Today the 7 Summits Club Team "7+7" reached Kibo Hut, a refuge at an altitude of 4700 meters. At night we set out to climb the summit of Kilimanjaro. We got here without rain. But now a thunderstorm has started and it has started snowing again. What can we do...
As for the hunger climb - it continues. It is going well. At night we are going to climb and then descend. I think we will ascend and take off. I looked at the progress of things. I decided that I will fast for 10 days.
]]>
Today the "7+7" team (7 boys and 7 girls) spent half a day resting in the Horombo camp. We walked in the rain to Zebra Rocks. In general, the weather is rainy. But they promise an improvement for the ascent.
About the hunger climb. Everything is great. Lots of strength. Several guys have already decided to fast with me today. So others will get more food.
]]>
The 7 Summits Club team "7+7" today reached the Horombo camp at an altitude of 3800 meters. This is the Marangu route on Kilimanjaro. It is raining, but we are not giving up.
About the hunger climb. I have not eaten for two days. And it is okay. I do not feel like eating. My head is working. I have a lot of strength. It seems that people do not need to eat at all. It is just a bad habit ....
]]>
Today, the 7 Summits Club team on Kilimanjaro called "7+7", in the rain, but cheerfully, climbed to the Mandara Hut camp, at an altitude of 2800 meters. This morning, representatives of the Maasai tribe came to congratulate our girls on March 8. They gave them flowers and jewelry. And then there was dancing. And they even showed how they can make a fire.
Alex Abramov decided to conduct an experiment while climbing Kilimanjaro. To climb hungry, without eating for all 7 days. Follow the experiment. I will only drink water and tea. Place your bets. Will I be able to climb.
There was a celebratory cake in the evening!
]]>
Today a new team of the 7 Summits Club arrived on Kilimanjaro. The group of 13 participants was met at the airport by guide Alexander Abramov. The main goal of the team is to celebrate March 8 and then climb Kilimanjaro. Includes 7 girls and 7 boys. Ideal for the "Seven Summits" program. Let's hope that the mountain and the weather will help us.

18 of the 22 Friends of Oscar and Fedor Konyukhov climbed on the roof of Africa! For many, this was a high-altitude record, and for some, it was their first mountain in their lives. The youngest climber, Pavel Stepanov, is 13 years old. He climbed with his sisters, 15 and 18, under the watchful guidance of his father, Sergey Stepanov. For the daughter and wife of Oscar Konyukhov, this summit was the fourth in their collection.
The mountain was not easy for everyone - we went out in a strong wind, used crampons on the ridge, and on the descent we were covered by snowfall. We got a sea of emotions. Now we have already descended to the Millennium camp. We are resting.
The group's guides are Evgeny Fedyunin and Lyudmila Korobeshko.
]]>
Today, all 22 friends of Oscar and Fedor Konyukhov successfully climbed to the assault camp Kosovo at 4800. In the morning, we did the obligatory exercises and went up in a slender column. On the way, we had to fight strong wind and cold. But we overcame everything. Now we have already had dinner and are going to bed early, since the exit is scheduled for midnight.
Everyone feels well and is determined to storm the highest peak of Africa! Wish us luck!
Guides of the group Evgeny Fedyunin and Lyudmila Korobeshko.

Now we are running for a daily medical checkup (so far everyone's indicators are above normal). Tomorrow we are moving to the Kosovo assault camp and at night - to the summit!
Guides of the group Evgeny Fedyunin and Lyudmila Korobeshko.
This morning we started, as always, with vigorous exercises under the guidance of guide Zhenya Fedyunin at an altitude of 3800. At 8 am we left the camp. And already at 12.30 we reached Lava Tower, where we had a delicious lunch at an altitude of 4600 meters. And then we all went down the picturesque valley, though already in fog and rain, to the Barranco camp under the famous wall, where we will climb tomorrow.
The group's guides are Evgeny Fedyunin and Lyudmila Korobeshko.
]]>
Tomorrow, there will be a difficult march through the Lava Tower (4600) with a descent to the Barranco camp.
By the way, our group has some kind of records - more than half of the participants have visited the North Pole. And we also have a heroic father Sergey Stepanov in our team, who is leading his three children to the summit. We've definitely never had anything like this before.
The group's super guides are Evgeny Fedyunin and Lyudmila Korobeshko.
]]>
At dinner our chef pleased us with delicious fish with avocado, salads and fried potatoes. Yum-yum. Tomorrow we're going up to almost 4000! We're already looking forward to it!
Super guides of the group - Evgeny Fedyunin and Lyudmila Korobeshko.
]]>
Before the gala dinner, the Maasai came to visit us. We had songs and dances with them. And then there was a briefing and a gala evening of acquaintance. We found out how everyone got into the group. Tomorrow morning we are heading out on the Machame route. The mood is fighting.
The group's guides are Evgeny Fedyunin and Lyudmila Korobeshko.

