After some morning exercises, we had a breakfast, then went to the second acclimatization climb. This time a bit higher. We planned to rise for 1000 meters. A team of Vikings (four climbers from Norway) have gone on other mountain, more difficult. They use a novelty - in a mouth they hold a special adaptors for high-altitude cough prevention, it heats up the air and makes it more damp.
For three hours we have climbed from 3650 up to 4400 meters. To 3 days we have gone down for lunch to Nyalam.
Today Valery Babanov has unexpectedly arrived in Nyalam. He has left Katmandu two days after us, and quickly appeared in Nyalam, for one day. Valery has told, that in Katmandu a new strike begun, and he only by miracle has slipped up to border. Once they have stopped by Maoists, but were after they have looked that they are tourists.
Today we celebrated birthday of Norwegian Tornbjorna Orkelborg. People limited itself in drink, understanding that ahead of the Everest.
Tomorrow we plan transfer to a new place, the city of Shegar. In Shegar (Xegar) there is very beautiful monastery and quite good hotel.
