Hello!  It is Ludmila Korobeshko from Antarctica, a guide of  the expedition "The last two degrees," of the Kazakh Geographic Society. Now we are at 32 kilometers from the South Pole. The last days we walked 20 kilometers on a daily basis, which was not easy. Today we decided to go for one day remaining to the Pole 32 kilometers.

Most likely, the New Year for Moscow, we will meet on the road. What, in general, it is quite original. I think that at the time of the New Year for Moscow, we will be 12 kilometers from the Pole. I hope we will overcome it.

Good afternoon! It is Lyudmila Korobeshko from Antarctica. So, we continue to move to the South Pole, it remains 52 km. And we hope to go through it in two days. Although it is unclear whether this is real or not. Because the distance is certainly big. We want today to pass ... 20 km. And the last day we have  to go "up to the stop."

That is, we are fine. Weather ... not very good. All the time clouds, accordingly, it is difficult to navigate. When there is sun, it is much easier to follow the shade.

Due to this reason Magzhan, Ilyas, Yury, and Daulet take their rest fast, immediately pack the camp, and pass the maximum possible distance, eat fast, and go to sleep. There is no space for sentiments, as there, behind the horizon, the desired georgaphical Southern Pole is awaiting for them, where the flag of our country Kazakhstan will be installed, as it was 5 years ago!

Hello! This is Alexander Abramov from Antarctica. Today, our first group flew to Punta Arenas. And the  second group of seven came. Two guides, I and Vladimir Kotlyar met them at the Union Glacier. Now we have arrived already at the base camp of Vinson Massif. Everything happened very quickly, very suddenly. Just half an hour after landing, we were crammed into a small airplane. Now it is 2 a.m., we had dinner and now we go to bed.

 The weather in fact  is some very unstable, a strong west wind ... more clouds.

So we do not even see the top. Tomorrow, most likely, we will go to the next camp called Low Camp. The team is only male. All people are healthy, eat well, with a good appetite. So tomorrow will try to move to the Lower Camp, from where I will try to contact you ...

Yesterday, the second group of 7 Summits Club on Vinson visited Torres del Paine National Park. And almost immediately after returning the team was ordered to take off and was successfully launched from Punta Arenas to Antarctica.

The team has already passed half of the route. Sledges become lighter, but accumulated fatigue and minor injuries, frostbitten cheeks and spoil gear. But the team goes, they go at a good pace. Four members of the Kazakh ski expedition to the South Pole and the guide of the 7 Summits Club Ludmila Korobeshko are closer and closer to the goal ...

6:45. Stand up 7:00. Breakfast. 8:30. Gathering and out of the camp. 13:00. Lunch for 15-20 minutes. 16.00. Another stop for 5 minutes (snack). 18:00. Installation of the camp. 20:00. Dinner. 22:00. End ...

Hello! This is Alexander Abramov. Late last night, we went down to the base camp of Vinson Massif. All participants and two guides feel fine. Now we have only one flight to Union Glacier. Everything is complicated by the fact that the weather was bad at the base camp, a permanent fog, clouds. And so now here we sit almost daily, waiting for the plane, waiting for a  weather gap...

Alex Abramov from Antarctica: Hello! Today, on Christmas Day, the 25^th , our entire team (4 members and 2 guides) climbed Vinson Massif. They are: Catherine,  Alexander, Dmitry, Ganga (Gangaamaa Badamgarav from Mongolia) and two guide Alex Abramov and Vladimir Kotlyar. The team we have strong, but on the top there was a very strong wind. That is, the wind storm and very cold. So we stood at the top of just 5 minutes, and immediately went down ... Well, now everything is good. The team is all in the High camp. And tomorrow we supposed to descend from the High to the Low camp and then to the base camp.

Good afternoon! Lyudmila Korobeshko, ski expedition "The last two degrees." So this is the fourth day of our expedition comes to an end. The first day, we walked 7 kilometers. The next day - 17. Yesterday it was very cold and windy, we walked 15 kilometers and stopped earlier than planned. Because we're cold and tired. Today, Dec. 24, in our group, the birthday of one of the participants, Ilyas. He was 21 years old. And in honor of this event, we decided to go 21 kilometers. Make him a gift. We were able to fulfill it. We walked 21 km today. However, in the end, it turned out about 9 hours of travel. Today it was a little warmer. Probably somewhere minus 20-25, the wind was also relatively strong.

Today is the day of Christmas and the birth of Elias. All right, slowly drawn into the rhythm. I would like to continue to be held by 20 kilometers. Well, let's see if we will have it prepared.

Today, our team has climbed to the High camp, the assault camp. Now we are sitting in tents, cooking dinner, that is, boiling water. We are in it to dilute the dry products, good quality. And tomorrow morning we will take the ascent attempt. Like the weather is not so terrible. So wait for new messages. All feel fine. Bye!

