In the evening, a ceremonial event was held to present certificates, medals and mutual gratitude. As usual, the party was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Smiles, laughter, handshakes and hugs, and even dancing, despite the fatigue!

We join in congratulating Alexander Abramov - 3 highest volcanoes of the continents in 2 weeks! Keep it up!

<![CDATA[ Diary of the ascent of Kilimanjaro by the 7 Summits Club group "Chameleons". November 5-6: Kibo hut and the summit! ]]> http://7summitsclub.com/news/all/item_17909/ The guide of the 7 Summits Club Evgeny Fedyunin: 11/5-6/2024. Jambo Rafiki!

There was no connection, a hundred thousand sorry! During these two days, the "Chameleons" group of the 7 Summits Club climbed to the Kibo assault camp at 4730 m. On the way there, we had lunch in a beautiful gazebo located in the saddle between Mount Mawenzi at 5145 m and the main summit of the Kilimanjaro massif, Uhuru Peak at 5895 m.

On the night of 6.11, we set out to assault in two groups, an hour apart, and by 8.00 we reunited on the crater in the Gilmans point area at 5685 m.

And by 10 am, our entire friendly team stood at the highest point of Africa, Uhuru Peak at 5895 m in the Kilimanjaro massif! Unfortunately, one girl, due to health reasons, turned back from a height above 5000 m. By evening, tired but happy, we descended to the Horombo camp at 3720 m, where a varied and delicious dinner awaited us.

Happy everyone! Today we go down to the Marangu gate and leave for our favorite hotel Aishe Machame.

Good luck to everyone!

Your super-guides Alexander Abramov and Evgeny Fedyunin.

03.11. Jambo Rafiki! The "Chameleons" group of the 7 Summits Club, today passed through the heather thickets of moorland along the eastern slope of Mount Kilimanjaro and climbed to the Horombo camp at 3720m. Almost simultaneously, our group was caught up here by Alexander Abramov, who is doing the "7 volcanoes in 77 days" project in parallel with our program. He has just climbed the 2nd peak of the project – Damavand, and now we are going to Kili together!

The altitude is making itself felt a little, but everyone is feeling well, and so is their appetite. Good luck to everyone!

The camp is very comfortable. We live in small houses on beds. The food is very tasty. The team is in a great mood. Today we will watch a film about Everest, which Ilya Gladkikh shot in the spring during our spring expedition.

Today our team does nothing but dance and sing. I love this atmosphere on Kilimanjaro. Thanks to our local team, who make our ascent a holiday.

At the very beginning of the walk, we came up with a name for the group - Anahata. "Anahata" is the heart chakra. We will open our hearts and receive joy (as much as possible) from this amazing journey.

Today we passed the first stage - through the jungle. We saw black and white colobus monkeys. In the first camp, where we reached today, all the participants were amazed at how comfortable it is.

<![CDATA[ 99 DAYS! Alex Abramov's new plan to set a record for the speed of completing the "Seven Volcanoes" program ]]> http://7summitsclub.com/news/all/item_17664/ The President of the 7 Summits Club Alexander Abramov has adjusted the previously announced project "Seven Volcanoes in Seven Months". Indeed, if a record is to be set, it should be extreme, at least in its part. Seven months is too easy, it can be halved!

Alexander Abramov plans to climb the highest volcanoes on all continents in less than 100 days. This will be "Project 99". On October 1, Alexander sets off with a group to climb the Giluwe volcano (Australian continent). And he intends to finish on the Antarctic mountain Mount Sidley in early January 2025.

Good luck, Ñaptain!

You can join our leader and take part in a real world record. There are places in almost all groups. And if there is no group, you can join our hero as a fan.

October 1-6. Alex Abramov will lead the 7 Summits Club group to climb Giluwe volcano.

On October 10, Moscow will host an Evening dedicated to the 7 Summits Club's birthday. The President's presence is mandatory.

October 12-13. These days are set aside for climbing Elbrus. The logistics are still unclear. Most likely, there will be an attempt at climbing SUPER BLITZ - 24 hours from the airport and back.

October 17-24. Damavand volcano, it is still unclear what program can be agreed upon with the Iranian host.

November 1-8. The highest volcano in Africa - Kilimanjaro. The 7 Summits Club group climbs the Marangu route.

NEXT - An emergency flight to Mexico. Alexander catches up with the SUPER GIRLS project group

November 7-16. Climbing Orizaba volcano according to the SUPER GIRLS project program!

December 10-24. The first group of the 7 Summits Club season on Ojos del Salado, the highest volcano in the world.

December 27, 2024 - January 10, 2024. New Year in Antarctica. Climbing Mount Sidley.

With ideal completion of all routes, it will take about 95 days from the first summit to the final one.

Alexander Abramov can safely be called the "godfather" of the Seven Volcanoes program. It was the president of the 7 Summits Club who conceived, and our company carried out, the historic 2011 expedition on Mount Sidley. Since the scientific discovery of this highest volcano in Antarctica, no one had been there. As a result of the 2011 ascent, the first people to climb all seven volcanoes appeared. These were the participants of our expedition, the experienced Italian climber Mario Trimeri and the 16-year-old Romanian girl Crina (Coco) Popescu. And this was the real start of the "Seven Volcanoes" program. Russia, represented by our company, is the world leader in the number of climbers who have climbed all seven volcanoes of the project. At the moment, out of 46 who have completed the project, 14 represent our country. There is something to be proud of!

The most important historical photo of the "Seven Volcanoes" project. 2011, at the top of Sidley are standing the expedition leader Alexander Abramov and the first people to climb all "seven volcanoes" Mario and Coco.

