Greetings to everyone from the Northern Elbrus region from the "Three from the Lartsa" group! Our team attempted to climb the Eastern summit of Elbrus yesterday. From the very beginning of the ascent we had to fight a strong wind. We reached a height of 5350 meters and were forced to retreat. It was very difficult!

The group of the 7 Summits Club called "Mountain Ladies" began their acclimatization before climbing Elbrus with a walk along the slopes of Mount Cheget. We climbed at a good pace to the "Ai" cafe and managed to go down to the hotel before the precipitation. Hello to everyone from the Northern Elbrus region! On August 7, the group of the 7 Summits Club "SIR VARK" climbed along the route from the north to the Eastern summit of Elbrus. On this day, there was a very strong wind, which prevented part of the team from reaching the summit. One member of the team with the guide climbed to the summit. But in principle, we can say that we were lucky with the weather, since we managed to climb the mountain before the thunderstorm and severe weather.

Having settled, we went to the area of "Refuge of Eleven", where we held classes on the technique of climbing on snowy terrain. All participants showed themselves ready to continue the program.  Greetings to everyone from the Elbrus region! The 7 Summits Club group "Brotherhood of the Ring" today moved to our assault camp, the National Park refuge at an altitude of 3800. Having settled into the trailers, we went to the area of the Refuge of Eleven, where we conducted snow training on the technique of movement and belaying. Now we are resting and preparing for tomorrow, for the rotation to the Pastukhov Rocks.