 Good afternoon! It is Lyudmila Korobeshko saying from Antarctica. Now we are on the route. Yesterday we arrived by plane on the 88th degree, and we began to move. We were five people: me and four guys from Kazakhstan ... all sport-athletes. Yesterday we went only 3 hours, it is about 7 kilometers. Today we started at 9 am and went to almost 5 pm. Not much, 17 kilometers, but it is for the first day, in general, not bad. Along the way, we broke two fixtures, but fortunately we had a replacement. If something else breaks, already we will have to invent something. Yesterday it was warm enough, somewhere minus 21. Today in the evening there is more cold, I think, somewhere minus 25 - minus 30.

 Basically, it's okay, we're moving on.

Hello! Alexander Abramov from Antarctica, Vinson Massive. Today we managed to get through to the Lower camp -  this is the next camp for the base. Here we set up tents. Today's weather is great, the sun shines, warmly. Tomorrow the plan we are making a deposit in the upper, High camp and went down to the base. We will start at 12 am and will go down as planned at about 11 at night. Imagine - it is one of the most warm time of day, warm and sunshine, perfect. We have dinner and again at two in the night go to bed. At about 3 am  in the camp comes shade and the temperature became  about minus 25 - minus 30. Therefore, it is desirable to spend this time inside the tent. The temperature inside lowed to minus 15 degrees. At am 11-30 the sun came and  am Midday there is plus 20 in tents!

Hello! Alexander Abramov from Antarctica, from the base camp Vinson. Yesterday evening, our team arrived in the base camp ...

And today, we tried to pick up our things to the next camp at a height of 3200 meters. This camp, called Low Camp. But bad weather and heavy fog prevented us from doing so. So we left our stuff in the middle of the way. And tomorrow we will make an attempt to get to the Low camp.

 It is Ludmila Korobeshko from Antarctica. Now our team .... We are still at the Union Glacier. Weather in the South Pole is not very good: about minus thirty degrees plus strong wind. Still, we hope to fly tomorrow. Today we had another training session. Almost 2 hours we ran 10 kilometers with a load with a sledge. The boys, of course, all young and strong, a true athlete.

Ilyas - one of the leading athletes in skyrunning in Kazakhstan.

Magzhan - the organizer of the project, the Kazakh expedition to Antarctica, the traveler ... as a serious climber. Daulet - the doctor of the expedition, is also quite skilled, young.

And Yuri - a very experienced traveler, an experienced climber...

All the guys are strong  and we hope that we will be able to made the "The last two degrees" in a fairly rapid pace. Because in fact, the time we have is not so much ... Wemust to catch up to the third of January back ...

 In general, everything goes well. Today we are finally distributed all public cargo. And tomorrow we hope to fly to the starting place.

Message of December 20^th, 6 am.

 Hello! This is Alexander Abramov from Antarctica. Today, on December 19th, our team finally arrived as planned on Vinson Massif. Here, at the base camp, a few days the weather was bad, but today we were  lucky, all arrived at the scene. A team of Kazakh (Magjan and Ilijas)  by the same plane flew back to the Union. They're going to go to the South Pole with Ludmila Korobeshko by program Last two degrees. So we swapped.

  We arrived to the base camp and started to equip it. We have put  sleeping tents and then we put our big new tent for the kitchen. In it, we put a chic table, everything turned out fine ....

We are all well planned out, brought rugs, plywood, so we are very pleased with themselves. Then there was a very good dinner with chicken vegetables soup. And  for the second dish, there were cutlets with buckwheat.

Plus, we brought and put cake, which also happy to eat for dinner.

In general, everything is fine. The weather is good. Tomorrow we're going to try to reach the High camp to make a deposit.

Hello! There is Alex Abramov from Antarctica. Today, two significant events happened. The first event today, our two teams - one that goes to the South Pole, the last two degrees, and the second, the team at the peak of Vinson, arrived in Antarctica. We caught the window.

 In Antarctica, the weather was bad. It seems that today was the so-called "eye of the cyclone." Later in the evening the weather turned bad again. Tomorrow we are promised bad weather. Thank God, we have in Antarctica at Union Glacier and we will  now waiting for the flight to Vinson Massif. In the base amp of Vinson Massif there are  several groups that also have not been able to get to the Union Glacier  camp, because everything is covered with clouds. Nevertheless, our entire team of 9 people flew to Antarctica and it is a happy event.

 The second happy event. Today, December 18,  it is exactly 50 years from the day of the first reaching the top of the Mount of Vinson. It took place December 18th, 1966. American Expedition members  wre the first.

 So we're a little bit today commemorated this date. Well, in general, we have serious plans. Tomorrow will tell the new news. While we were comfortably settled in Union Glacier camp.

The flights of the two groups of the 7 summits Club went well. Although Alexander Abramov and Lyudmila, Korobeshko not sent us information. Confirmation: satellite data on the movement of groups of Kazakhstan, which Luda will lead to the pole. And the message of Vern Tejas, who flew with our on the same plane... He's going to fly to Vinson immediately and it is possible that the group Alexander Abramov with him today fly to the base camp at the foot of the highest mountain of the continent.