Waking up in the morning, everyone was surprised and delighted to admire the blanket of clouds below us. And those who were not too lazy to leave their homes at night could watch the incredible starry sky. After breakfast, we went for a short scenic walk to Zebra Rocks - black and white rock massive. In four hours we gained and dropped 400 meters, which is very good for acclimatization. And we saw a lot of beautiful things, which is just good.

At the camp, we were greeted with songs and dances. The ceremony of getting to know the team was held cheerfully. They sang songs, we danced. Tomorrow we will have a big march to the assault camp.

<![CDATA[ A new group of the 7 Summits Club arrived in Tanzania and began climbing Kilimanjaro with a date with wild animals ]]> http://7summitsclub.com/news/all/item_17251/ A new adventure of the 7 Summits Club in Tanzania has begun today. And not as usual with a rest after the flight, but immediately with a full immersion in a new world. We went on safari right from the plane and it turned out to be a great idea! We took a walk in nature, watched giraffes, wild boars, baboons and colobuses very closely, and buffaloes watched us and munched menacingly. And when we finally got to the hotel, we were surrounded by Maasai, dressed up in their clothes, and we participated in their national dances. Then, as usual: the bustle of checking equipment, a briefing, gifts from the 7 Summits Club and answers to all questions. And at the end of the day, a gala dinner with a surprise: an invited jazz band set the mood especially for us. So, with good impressions and anticipation, we went to rest. Tomorrow we will have the first day of trekking to the summit of the highest mountain in Africa – Kilimanjaro.

Jumbo Rafiki! The group of the 7 Summits Club "Power Rangers" started the morning with morning exercises, everyone liked the format of such an awakening! After breakfast, we had to storm the Barranco Wall, which always scares at the first sight of it. But coming closer, everything is not so scary and quite passable. Then we crossed two valleys, on the slopes of which you could see the effects of a large fire. It occurred as a result of careless handling of fire. After that, there is now a categorical ban on tourists in the National Park for the presence of any fire!

By lunchtime we were already at Karanga camp 4030m. After eating, we went for a walk a little up the hill to sleep better! And at the dinner, Anatoly was congratulated on his Birthday!

Now we are resting and preparing for the final throw - going to the assault camp and climbing!

Good luck to everyone!

The height makes itself felt, there are signs of a headache, but everything is within normal limits! A wonderful lunch, watermelons for dessert, the stunning valley of senecia (grass palms) on the descent, and the view of the Barranco wall, where we have to climb tomorrow - ALL this filled the brain, even to the stingy male tears. And the availability of free Wi-Fi in the camp was completely amazing... March 13th. Greetings from Africa! This morning, our Space Team climbed on the summit of Kilimanjaro - Uhuru Peak! It was not easy - the wind and cold, but the views from the top and the fact that we managed to overcome themselves paid off all the difficulties.

At the top, we opened a bottle of champagne and photographed Klim's book (we also did not forget to take pictures of ourselves). Already in the Kosovo camp, we were hit by hail, but this did not overshadow the joy of victory.

Now we have gone down to the Millennium. We wash off and eat off. We're going back to civilization tomorrow.

Greetings from Africa! From Barranco camp at 3900m on the slopes of Kilimanjaro from the Space Group! Yesterday we made the trek to the Shira Cave camp. On the way, we met two species of African mice, a dozen brazen white-necked ravens and many endemic plants. An evening of song and dance was held in the camp before dinner. Our Tanzanian team sang to us in Swahili, and we answered them with Katusha. Everyone was satisfied.

We had dinner with borscht with garlic and all sorts of pickles, went to bed early, because the next day there was a long walk ahead.

The morning of March 10 greeted us with a stunning sunrise and fragrant Ethiopian coffee (thoughtfully purchased at the transfer in Addis Ababa). We started at about 9 a.m. in parallel with our friends, the "26 Baku commissars" (a large group of Kenyan climbers).

After 3 hours of climbing, a tea point was set up. An hour later we had lunch near the Lava Tower at 4600.

After lunch, we started to descend towards the camp. The rain scared us at first, but it stopped quickly. On the way, we arranged a photo shoot with incredibly beautiful thickets of senecia. We went down to Barranco's camp almost at 6 pm. Tomorrow we will storm the Barranco Wall. Getting ready - sharpening ice axes, checking platforms (joke). In fact, we are taking a shower (partially) and plan to drink some white at dinner.

Our teams start from Kosovo, which allows us to save at least 1 hour of time and 200 m of drop during the assault.

Today the team will have to go out on the assault, we need to prepare and have a better rest. Guys! We wish the team good luck and keep our fists up for them! We are waiting for further news.

<![CDATA[ The group of the 7 Summits Club "Big Change" passed the Barranco Wall and reached the Karanga camp ]]> http://7summitsclub.com/news/all/item_16784/ Olga Rumyantseva, a guide of the 7 Summits Club, reports from Tanzania:

Greetings from Tanzania from the band Big Change! Today we made an almost heroic crossing of the Barranco Wall. The usually exciting climb was complicated by the fact that it had been raining since six in the morning. We waited for a while, hoping that it would stop. But the rain didn't stop. Therefore, we decided to climb the wall in the rain. Climbing rocks with streams of water flowing over them is not easy. But we did it.

After a small tea party, spiced with rain at the top of the Barranco wall, we continued on our way to the Karanga camp. Still in the rain. Only sometimes, through small gaps, it was possible to notice what beauty was around.

The sun came out in the camp for a while, so we managed to dry things. And after that, a rainstorm with snow fell on the camp and almost washed away the camp.

However, this cataclysm was also survived.

Now we are resting and preparing for the ascent to the summit, which will begin tomorrow evening. While there is an opportunity and good conditions, we check all things, select clothes. Well, we are mentally preparing, of course.
