Crimea 2019

In Crimea, the guides of the 7 Summit Club continue to train climbers. Guests from Moscow Tanya and Sveta successfully climbed two routes on the Crimean rocks - on Koshka and Merdven!

Evgeny Vdovin met the onset of the calendar winter on the rocks of Crimea. On Sunday, he completed the basic course of rock climbing in the Crimea! Together with the guides of the 7 Summits Club Evgeny climbed two long multi-pitches routes, received a lot of technical skills. And that’s in just three days!

Friends and fans of the 7 Summits Club! Alex+Lucy project is completed! These are two beautiful routes that lead along the Western and Eastern ridges of the South Face to the summit of Shaan-Kaya! We invite Alex, Lucy and all-all-all to climb it! Crimean guides of the 7 Summits Club.

The team of the 7 Summits Club climbed the Kenya route on the Koshka rock massif.

 Ludmila Korobeshko, director of the 7 Summits Club: the history of the Kenya route, which our team climbed today, is Interesting.  This summer Alla Mishina was preparing to climb the second highest and possibly the most difficult peak in Africa – Mount Kenya (5199). She was preparing in the Crimea and asked our Crimean climbers to make a route that simulates the ascent of African Kenya. So there was born “a Crimean Kenya”. Excellent route: 4 pitches with gorgeous views (approximately 6A) and 30 m of Dulfer on the background of the sea. We recommend  it to all!!!

Yesterday, the team of the 7 Summits Club climbed Mount  AI-Petri rock wall in the Crimea by the route Miskhorsky Grottoes. This is probably the most beautiful route in Crimea. Then there was the night Yalta. The weather was gorgeous.

 The team of the 7 Summits Club Alex Abramov visit the Crimea again! Arriving late, we managed to climb on the rocks of Koshka in Simeiz and meet the sunset on the height! Today we climbed the incomparable beauty of the route via-ferrata on Ilyas-Kaya.  Great weather, the sun shines and dazzles, the rocks  inspires!

 In Crimea, our new climber has completed the climb on Balan-Kaya Rock! Louis-Philippe it is a multipitch route which she has climbed. And it is not easy.  Here we usually work out a training in belay and rope technique. Tomorrow the route Gornyashka (“Mountain fever”) is scheduled!

And here in the Crimea, our regular guest Sergey Korkin starts on one of the most difficult rock walls - Shaan-Kaya! Sascha Marinkevic, our main guide, promises small rain, but it's a  real survival school and you're ready to climb!

 Crimea. Mountaineering School. Today we climbed 2 routes. One – on Tooth of Morcheka - 7 pitches. Then we moved to Alim Rock and went multipitch - 5 pitches. The day we ended with Crimean wine. Excellent!!!

 In Crimea, we continue training for high-altitude climbing.  We have three groups at the same time. Mikhail Turovsky, Alex Abramov and Natasha Kartashova try the via ferrata on the Ilyas-Kaya. The route of extraordinary beauty, a series of quite flat sections turns into an overhanging walls. We have to sweat, strong wind knocks down, but we fight!

 7 Summits, Hello!  This is Alexander Abramov from Crimea. Last year, enthusiasts from Sevastopol made an excellent via Ferrata here. I recommend everyone go through it. It is 2.3 km on the rocks, sometimes vertical. We decided to include this route in the mandatory schedule of our Mountain school for training in the Crimea. Special thanks to Yuri Kruglov, who created this Wonder of the World!

Today we opened a new rocky route called "Alex" on Mount Shan-Kaya in Crimea.  Our guide Sasha Marinkevich and his team equipped, probably, the easiest route on, probably, the most difficult rocky face of Crimea.

The route leads  along the left ridge of the mountain. The difficult of the pitches  is up to 6A-6B. Probably an even simpler route  named "Lucy" will be equipped by the next fall. Thank you creators!

Hello dears! Team "Abramov and Korobeshko" works on contrasts. Yesterday we climbed Elbrus. And today we are already doing rock climbing in the Crimea. Today we climbed a cool new multi-pitch "Xenia" (4 pitches) on the mount Krestovaya. And tomorrow we're climbing a new route on Shan Kaya – named “Alex”. All of the upcoming holiday, Day of Russia!

Our guests Irina and Dima completed the three-day session of the Mountain school! Lately all of our programs are very intensive.  We did 3 big climbs in three days, plus light trekking, rock training, sea bathing. After such classes, our friends, of course, promise to return and get to the advanced level!

News from Crimea. Our guest from Moscow Igor climbed the route "Surprise" in the rain. This was his second hard climb  in three days - a great result! The training session is over, the main technical skills have been obtained, go to climb Matterhorn!
