Alexander Abramov from Turkey: Greetings from Ararat! Today there was a busy day. We left the hotel early in the morning to meet Ararat. On the way, we took our time and swam in Lake Van. In Dogubayazit, we changed the transport and went to the starting point. The trail is heavily eroded by the rains and now the route starts a little lower than before, right from the village. We gained a vertical kilometer during the day and came to the Base Camp at an altitude of 3200 m. In the evening, a cultural program was presented in the form of Kurdish folk songs and dancesþ And, of course, preparations were underway for tomorrow. Tomorrow is the day of acclimatization.
