Victor Volodin, guide of the 7 Summits Club, from Nepal: Today, very early, at 1.30 am, our team left the base camp to storm Island Peak.  We were lucky with the weather, and at 8.30 we were already at the top. Thank you all so much for your support!

The program and its features

 This is an extremely fast ascent of Mount Everest, in less than 30 days. For such an ascent, it is necessary to have experience of high-altitude ascents. And also to undergo the pharmaceutical and 30-day acclimatization training developed by us in a hypoxic tent.

Today the group of the 7 Summits Club "Mountaineer's Dream" visited the Everest base camp.  It's pretty deserted there, compared to spring. There are no people willing to climb Mount Everest in the fall. Although the weather is good, but it is much colder now than in spring. Good luck to all, and a lot of love!  And not only to the mountains.

Hello everyone from Nepal! Yesterday we moved from Khare in a rush, first to Lukla by helicopter, and in the evening we arrived in Kathmandu. Just a day ago we were at the top of Mera Peak, and now Kathmandu, a hotel, a hot shower and real beds.

Today, those who have the strength left, took a walk around Kathmandu. We went to Swayambuthnath - one of the main attractions of the city, which is also called Monkey Hill.

All the participants are flying home tonight.

It is already almost 5000 meters.  Everyone feels good!

Hello everyone from Nepal We haven't been in touch for the last two days, but there have been a lot of events. First we went up and spent the night in the first camp at an altitude of 5200 meters. The next day we moved to the assault camp at an altitude of 5800 meters. After a short rest at night, our group went out to climb and almost in full force climbed on the top of Mera Peak.

Although we were waiting two days for the weather, but Mera peak didn 't relent. We managed to wait out the strongest winds, but the ascent was a real test. Strong wind and cold, very strong cold became an obstacle on the way to the top. But we have overcome all obstacles.

In the morning we stood on the summit, and in the evening we went down to the village of Khare.

The team of the 7 Summits Club, after spending a night in Phagding, continued along the Khumbu Valley. It's cool in the morning and we're going higher. By evening we reached Namche Bazaar. It gets colder in the evening, autumn makes itself felt.

This morning we almost decided to move to the first camp, but after once again studying the weather forecast and its prospects, we decided not to risk it, but to wait another day.

Every member is ready to wait for the weather to become more favorable.

However, the forecast is improving and tomorrow we will go to the first camp.  And we plan to climb on the Mera Peak November 2. Today we walked around the neighborhood, climbed the local hill with a height of 5200 meters, from where beautiful views open.

Early this morning we arrived in Lukla, it greeted us with the sweet murmur of mountain streams, the gentle ringing of bells on the neck of mules. Olga Rumyantseva, guide of the 7 Summits Club: Hello everyone from Nepal!  From the foot of Mera Peak, where today our team is resting and preparing for the ascent. Early in the morning, as soon as the sun lit up the slopes of the surrounding mountains and warmed the air a little, we went to a lesson where participants learned to climb and descend on a fixed rope on a steep slope. This skill can be very useful to us during the ascent on Mera Peak. After the lesson, we walked around the village. We looked at how they live in other loggias, saw greenhouses where lettuce and cabbage grow.  This is a very strange sight at an altitude of 4900 meters, among snow and cold.

Today we went up to the village of Tagnak. It's hard to call it a village. Rather, several loggias located at an altitude of 4,300 meters. Everyone is in a great mood. In the evening we rest and prepare for the next day – we plan to  reach the village of Khare.

Today, the participants of the ascent of Mera Peak arrived in Kathmandu and began to get acquainted with this amazing country. For most of the participants, this is the first visit to Nepal, so when we finished everything, in the evening we went to one of the most beautiful places in Kathmandu and iconic places in Nepal - the Bodnath Stupa. It is the largest Buddhist stupa in the world, built in the sixth century. Tomorrow morning on the first flight we will fly to Lukla and start trekking towards Mera Peak…

According to the tradition, the awarding of the honorary badge " Everest Summiter" to climbers who climbed the highest peak of the World for the first time in 2021 will take place at the gala evening of the Russian Mountaineering Federation.  This award was invented by Alexander Abramov and he will personally present its.

The annual gala evening of the RMF will take place on November 20.

