, 7 Summits Club! There's Abramov Alexander from Carstensz Pyramid. Today we climbed to the top of Carstensz Pyramid. We left at two o'clock in the morning, and at two o'clock in the afternoon we went back down. It's been 12 hours. Exactly six hours - up and exactly six hours - down.
The rain was occasional, but it didn't hurt much.
The team feels good, everyone were well on climb. Especially two Indian girls: Mamta and Purna. We hope to fly to Timika tomorrow.
