Today we left the Confluencia camp for an acclimatization hike in the direction of Plaza Francia and, as planned, reached an altitude of 4000 meters. Returning to the camp, we had lunch and underwent a medical examination. Tomorrow, we have a difficult trek to the Plaza de Mulas base camp, the group is ready for it. Today, January 17, our super-team, having taken the name "The Path of the Condor", left Mendoza for the mountains. Hola! The "Los Hombres" group successfully climbed the highest point of South and North America, and the Western and Southern Hemispheres, Mount Aconcagua, 6962 meters high. The wind was flapping the tents all night. The radio reported that at 6,000 meters, where the Berlin camp is located, the wind was over 60 km/h. After breakfast, we decided to immediately descend to the Plaza de Mulas base camp. Tomorrow we will rest and prepare to go on the summit assault.

Hola! The "Los Hombres" group today had a rest day after a long trek from Confluencia to Plaza de Mulas. After lunch, we decided to go on an excursion to an abandoned shelter. On the way, we had to cross calgasporas (aka penitentes). It turned out to be a quite difficult task. But we managed!
