The 7 Summits Club super guide Leuan Atabiev reports from Elbrus:

Good evening, friends of the 7 Summits Club. Once again, our club became a participant in the fulfillment of a dream and a path to the realization of the most amazing desires. By the end of the season, a team from Brazil arrived to Elbrus, in a small but significant scale. Our old good and cheerful friend Maximo Kausch, who is a professional in his field and a very experienced climber. He is known for his records of conquering 6000 Andes.

Maximo took on the fulfillment of the dream of one very strong-willed Brazilian, who has been suffering from a severe form of Parkinson's disease for 16 years. He dreamed of climbing the highest point of Europe and, of course, only the appropriate team of the 7 Summits Club is suitable for such a difficult task. And so, after all the successful stages of preparation, accompanied by a physiotherapist and his beloved wife, as well as under the sensitive and coordinated work of the tour leader and guide, on August 31, 2025, overcoming incredible difficulties for himself, Rodrigo Jose Marcio fulfilled his dream and stood on the top of Europe. He showed an example of fortitude and the futility of excuses for his weakness!

Congratulations to the whole team and we are waiting for everyone who is ready to rush to meet their dream! Well, the 7 Summits Club will be a faithful guide to this. In the photographs you will see Nirmal Purja, the famous Nepalese climber, whose group with the 7 Summits Club service climbed in parallel with ours.

Hello everyone from the southern slopes of Elbrus! The Brazilian team "Grade 6" successfully completed acclimatization yesterday, reaching the Pastukhov Rocks. August Elbrus is harsh and beautiful in its own way. The team received many pleasant emotions and successfully descended to the village for a day of rest. Today, August 19, our team climbed to our base camp (refuge). And then, following a meeting of guides, it was decided not to postpone the assault. We decided to take advantage of the weather window, which fortunately falls on tonight. At 3 am, our exciting journey to the summit begins with guests from sunny Brazil!

Finally, our team found the right noun for its name. On Mount Ararat, horses are used to transport goods, and of course, everyone gives way to them. And so, one very large group, which saw our confident move, decided to give way to us. And at that moment their guide shouted: "let the horses go"!

So, after that, our team called itself "Unprecedented pacers". On 08/07/2025, our group in full force climbed to the top of Mount Ararat, 5165 meters high. We walked so fast that we caught the first rays of sunrise already at the top. Congratulations to all the members of the group on overcoming themselves and the difficult slopes of the mountain, I wish them new peaks!

We successfully went from the base camp (3200) to the assault camp (4200) for acclimatization, overcoming the dusty and rocky slope of the mountain. There we were pleasantly surprised to meet the "Super Girls" team descending after a successful ascent. We managed to take a memorable photo against the backdrop of Ararat with the legendary Alexander Abramov.
