News of the Los Litros group of the 7 Summits Club.  Yesterday we received permits and moved towards Aconcagua.  We registered at the entrance to the national park and then went up to the Confluencia camp. There we were warmly welcomed with delicious snacks and fruits. And today we made an acclimatization rotation towards the Plaza Francia.  After lunch, we had a medical check giving permission to move to the next Plaza de Mulas camp.  The guides of the group are Andrey Berezin, Viktor Volodin and Valery Myasoedov.

7 Summits Club Guide Andrey Berezin from Argentina: Los Bandidos group news. Today we went up to Colera camp.  There our guides have previously installed a base tent for future ascents. Part of the group made an ascent to a height of 6000 meters for acclimatization.  Now we have gone down to the Plaza de Mulas camp. Tomorrow is our day of rest. The day after tomorrow we plan to start climbing Aconcagua, first we want  to climb Nido de Condores.  Guides Andrey Berezin and Viktor Volodin.

The 7 Summits Club’s  guide Andrey Berezin from Argentina:  Buenos Dias, everyone! News of the Los Bandidos group, from the slopes of Aconcagua. Yesterday we made an acclimatization climb to Plaza Canada, an altitude of 5000 meters.   We also made a depot for the camp on Nido de Condores . Today we are resting, we are going through a medical check. And also we hand over some of our personal belongings with porters and prepare for tomorrow's exit with an overnight stay at Nido de Condores. Buenos Dias, everyone! Today, a group of Los Bandidos, in order to get acquainted with local attractions, visited an abandoned hotel. Built in the 80s of the 20th century, now the hotel is mothballed and no one lives in it.  Next to the hotel, we held a warm-up exercise, under the guidance of Viktor Volodin.  Now we are back in the Plaza de Mulas, having lunch and relaxing. Tomorrow, according to the plan, it will be an acclimatization ascent to Plaza Canada.  The guides of the group are Andrey Berezin and Viktor Volodin.

News from Aconcagua. Our team is now called Los Bandidos. Yesterday we came to the Confluencia camp, and this morning we made an trek under the Southern Face of Aconcagua.  We reached an altitude of 4000 meters, where we spent half an hour eating sandwiches and drinking tea for acclimatization. After that, we returned to Confluencia, where we rested for the rest of the day and prepared for tomorrow's move up to the Plaza de Mulas base camp. In the evening, the whole group passed a Medical Check - a mandatory confirmation of physical condition for the visit  to the Base Camp.  Tomorrow we leave for the Plaza de Mulas camp.  The guides of the group are Andrey Berezin and Viktor Volodin.

One trouble is that one participant did not have her luggage. Otherwise, everything is fine. We wish in 2022 for all the best and happiness! Wait for new news. The Birch Crew group of the 7 Summits Club climbed the Western peak of Elbrus in difficult weather conditions.  We managed to get into the weather window, which was from 2 am to 11 am. We were at the top at 8 am. Besides us, three groups have risen today. Above the saddle there was a strong wind with gusts up to 60 km/h. We had to fight with such weather conditions today.

Andrey Berezin, guide of the 7 Summits Club: News of the Elbrus region. A group of the 7 Summits Club called "Birch Crew" has started an acclimatization program on the slopes of Mount Cheget. Today we went to the first station of the cable car. Today was a normal day, with rain falling from time to time. In the afternoon, the participants took the necessary equipment for rent, and tomorrow we will climb the refuge National Park for further acclimatization before climbing Elbrus.

The sun is shining, but the frost from the wind is felt. This is especially noticeable on the Pastukhov Rocks. That's why we dress warmly.  The group named "American boy" has started a program of preparation and acclimatization for climbing Elbrus. Today we went to the first station of the cable car on Cheget. It has been several days since the cyclone came to the region. Therefore, the weather was overcast, periodically drizzling rain. We were ready for this, and as necessary, we were insulated and protected from precipitation with the necessary clothing in this situation. For the recommendation on equipment, a special thank you to the 7 Summits Club from the grateful participants of the ascent. Tomorrow we will go up to the refuge  National Park, where we will continue preparing for the ascent.

The group "Juan tea" used the reserve day and reached the Western peak of Elbrus. The weather forecast was not the best and was confirmed in some places.  The wind reached 50 km/h. It was difficult to climb on the final leg of the way. The guides of the group Andrey Berezin and Alexander Dorojukov coped with the task and all the group members rose to the highest point.

The group with the guide Nikita Slotin also reached the summit of Elbrus on this day.

Andrey Berezin, a guide of the 7 Summits Club:  Greetings from Elbrus!  Today in the morning we went up to our comfortable refuge National Park, settled in it. And later we started for the second day of acclimatization. We conducted snow and ice training, learned how to use an ice axe for self-arrest, walk on fixed ropes and in rope team. Now we have come down, had lunch and are resting.

The second group with Nikita Slotin as a guide had the same program.
