About 7 Summits Club

 

"7 Summits Club" is the International Alpine Club for those wishing to climb all Seven Summits.

We organize projects:

-"7 Summits"

-"3 Poles"

-"14 8000m peaks"

-"Snow Leopard" (7000m peaks)

 

 

We have already carried out several successful expeditions:


During the year 2008-2009

North Pole (The last degree) – 9 members reached the pole
North Pole (Flight) – 1 person
Ama Dablam expedition (6856m) – 2 members reached the Top
Islend Peak expedition (6130m) – 4 members reached the Top
McKinley expeditions (6194m) – 4 members reached the Top
Carstensz Pyramid expedition (4884m) - 4 members reached the Top
Ojos del Salado expedition (the highest volcano of the world) – 2 members
Lenin Peak expeditions (7134m) - 5 members reached the Top
Ararat expedition (5131m) - 5 members reached the Top
Turkestan ridge trekking – 7 members
Montblanc expedition (4810m) - 9 members reached the Top
Volcanoes of Ecuador (Cotopaxi - the highest active volcano of the world, the highest volcano of Ecuador; Iliniza Norte) - 9 members successfully climbed the volcanoes.
Aconcagua expeditions (6960m) - 15 members reached the Top
Everest expedition (8848m) - 12 members reached the Top
Vinson Massif expeditions (4897m) - 14 members reached the Top
South Pole (Flight) – 7 members
Kilimanjaro expeditions (5895m) - 28 members reached the Top
Elbrus expeditions (5642m) - 44 members reached the Top

during the year 2003-2007: 16 times within the last 3 years “7 Summits Club” organized Elbrus 5642m expeditions 4 out of them in winter.

135 members successfully reached the Top of Elbrus.

14 times within the last 3 years “7 Summits Club” organized Kilimanjaro 5895m expeditions.

105 members successfully reached the Top of Kilimanjaro 2 times within the last 3 years “7 Summits Club” organized unguided McKinley 6194m expeditions. 22 members successfully reached the Top of McKinley

 5 times within the last 3 years “7 Summits Club” organized Aconcagua 6960 expeditions. 41 members successfully reached the Top of Aconcagua

3 times within the last 3 years “7 Summits Club” organized Everest 8848m expeditions. 31 members successfully reached the Top of Everest

In 2004 and “7 Summits Club” organized Kosciuszko 2228m expedition. 14 members successfully reached the Top of Kosciuszko

13 members of our expedion in the season 2005/2006 successfully climbed Vinson Massif 4897m

We have positive experience in organizing several successful Himalayan expeditions together with Moscow Climbing Federation:


Everest in 2005 (18 members, 13 climbing Sherpas) , 12 members summited


Everest in 2004 (11 members, 3 climbing Sherpas) , 5 members summited


Everest in 2003 (12 members, 3 climbing Sherpas) , 6 members summited

Chairman of Trainers’ Council of Moscow Climbing Federation. Chairman of Moscow Ice-Climbing Committee.


Chairman deputy of Russia Ice-Climbing Committee. Member of the Russian Geographic Society.


Organizer and leader of several famous projects, such as:“7 Summits”, “Land-Rover on Elbrus summit”.


Has been involved in climbing and organization of expeditions and competitions for over 20 years.


For the last 13 years – on professional level.


Up to 1990 had made over 100 ascents of different categories of difficulty. Has many ascents in the mountains of Check Republic, Slovenia, Bulgaria, France, Switzerland, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, USA, Alaska, Argentina, Indonesia, Tanzania, Nepal , Tibet, Australia, New Zealand, Crimea (Ukraine); over 40 winter and summer ascents on Elbrus.

15 December 2005 - Finished "7 summits" programme

2005/2006 Leader of the 3 successful ascents to Vinson Massif (4897m), Antarctica.

2005 Leader of the new one successful expedition to Everest (8848m), Tibet.

2004 Leader of the new one successful expedition to Everest (8848m), Tibet.

Leader of the expedition on Aconcagua(6967m), Argentina.

Leader of the Kosciuszko (2228m) and peak Cook (3800m) expedition Australia,New Zealand.

2003 Leader of the new one successful expedition to Everest (8848m), Tibet.

Leader of the first Russian expedition on Ararat (5137m), Turkey.

2001-2002 Created “7 Summits Club”.

Rock&ice climbing in Europe and Africa.

2000 Leader of the successful expedition to Everest (8848m), Tibet.

1999 Leader of the Cho-Oyu ascent (8201m). China, Tibet.

Leader of the expedition on Kukurtlu (4600m), 6B.

The 3rd place in Russia Championship.

1992 Professional mountain guide in “Pilgrim Tours” tourist company.

Led more then 10 groups of “REI” company (USA) on Elbrus(5642m).

Led 3 groups from Germany and Austria on Korzhenevskoi peak(7105m)

and Kommunizma peak(7495m).

Prepared the first Slovenian expedition to the North Pole

1991 Champion of the USSR in winter class – Svobodnaya Koreya Peak (6A).

Silver prize-winner of Army Championship in high altitude and technical class:

Engels peak, 6510 m (6B)
