Greetings from Chile from the group "Malaquitas"!  On January 29, the group (2 participants and 2 guides) reached the summit of the world's highest volcano Ojos del Salado at 15:40 local time! At 4 a.m. we left the shelter Tejos. We were the only ones on the mountain. According to the forecast, a wind of 45 km/ h was promised, but it was almost calm, and when the sun came out, it became quite warm! We admired the starry sky, met the dawn and slowly climbed the crater. Well, then the girls were waiting for a surprise in the form of a rocky summit tower, which they will not soon forget! Using the technique of a short rope, we quickly climbed up, took some photos, enjoyed the views and ran down as soon as it was light! At 19:30 we were already sitting in the car and driving down! Today we go down to the ocean shore, there are scallops...

Greetings from Chile from the group "Malaquitas"!  We're back in touch!!! Elon Musk failed with the Internet and we were left out of touch for a few days!  What has happened in these days?

23.01. The group climbed on the summit of San Francisco! The weather was pleasant, the sun was shining, but on the descent the wind showed who was in charge here.

24.01. Rested in full! Morning boat trip on the lake "Three in a boat, not counting watermelon", barbecue at the springs and evening karaoke with Italians ...

25.01. We went up to the Tejos shelter for the overnight, we did not meet a cougar, but admired the starry sky! The car, to be honest, didn't really want to go up, but we forced it ...

26.01. Today, not without adventures, we went down to Laguna Verde.

Now we are resting, gaining strength and waiting for the weather to climb Ojos del Salado!

All Hola with Laguna Rosa from the group "Malaquitas"!  This morning we managed to visit the mineral museum in Сopiapo, we were amazed by the collection, especially meteorites... And then the road to the mountains began. 2 hours and we are on the pass at an altitude of 4000 meters, a couple of photos in the wind and a descent to 3750, where a whole flock of flamingos and guanacos were waiting for us! There are almost no people, and there are a lot of animals. It remains to wait for the arrival of karancho, an impudent but beautiful bird! Now we are resting, having dinner, and making plans for tomorrow! The weather pleases with warmth and sunshine. Tomorrow we go for a walk to the top of the Seven Brothers!

Nikita Slotin, the guide of the 7 Summits Club, reports from Kyrgyzstan:

Our group made a second attempt to climb the peak of 7134 m. The forecast has not been very good for several days! A chance to climb to the top is possible for a sports-trained group. On August 15 at 3:30, when the wind is least according to the forecast, we leave Camp-3. Many groups went out to climb on this day. But around 7-8 in the morning, the groups turn around, we try to go further. The wind, about 35 km / h, does not knock you down, but you have to fight, snowfall, creating visibility of no more than 25 meters. Experience and patience - let's move on. We pass the knife by 11-12 o'clock in the afternoon, everything is covered with fresh snow, we have to trail...

By 13:30 we reach the beginning of the ascent to the plateau, the height is 6850. Visibility is even worse, we are guided by rocky chain. We make an informed decision to turn around and go down, for a number of significant reasons. Tired, exhausted, we got to Camp-3, moved into tents and sleep.... Today we went down to Camp-1, the participants got acquainted with the avalanche danger closer than we would like, a small board came down over the "Frying Pan"... It's snowing in the Camp 1 now. The mountain shows itself! Treat the mountains with respect and awe...

Our group made an attempt to climb Lenin Peak. The wind forecast for 6500 promised 30 km/h, but in real life at 6200 the wind was so strong that we were thrown down the slope.  We decided to go down to the third camp. Tomorrow the forecast is a little better, we will try again.  But the gap in the weather for the next few days is not visible at all! The weather changes every day and what we see on the websites, unfortunately, does not correspond to reality! And now we're playing a guessing game. The mountain shows character and does not allow climbers.

Yesterday we climbed to the peak of Razdelnaya 6140 m and for better acclimatization spent a night in the third camp, while spending the most wonderful sunset in my mountain memory! Emotions were off the scale even for me!!! Today we went down to the first camp, having overcome the very 100 meters of fixed ropes down, feeling like real climbers who had ice piton pulled out! Everyone is healthy, happy, we are starting the main part of the program - a two-day rest. While everything is going according to plan, the weather is pleasing, we are basking in the sun!
