 Greetings from the Elbrus region from the "YuAR" group! Yesterday we successfully completed the acclimatization cycle with a hike to Pastukhov Rocks. The weather allowed us to admire the wonderful views of the mountain peaks of the Greater Caucasus Range. All participants coped with the climb and feel good. Hello to everyone from the Elbrus region! The 7 Summits Club group has decided on a name - now "We are the first". Today we went for acclimatization to the "Maiden Braids" waterfall, a unique natural object in its beauty. The weather was great and we had wonderful views of the peaks of the Main Caucasian Ridge. All the group members feel good, physically and mentally ready for new challenges.

 Good evening from the slope of Elbrus! The "Moscow Pies" team successfully completed the 2nd and 3rd days of acclimatization on the southern slopes of Elbrus. On the second day, the team practiced the technique of stopping with an ice axe in case of a fall, and on the third day we reached Pastukhov Rocks at an altitude of 4550 m. One participant decided to test his endurance and briskly climbed to an altitude of 4700 m. Tomorrow is an important day of rest and preparation for the assault on the summit. That is, for training sessions on the technique of movement and belay on snowy terrain. At an altitude of 4100 we practiced self-arrest with ice axes, walked in crampons, some of the participants saw them for the first time. After the classes, we had a delicious lunch and rested. Hello to everyone from the 7 Summits Club group "Zhduny" from the Southern slopes of Elbrus! Today we moved to the refuge "National Park", where we will spend several days. We had a busy day. We climbed higher up the slope of Elbrus and conducted training sessions. We learned how to walk in ropes, move along fixed ropes, and of course, we remembered our childhood, sliding down and practicing self-arrest on a snowy slope.

After a delicious lunch, we rested a little and just admired the views of the mountains. And I must say, the weather today is simply magical! And, of course, we are very cozy here in the warm houses.

 Have a cheerful day, everyone! On July 4, the Pulse of the Mountains team reached the summit of Mount Elbrus (5642 m). Unfortunately, not in full force, as two participants had to interrupt the expedition due to health reasons. The rest of the team successfully climbed to the highest point. Our ascent began at 2:30, and we reached the summit at 7:40. The team got into a wonderful weather window, so we were able to see epic and beautiful views from the top of the mountain that no photograph can convey.

   Greetings from the slopes of Elbrus! Today, on the second day of acclimatization, our new super-group "Botaniki" went out for training snow exercises in the area of the Refuge of Eleven (4070 m). There we practiced the skill of self-arrest using an ice axe, as well as moving along a snowy slope, individually and in a rope. We made an imitation of a fixed rope, practiced re-climbing, that is, working with the carabiners of the self-belay on the fixed rope. The weather was not kind, there was poor visibility, but there was no wind. Tomorrow is going to be a difficult day, we are going to a serious height – Pastukhov Rocks.