The guide of the 7 Summits Club Evgeny Fedyunin reports from Tanzania:
Jambo Rafiki! Hooray, the summit! The 7 Summits Club "White Masai" group has successfully climbed Uhuru Peak 5895m! For tactical reasons, we divided the team into two subgroups - standard and faster. As a result, both groups quickly climbed to the summit, all together we were there already at 6-50 in the morning!
All participants are great! For many, Kilimanjaro was the first mountain. But I would especially like to note the achievement of the youngest member of our group - Alexander. In addition to everything else, he descended with a local guide into the crater of Kilimanjaro, giving himself an additional birthday present!
Tomorrow we will already be in civilization. We did it!!! Good luck to everyone!
]]>
Jambo Rafiki! The 7 Summits Club "White Masai" group has moved to the Kosovo assault camp at an altitude of 4800 meters. Everything is fine, we are getting ready. Tonight we will climb! Keep your fingers crossed for us!

]]>
Jambo Rafiki! The 7 Summits Club "White Masai" group started the morning with traditional exercises. After breakfast, we had to storm the Barranco Wall, which always scares you at first glance! However, everyone copes with it, which is what we did. The photos and videos show some details.
Then we crossed two valleys under the next daily rain that started and arrived at the Karanga camp at an altitude of 4030 meters by lunchtime. From here, simply stunning views of Kilimanjaro open up!
For dinner, again borscht (!) and spaghetti... After dinner, we rested and prepared for the final push - going to the assault camp and climbing!
Good luck to everyone!

A guide of the 7 Summits Club Evgeny Fedyunin reports from Tanzania:
Jambo Rafiki! The 7 Summits Club "White Masai" group today passed the most difficult part of the trek, the ascent to Lava Tower 4640m and the descent to the Barranco wall to the camp at an altitude of 3900m. Unfortunately, one of the participants caught a bad cold on the 1st day during the rain and today it was decided to stop the ascent for him.
The altitude makes itself felt, there are signs of a headache in other participants, but everything is within normal limits. On the route, a wonderful lunch awaited us at an altitude of 4640 m, with watermelons for dessert. Then we passed through a stunning valley of senecias (grass palms) on the descent, and admired the view of the Barranco wall, which we will climb tomorrow. ALL of this is impressive! At sunset, we first saw the main summit of Kibo, Uhuru Peak 5895m! Our route on the southern circumnavigation is exactly there! Now dinner and a well-deserved rest! Good luck to everyone!

For tactical reasons, we divided the team into two subgroups - standard and faster. We started from the assault camp Kosovo (4800) at 01:00 and at 02:00.
Yesterday, there were so many people who wanted to climb the summit that in order not to freeze in queues on the trail, we had to go around the slope. Before dawn it was quite windy and cold, but very beautiful - a simply stunning view of the Mawenzi volcano opened up.
The mountain did not seem easy to any of the participants. One subgroup reached the summit in 6 hours, the second in 8. All this time Kilimanjaro showed us its character. It was quite cold and windy at the summit - such is Africa!
All participants are great! For many, Kilimanjaro was the first mountain, but I would especially like to note the achievement of the youngest member of our group - Richard. It was not easy for him, but he reached a height of 5200! We are proud and congratulate him!
After the summit, we went down to the Kosovo camp, rested a little and began the descent 1000 m lower to the Millennium camp. Tomorrow we will already be in civilization.
We did it!!! Good luck to everyone!

The whole group is pleasantly surprised by our service! Here we live in large comfortable tents, there is a large dining tent, toilets and even a shower! At sunset, we saw the main summit of Kibo, Uhuru Peak 5895 m! Our route along the southern circumnavigation is exactly there!
Everyone is feeling great, now we will have dinner and discuss the plan for tomorrow.
Good luck to everyone!

