Korzhenevskaya and Kommunizma Peaks 2011

Good afternoon, Lyudmila Korobeshko report from the Expedition of 7 Summits Club to the Peaks Korzhenevsky and Communism.
Long-awaited Triumph! Yesterday all membership of the expedition climbed on top!!! We were in a hurry because of bad weather which has hooked us at top, however.
We get started later at 9 am, after long discussions and hope that weather will improve, but it didn't improve. In general we were unique 5 persons who have managed to climb that day... There was going to leave about 15 people, but the others have decided to delay an ascent about what more likely  they have regretted because today weather has even more worsened and nobody has climbed mountain in general.
Only now we are descended to the Base Camp at 3200m, took a shower. Everybody  are very tired but happy. In general, all are alive, more or less healthy, and happy.
I would like to repeat once again that the whole group  it is: Vladimir A. Ivjansky,Victor V. Serov, Sergey G. Shchekoldin, (the guide) and me. Yesterday we all together at 3 pm local time were in the Peak of Korzhenevsky 7105m and now we are in Base Camp, everything is great, bye and good luck!

Good day, it is Lyudmila Korobeshko from the expedition of 7 Summits Club on Korjenevskaya and Communism peaks. Today we had a day of rest, which went quite well, especially after yesterday, then  we celebrated several things: it's my Birthday and celebration of the successful ascend of first 2 climbers of the season at the peak Korjenevskaya. In general, the festival was very nice, so today we slept almost until noon.
Tomorrow we plan to go for the second acclimatization row. We come now for two nights on 5100m camp and further move to camp 5600m,  to establish our second camp, after that go down. In general, everything is fine; everybody recovered after the first night in the altitude. Bye to all!

Guys have just returned from the first night of stay at a height of 5100м. This output was not easy for our team, almost no one slept, and almost all felt the effect of the altitude and all the complexity of the process of acclimatization. But the team is completely well, everybody is already in the Base Camp, and now, finally, Lyudmila, will be able, together with the group and all the friends who are now in BC to celebrate her birthday. That's what she told us about, how the day:

"This is Lyudmila Korobeshko from the expedition 7 Summits Club on the Peak Korzhenevskaya, Communism. Yesterday we were dropped  by helicopter on Moskvina glade to 4200. In principle, everything is fine. We take a walk along the Moskvina glacier in the Peak of Four. Today we went for another walk up to the helipad, it's already on the way to the Peak of Communism, looked approach there. In fact, there is quite a lot of hanging seracs, but it is quite possible that by the time we go to Communism route will be cleared already.

Now, the next three weeks we will construct the route to Korzhenevskaya. So far, in this season on the Korzhenevskaya no one has climbed yet. Ropes hang up to 5800м...."

After the rightful siesta, we walked through the market, bought oriental sweets and salo (Ukraine national dish). Then visited an interesting country institution "little flower", where the shish kebab serves now prohibited in Russia Kinzmarauli. Tomorrow, along with the poles and the iranians  we go to Djargital.

Today on July 26 at 5 in the morning, we landed in the capital of Tajikistan, Dushanbe. In the way to the hotel  we found the most important thing: the melons  and watermelons is and cost almost nothing, barbecues in the evening we have already ordered, heat of 35 degrees is compensated by a great number of fountains. Tomorrow we go to Djirgital, and until all have to sleep!
