On August 15, the Club 8000 group "Lenin, brothers!" climbed Lenin Peak! The day was long. The first half of the day, as usual in the Pamirs, was clear and cloudless. We reached the summit after lunch; at which time the mountain was already covered by clouds and light snow began to fall. The descent took place under a snowfall. Here we felt all the vast expanses of Lenin Peak and its power. As a result, closer to the evening, the whole team was in the Third Camp.

On August 16, we safely descended to the First camp. Next, Osh with its benefits of civilization awaits us. Group guides Andrey Berezin and Valery Myasoedov.

<![CDATA[ The expedition of the 8000 Club to Lenin Peak sums up the results, the heroes received awards ]]> http://7summitsclub.com/news/all/item_17514/ Greetings from Kyrgyzstan, the glorious city of Osh! The joint group of the 8000 Club on Lenin Peak has completed the program! Today we saw off the last participants. And the day before, we held an award ceremony at a gala dinner. The best tea house of Osh "Navat" was chosen for the ceremony. The busy program and the early departure of some participants did not allow the ceremony to be held in full, nevertheless, it took place and was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

All participants noted that the mountain is very difficult, it was hard. The path to the top was trodden only in the 20th of July, which makes our achievement more significant. We are proud of our participants, they showed incredible endurance and will to the top, without this, no ascent to such a height is possible. Well done! Guides Andrey Berezin and Valery Myasoedov.

The acclimatization part of the program continues. Three busy days flew by quickly, we are already in the Base Camp, resting, gaining strength before the decisive exit. During these days, we spent two nights in the Second Camp with a rotation to the Third Camp and Razdelnaya Peak itself, 6.148 m. It is worth noting that both groups, going in parallel, in full force entered Razdelnaya in a strong wind. And special mention should be made of our young 18-year-old participants Katya and Natalia, for whom Razdelnaya was the finale of the program. However, Katya, feeling confident in her abilities, changed her plans and decided to go with the main group to the summit of Lenin Peak! The weather is stabilizing, our chances are growing, we believe in our success. Guide Valery Myasoedov.

Greetings from Kyrgyzstan from Lenin Peak from the group "Always ready-s"! We are already in the First Camp at 4,400 m! We reached it at a good pace in 5 hours. We didn't have time for lunch according to the schedule, but, of course, they were waiting for us, and the stuffed peppers were universally approved. The weather is not good, it is even more or less acceptable before lunch, which we took advantage of, today we held snow and ice classes, remembered the skills of using jumars and ascender devices. After lunch, it was swept away, we rest in comfortable tents with mattresses, pillows and blankets, and electricity is supplied to each tent, a light bulb and a pilot for charging. It's somehow more pleasant to experience bad weather this way.

On the second day of the program, according to the plan, we had the beginning of active acclimatization, reaching the shoulder of Petrovsky peak. On a clear, slightly cool morning, Lenin Peak appeared in front of us. He appeared like such a snow-covered giant, showing his power and greatness and setting us up for a serious challenge. We accept the call and start working. The walk turned out to be unhurried, at a comfortable pace for everyone. We reached the 4000 m mark, admired the surroundings and went down to the camp at lunchtime. We never cease to be surprised by the service at the Base Camp and marvel at the amenities of our super comfortable yurts. It will be a pity to leave them, but tomorrow we plan to move to the First Camp. Guides Andrey Berezin and Valery Myasoedov.

Good afternoon, everyone! News in recent days from the Octobrata group. We started climbing at one o'clock in the morning on July 10th. The weather was not favorable: it was snowing and the wind was blowing, which knocked them off their feet. But we continued our hard way to the summit. When we reached the "Knife", a steep section at an altitude of 6700, the wind increased even more. And then the right decision was made to return back. At the same time, the wind did not abate, but knocked them down. Upon returning to the Third Camp, the weather did not improve. Gathering our strength, we went down to the First Camp and then to the glorious city of Osh. All participants are happy and joyful.

8.07.24. The group "Octobrata", at the crack of dawn, went to the Second camp. After the snowfall, the trail was covered, but not much. We walked slowly, it was good that the weather allowed us to do so. So, we went up to the camp, which is located on a slope, and therefore places for a tent are limited. But we were lucky, they put up a large tent, with tables and benches, where you can comfortably sit and eat well. The well-being of the band members is good, everyone is resting. Tomorrow we will move to an altitude of 6100 meters, to the Third Camp.

R.S. Yesterday, the head of the 7 Summits Club, Alexander Abramov, came to the First Camp, who gave us a lot of valuable and useful advice.