The new group (the name is still being discussed) of the 7 Summits Club flew to the foot of Kilimanjaro today to trek and climb the Machame route!
The day flew by with organizational issues, checking equipment and a little relaxation in the park of the cozy hotel "Aishe Machame"! Here turtles crawl on the lawns, toucans fly overhead, monkeys climb trees. And early in the morning, having climbed to the roof, you can see the summit of Kilimanjaro - beauty!
In the evening we watched the "Masai show" - a performance of the nomadic people of Tanzania and Kenya. Over dinner we got to know each other better. Each participant told about himself, and then decided on plans for tomorrow.
Tomorrow we start at the entrance to the national park and set out on the route!
Guides: Evgeniy Fedyunin and Svetlana Kotlyar.
Hello to everyone from Africa! Yesterday, Artem Gurshteyn and I admired the views from the summit of Kilimanjaro at dawn. And that same day, we went down to the gate and arrived at the hotel. It's incredible, but we climbed the mountain in three days! And that's more than 80 km! On the last day, we walked about 40 km, gained one kilometer vertically and lost four. This time, we were finally lucky with the weather. There was a clear sky and no wind.
]]>
Meanwhile, Artem and I, having covered half the world in four planes, burst onto the slopes of Kilimanjaro. Only yesterday we flew to Tanzania from Papua New Guinea, and today we have already reached the Horombo camp. That is, we have gained almost two kilometers vertically in 6.5 hours. Along the way, we took breaks to take pictures of blue monkeys and some animals like tree gophers.
The mood is cheerful, tomorrow we are going to the assault camp.
We join in congratulating Alexander Abramov - 3 highest volcanoes of the continents in 2 weeks! Keep it up!

There was no connection, a hundred thousand sorry! During these two days, the "Chameleons" group of the 7 Summits Club climbed to the Kibo assault camp at 4730 m. On the way there, we had lunch in a beautiful gazebo located in the saddle between Mount Mawenzi at 5145 m and the main summit of the Kilimanjaro massif, Uhuru Peak at 5895 m.
On the night of 6.11, we set out to assault in two groups, an hour apart, and by 8.00 we reunited on the crater in the Gilmans point area at 5685 m.
And by 10 am, our entire friendly team stood at the highest point of Africa, Uhuru Peak at 5895 m in the Kilimanjaro massif! Unfortunately, one girl, due to health reasons, turned back from a height above 5000 m. By evening, tired but happy, we descended to the Horombo camp at 3720 m, where a varied and delicious dinner awaited us.
Happy everyone! Today we go down to the Marangu gate and leave for our favorite hotel Aishe Machame.
Good luck to everyone!
Your super-guides Alexander Abramov and Evgeny Fedyunin.
For Alexander Abramov, this is the third mountain of the "7 Volcanoes in 77 Days" project. The first was Elbrus on October 25. Three volcanoes in 13 days it is a good pace!
]]>
03.11. Jambo Rafiki! The "Chameleons" group of the 7 Summits Club, today passed through the heather thickets of moorland along the eastern slope of Mount Kilimanjaro and climbed to the Horombo camp at 3720m. Almost simultaneously, our group was caught up here by Alexander Abramov, who is doing the "7 volcanoes in 77 days" project in parallel with our program. He has just climbed the 2nd peak of the project – Damavand, and now we are going to Kili together!
The altitude is making itself felt a little, but everyone is feeling well, and so is their appetite. Good luck to everyone!

Kilimanjaro. Our team of the project "7 volcanoes in 77 days" climbed to the Horombo camp 3800 m. The weather is very kind for us so far. There is no rain. There is no wind.
The camp is very comfortable. We live in small houses on beds. The food is very tasty. The team is in a great mood. Today we will watch a film about Everest, which Ilya Gladkikh shot in the spring during our spring expedition.
Today our team does nothing but dance and sing. I love this atmosphere on Kilimanjaro. Thanks to our local team, who make our ascent a holiday.
]]>
After a little sleep, we set off to the next summit. This time - to the highest volcano in Africa, Kilimanjaro!

