We want to note that during New Year period (mid Dec 2015 to mid January 2016) 9 groups with a total of 39 people climbed on Kilimanjaro with the "7 Summits Club".

Group climbed from different sides of the volcano, by the route - Marangu, Machame, Lemosho with local Tanzanian and Russian guides.

For someone Kilimanjaro was the first summit, for others it was the next peak after Everest. The youngest participant was 14 years old, the most experienced - 70. They also reached the top of Africa.

32 persons of 39 reached the highest point in Africa (Uhuru peak 5895 m), it is about 84% of successful ascents.

February, 17^th  our group completed the program, which included climbing the highest peak in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, and a two-day safari in the national parks. Rains at the beginning of the campaign gave way to good weather ... Just see all the photographs ...

On Mondays we have a workout in the climbing gym in the DDS  Sport Center under the leadership of Alexander Lastochkin - the master of sports on mountaineering and experienced instructor. Regular exercise was fun and provocatively, marked Valentine's Day celebration, which continued to celebrate the end of training.

 After training, we drank tea and planned a joint trip. Each of the participants decided on the plans, who will go to Pyatigorsk, who in the Crimea, and some in Italy.

As a result, I was not able to reach the top missing a couple of hundred meters.. I did everything I could, and even more. I resisted to the last, and climbed higher and higher. But, alas! In the end, leaving only the desire and the will, but no forces. I could not take a step up. I had to climb down from a height somewhere 6700 meters, after admiring the amazingly beautiful surrounding countryside from this height panorama…

Hello everybody! It is a Head of Mountain School  of the 7 Summits Club on the Caucasian Mineral Waters Alexander Grebenyuk. The group climbed to the top of the mountain Madovaya (honey). Further we were waiting for 200 meters of descent on the ropes. The average steepness was about  60 degrees. The weather is good, warm,  good mood.

Hello, Seven Summits! This is Artem Rostovtsev, from Gillmans point, Kilimanjaro. Gillmans point is the point on the crater, where about half of the climbers ends up with a climb on the mountain. We're not finished. Today we went further, the whole team reached Stella point. Well, after that opinion was divided and half went to the top.  And half were waiting for them below. We met at the Gillmans point…

We were on the top at seven in the morning. Now... the way down to the Horombo hut...

There awaits us a festive meal...

Alexander Grebenyuk:  The first day of work of Mountain school of the  7 Summits Club in the  Caucasus Mineralnye Vody region came to the end with ascent on Mashuk. Good weather, the interesting program, excellent mood promoted performance of objectives. We worked on elements of free climbing on a rocky relief, descents and climb up on ropes on the different steepness of slopes. Then there was an ascent on the of Mount Mashuk Tomorrow we are awaited by Eagle rocks on northwest slopes of Mount Beshtau, is planned to make a traverse of two tops of Beshtau also.

Dmitry Kasyanov climbed on the highest summit of Africa with assistance of the 7 Summits Club along Marangu's route. Returning home, he sent us some interesting photos.

It is excellent opportunity to change cardinally ambience - other continent, the southern hemisphere, new stars in the sky, people with other skin color, this left-hand traffic on roads, and the wild tremendous nature! It is Tanzania which can be beheld from height of clouds, standing on the highest peak of Africa, Kilimanjaro! It is that you will never forget!"

Hello Seven Summits! It Artem Rostovtsev. My group arrived at the gate of the "Kilimanjaro" National Park. It is Marangu gate, we go via Marangu route. Yesterday we all the evening finally came together. We even had time to see Arusha. This morning we completed the preparation and are now ready to begin the journey to the mountain. Weather - nice, although rainy promise. But we hope that it will be  open at the top. Wish us luck! Another hello from Artem Rostovtsev and from the group (we are 7 people) going to Kilimanjaro.

January, 28^th  a team of the 7 Summits Club climbed to the top of the highest volcano in the world, Mount Ojos del Salado. Under the leadership of the president of the Club Alexander Abramov peaks was reached by Dmitry Ginkulov, Oleg Pimenov, Irena Kharazova ... Unfortunately, several members for various reasons, did not reach the summit. Due to the strong winds in this year most of the climbing expeditions refused to climb up the top.

  Ojos del Salado - a very specific mountain, height of almost 7000 meters, located in the region of one of the driest deserts in the world Atacama. The combination of mountains and desert landscape gives rise to quite unusual, unique landscapes. All this makes an expedition to Ojos completely original event an unforgettable experience. Then there are dozens of beautiful pictures and vivid memories for a lifetime...

 We are on the top !!! It says Vladimir Kotlyar, the 7 Summits Club. With me here are Sergey, Eugene and Daniil. We are standing now at the top, all together!  Weather is wonderful! View stunning. And it is not cold - we are even not frozen.

Hello everybody! It is Vladimir Kotlyar. We are sitting now, having dinner in a tent  in the high camp Cholera, at six thousands. Wind, of course, is very strong. It seems that the tent was about to leave for a flight. But it's probably good - if we raise the right to the top. And actually, jokes joke, it is not best condition for climb, we will  fight. At five in the morning, we will try to exit on the summit bid, we will break through. Because this is the only one weather window, the unique opportunity in those days, that we set to climb. So, wish us luck! Adios! We will do everything possible to reach the summit of Aconcagua.

On Friday, January 29,   Alexander Apalko climbed the top of the Peak Orizaba in Mexico. Congratulations! He was accompanied by our local guide Israel Breton. Yet another participant, Andrey Parshin has reached a height of 5300 m. It was the harsh weather conditions, and the most important thing in the difficult condition of the route: the ice ....

Hurrah !!! Our team is at the top of Ojos del Salado! Alex Abramov, Dmitry Ginkulov, Oleg Pimenov, Irena Kharazova ... Three our members for various reasons have not reached the top. But the weather ... the wind blows constantly. We managed to find a window in the weather, we were in doubt a long time, thinking and calculating. We started late enough to avoid night frost. But now we're standing on the top… we are the first team in the last few days, which had climbed it. All other teams turned back because of the strong winds and bitter cold. That all! Our expedition to the Ojos del Salado ends successfully. The 7 Summits Club made another victory. Everybody, bye! Wait for us in Moscow!

 Our men in Mexico, Alex and Andrey, yesterday 27 January climbed the  mount of La Malinche, 4460 m. This is the climb for acclimatization to the main goal of expedition - Orizaba.

We started climbing at 8 am and at 12 were already at the top. Good weather, but strong winds were accompanied their ascent (sometimes up to 80 kilometers per hour)

 Today, January 28^th, our small  group left towards Orizaba Peak.

Hello! This is Alexander Abramov with a report from the highest camp on the summit of Ojos del Salado. The altitude is about 5800 meters. Now we went up to a height of almost 6000 meters. For acclimatization. Wind has not as strong as yesterday. We plan to start at five o'clock in the morning to three hours later to be caught by the sunrise. We hope that the wind will not be as strong and as cold as in previous days, and we will be able to climb Ojos. All members feel well and fine.