Greetings to all from the Lenin Peak base camp from the group "Everything is going according to plan"! On 22.07.23, the group in full force at 13:30 stood on the peak with a height of 7134 meters. For many, this height has become a personal record, at which none of the participants is going to stop! We left Camp 3 at 2:00. An unpleasant wind was blowing, but the sky was starry, it remained to trust our gut and forecast. At 8:00 we climbed the 6800 "knife", the sun came out, and life immediately got better. The wind died down, and we began to roast our carcasses, slowly wandering to the top. The ascent from the Plateau of Parachutists was not easy, especially these takeoffs, behind which, as you think, there should be a peak, and there turns out to be another takeoff. And here it is!!! The summit! And on the descent, a bonus was waiting for us - a climb from the jumper to the third camp, to the long-awaited tents... And today our team is already at the height of 3600 in the bar.

Hello to everyone from from the group "Everything is going according to plan"! At night we managed to enjoy the starry sky. And today is another sunny day, which means that soon there will be no weather, just for our acclimatization. But we are not discouraged and are preparing to go out! Today we held ice classes, remembered how to use descenders and jumars correctly. We walked in crampons on slopes of different steepness and learned to work as a single rope. Tomorrow, according to the plan, we go to the second camp, there will be no connection, unless the crazy Internet suddenly breaks through, but we use it to write to our relatives! Wait for news after the descent.

They promise the sun! In the evening, there was a traditional gatherings with a guitar!

<![CDATA[ Greetings from the Pamirs, from our Sherpa friends! ]]> http://7summitsclub.com/news/all/item_14730/ For the fifth year in the summer, our friends from Nepal come to the mountains of Central Asia to work on our seven-thousandth Lenin Peak and Khan Tengri. These are different students of the 7 Summits Club, employees of our Himalayan expeditions. At one time, we recommended them to our partners at the seven-thousandth. Now they no longer need recommendations. We are a little proud of it! And the fact that we are not forgotten, from time to time they are sending greetings for us from the mountains!

<![CDATA[ The group of the 7 Summits Club on Lenin Peak climbed to a height of 6850 meters, the highest on this day ]]> http://7summitsclub.com/news/all/item_14673/ Nikita Slotin, the guide of the 7 Summits Club, reports from Kyrgyzstan:

Our group made a second attempt to climb the peak of 7134 m. The forecast has not been very good for several days! A chance to climb to the top is possible for a sports-trained group. On August 15 at 3:30, when the wind is least according to the forecast, we leave Camp-3. Many groups went out to climb on this day. But around 7-8 in the morning, the groups turn around, we try to go further. The wind, about 35 km / h, does not knock you down, but you have to fight, snowfall, creating visibility of no more than 25 meters. Experience and patience - let's move on. We pass the knife by 11-12 o'clock in the afternoon, everything is covered with fresh snow, we have to trail...

By 13:30 we reach the beginning of the ascent to the plateau, the height is 6850. Visibility is even worse, we are guided by rocky chain. We make an informed decision to turn around and go down, for a number of significant reasons. Tired, exhausted, we got to Camp-3, moved into tents and sleep.... Today we went down to Camp-1, the participants got acquainted with the avalanche danger closer than we would like, a small board came down over the "Frying Pan"... It's snowing in the Camp 1 now. The mountain shows itself! Treat the mountains with respect and awe...

<![CDATA[ A group of the 7 Summits Club on Lenin Peak made an attempt to storm the summit. Because of the strong wind, they returned to the camp ]]> http://7summitsclub.com/news/all/item_14663/ Nikita Slotin, a guide of the 7 Summits Club, reports from Kyrgyzstan:

Our group made an attempt to climb Lenin Peak. The wind forecast for 6500 promised 30 km/h, but in real life at 6200 the wind was so strong that we were thrown down the slope. We decided to go down to the third camp. Tomorrow the forecast is a little better, we will try again. But the gap in the weather for the next few days is not visible at all! The weather changes every day and what we see on the websites, unfortunately, does not correspond to reality! And now we're playing a guessing game. The mountain shows character and does not allow climbers.

Nikita Slotin, guide of the 7 Summits Club, reports from Kyrgyzstan:
Greetings to all from the slightly tired but satisfied group from the first camp of Lenin Peak! Yesterday we climbed to the peak of Razdelnaya 6140 m and for better acclimatization spent a night in the third camp, while spending the most wonderful sunset in my mountain memory! Emotions were off the scale even for me!!! Today we went down to the first camp, having overcome the very 100 meters of fixed ropes down, feeling like real climbers who had ice piton pulled out! Everyone is healthy, happy, we are starting the main part of the program - a two-day rest. While everything is going according to plan, the weather is pleasing, we are basking in the sun! Tomorrow we are planning an easy weekend walk! It's July 18 and we don't know what's going on in the world, how good it is! All the best, follow the news!