Today our group in full force climbed the summit of Kilimanjaro. The group was surprisingly strong, so we climbed at a brisk pace. On the way we saw a beautiful sunrise, glaciers, sang songs. And by evening we had already descended to the Millennium camp, where a special climbing dinner awaited us.
]]>
Today our group "Anahata" moved from the Karanga camp to the Barafu camp and then ascended to the assault camp of Kosovo at an altitude of 4850 meters. The weather is consistently good. Everyone feels good. The mood is fighting. We'll go climbing tonight.

Greetings to everyone from Tanzania! Today our group Anahata climbed the Barranco wall. The climb, as usual, was quite emotional. Having climbed up, we drank tea among the clouds and continued our way to the Karanga camp among beautiful landscapes. Tomorrow we will have to go to the assault camp, and then go on the ascent.
]]>
Greetings to everyone from Tanzania from the Anahata group! Today we had a very long day. We crossed the Lava Tower, climbed there to an altitude of 4600 meters.
After lunch, having acclimatized and rested, we left the stone desert and descended to the already familiar altitude of 4000 meters. On the way we passed through a beautiful gorge with amazing senecia plants. We spend the night in the Barranco camp at an altitude of 3960 meters.
All members of the group feel good, the mood is great.
]]>
News from Tanzania. Today, our "Anahata" group made the move to the Shira camp, which is located at an altitude of almost 4,000 meters. The road was very beautiful. We cheerfully climbed up the rocks, not forgetting to admire the views and flowers.
After lunch in the camp, we walked to the observation deck. And when we returned, we had a ceremony to get to know the team. It was, as usual, very cheerful with songs and dances.
]]>
Hello everyone from Tanzania! Yesterday our large and very cheerful group gathered at the foot of Kilimanjaro. And this morning we began our journey to the summit.
At the very beginning of the walk, we came up with a name for the group - Anahata. "Anahata" is the heart chakra. We will open our hearts and receive joy (as much as possible) from this amazing journey.
Today we passed the first stage - through the jungle. We saw black and white colobus monkeys. In the first camp, where we reached today, all the participants were amazed at how comfortable it is.

Alexander Abramov plans to climb the highest volcanoes on all continents in less than 100 days. This will be "Project 99". On October 1, Alexander sets off with a group to climb the Giluwe volcano (Australian continent). And he intends to finish on the Antarctic mountain Mount Sidley in early January 2025.
Good luck, Сaptain!
You can join our leader and take part in a real world record. There are places in almost all groups. And if there is no group, you can join our hero as a fan.
October 1-6. Alex Abramov will lead the 7 Summits Club group to climb Giluwe volcano.
On October 10, Moscow will host an Evening dedicated to the 7 Summits Club's birthday. The President's presence is mandatory.
October 12-13. These days are set aside for climbing Elbrus. The logistics are still unclear. Most likely, there will be an attempt at climbing SUPER BLITZ - 24 hours from the airport and back.
October 17-24. Damavand volcano, it is still unclear what program can be agreed upon with the Iranian host.
November 1-8. The highest volcano in Africa - Kilimanjaro. The 7 Summits Club group climbs the Marangu route.
NEXT - An emergency flight to Mexico. Alexander catches up with the SUPER GIRLS project group
November 7-16. Climbing Orizaba volcano according to the SUPER GIRLS project program!
December 10-24. The first group of the 7 Summits Club season on Ojos del Salado, the highest volcano in the world.
December 27, 2024 - January 10, 2024. New Year in Antarctica. Climbing Mount Sidley.
With ideal completion of all routes, it will take about 95 days from the first summit to the final one.
Alexander Abramov can safely be called the "godfather" of the Seven Volcanoes program. It was the president of the 7 Summits Club who conceived, and our company carried out, the historic 2011 expedition on Mount Sidley. Since the scientific discovery of this highest volcano in Antarctica, no one had been there. As a result of the 2011 ascent, the first people to climb all seven volcanoes appeared. These were the participants of our expedition, the experienced Italian climber Mario Trimeri and the 16-year-old Romanian girl Crina (Coco) Popescu. And this was the real start of the "Seven Volcanoes" program. Russia, represented by our company, is the world leader in the number of climbers who have climbed all seven volcanoes of the project. At the moment, out of 46 who have completed the project, 14 represent our country. There is something to be proud of!
The most important historical photo of the "Seven Volcanoes" project. 2011, at the top of Sidley are standing the expedition leader Alexander Abramov and the first people to climb all "seven volcanoes" Mario and Coco.
