Sergey Larin, the guide of the group from Tanzania: The Siafu team news. Today, February 15, we moved from Camp Shira to Camp Baranko 4000m, via Lava Tower (4600m). There was lunch on Lava Taur. And after lunch, it rained heavily again. We went down to the Baranko camp along the rain rivers. The descent reminded me of Papua New Guinea at times. I couldnt remember such rains on Kilimanjaro. I've never been here during the rainy season, though. Kilimanjaro is covered in snow. If this goes on, you'll see that the glaciers will recover.