It will be held at the Palace of Culture of MIIT. Address: Moscow, Novosushchevsky lane, 6 p.1.

In the framework of the gala evening also there will be held:

-  awarding of the Champions of Russia in the high-altitude and high-altitude-technical classes;

-  awarding  of the Champions among veterans;

- presentation of nominees and  awarding of Steel angel Award  for the best women's climbing of the year;

-  presentation of nominees and awarding of the Golden ice axe of Russia 2017 Award for the best climbing achievement of the year.

Rustam Nabiyev only by the power of their hands yesterday, October 2, climbed one of the highest peaks in the world - the eight-thousand-meter Manaslu! The 7 Summits Club took helped the expedition and received thanks from its leader.

Lyudmila Korobeshko:  Joann Chechnev, the leader of this expedition, sent these photos and information about the ascent today. Our 7 Summits Club helped the team with oxygen and  with some advises  before the trip. To be honest, when Joann in our office asked about Manaslu, I thought it was a very adventurous idea. In addition to the fact that Rustam does not have both legs, the guys did not have the experience of eight-thousanders. But they did the impossible! I am proud and admire! Well done!

Alexander, good evening! Yesterday we climbed on the top of Manaslu. The whole team, in full force. Everything went well. Thank you for your support! Rustam did an incredible thing!

Five years ago, Rustam Nabiyev was a paratrooper and served in the city of Omsk. The roof of his barracks collapsed, more than twenty people died on the spot. Rustam lay under the rubble for seven hours, miraculously survived, but lost both legs.

Today, at 7:20, Roman Sudorgin, a member of the 7 Summits Club, climbed the eight-thousandth peak of Manaslu! Roman took part in an expedition organized by our Nepalese partners - the Seven Summits Trek company. As part of the team, he climbed on the top together with two Romanian climbers and four accompanying Sherpa guides. The group is now on the descent. We are waiting for news from the base camp, where there will be good communication.

On September 23, the trail to the top was trampled by the Sherpas of the Seven Summits Trek team. On the 25th, the first group of clients reached the highest point. Roman Sudorgin works as part of the second group of clients. There are now about 200 climbers on the slopes of Manaslu. Among them is a Russian disabled person, Rustam Nabiyev, who has passed acclimatization and now has to go out to storm the summit.

The director of the representative office of the 7 Summits Club in Nepal, a multiple summiter of Mount Everest, Mingma Gelu, received certificates from the Ministry of Tourism of Nepal documenting the fact of the ascent of the climbers of the 7 Summits Club on the highest peak in the World.  Accordingly, he immediately sent it to us in electronic form and sent the originals by mail. So the climbers will receive the document twice, there will be two reasons to remember the glorious events of this spring. When they overcame doubts, fears, anxieties, ailments, fatigue, cold and the dangers of an icefall, they survived and reached the top of Mount Everest. Let's envy them!

 Those who want to receive such certificates for climbing in 2022 should already declare their intentions. The composition of the expedition is already being formed. See the program for next year. The Everest-22 expedition is already beginning. As always, it is headed by Alexander Abramov. The worldfirst in the category of leaders of expeditions to Mount Everest. He has both the largest number of expedition leadership and the largest number of personal ascents on the top among the expedition leaders.

This year's Everest season has been very dramatic. The pandemic, the weather on Mount Everest, the covid outbreak and the lockdown in Nepal, caused a lot of confusion and frayed the nerves of all the expeditions, participants and leaders of the expeditions. More than a hundred Sherpas fell ill and left their jobs. At least half of the participants were ill, coughed, had a fever, and left for treatment. Some came back, some didn't.

The weather was actually unusual for the Everest-Lhotse area. This year, less than half of the participants who bought permits have reached the summit of Mount Everest. And there are only 20 participants on the summit of Lhotse in general.

Now participants of expeditions are trying to fly out of Nepal by export charters. International regular service is completely prohibited.

Congratulations to all those who fought, survived and reached the summit of Mount Everest this year, despite all difficulties and hardships! And I thank all the Sherpas who heroically helped the participants achieve their cherished goal.

On June 1, 2021, the second group of the 7 Summits Club expedition "Everest – Lhotse 2021" climbed on the summit of Mount Everest.

But we managed to hold the strength. The weather after that gave only one and a half fine days, which we took advantage of.
