The team of our Sherpas returned from Tibet to Kathmandu. Now they have to work on storing and preserving the equipment. Meanwhile, on May 29, Nepal celebrated the Day of Mount Everest. On this day, the heroes of the season were honored. And first of all, the record-holders for the number of ascents to the highest mountain of the World. That is, the honors went to Lhakpa Sherpa, member of  expedition of the 7 Summits Club And our syrdar, her brother, Mingma Gelu Sherpa, shot everything on his device.

Today, two groups of the 7 Summits Club  independently made a successful ascent on the Himalayan six-thousander Mera Peak. It was: a group Sasha-Polya-Inna, and also spouses Anna and Alexey Shpak.  In the pictures we see good weather, they were lucky, so they saw the legendary panorama from this mountain…

I did it!  I climbed Lobuche East! Wow… such a mountain!  The average steepness of the snow slope is about 35-45 degrees, and sometimes reaches 50.

The way up took 4 hours 45 min., descent to the camp 2 hours. And return to the village Lobuche seemed never-ending and never succumbed to any dimension...

 On the eve of the ascent, still kneeling in the snow, I earnestly beg the gods of good weather... And gods, stubbornly wanting still to hear anything about the scorching sun and the clear sky, suddenly turned towards me, revealing a truly magnificent, breathtaking views!!!

Our teams take turns climbing to the advanced base camp at 64000m. We breathe oxygen the first night.

 Weather is good. It snows every afternoon. There are already 3 groups of Sergey Kovalev, Volodya Kotlyar, Alexander Abramov and Andrey Mariev. The fourth group will be here tomorrow. It's snowing, it's cold, but we have a great dining room tent with heaters. Now it comfortably accommodates 24 people.

Today we started from Lobuche Village and went to Kala Patthar. We came down from the top to the base camp of Mount Everest. And then we went back to Lobuche almost  for dinner time. We had a long day: work up 20 horizontal km above Lobuche.

Yesterday, April 26, we successfully climbed Dump peak 6015. Here it is also called Tapa Peak. We would not call this  mountain a trekking peak. It was rather hard  with the use of crampons, ropes and harnesses. At some point, we regretted not taking the ice axes. There were even sections of rock climbing at an altitude of 5600-5800. However, we are usually lucky with the route-the rain, the ice, the snow on the waist.

Today in the morning we went down to the village of Marfa at an altitude of 2700.

In General, it was a great trekking with picturesque views of Dhaulagiri and a worthy end of the route-climbing to the Dampus peak!

 April 21. Good evening! Finally, the whole group of climbers on Lobuche and AMA Dablam gathered in Kathmandu. Permits are received and tickets issued! Tomorrow at 6 we fly to Lukla!!!

 April 22nd. Hello everyone! We sit in the aircraft and observe the loading of our cargo. Ready to commit teleportation to Lukla!

 Delay of departure to Lhasa for an indefinite period of time... Tonight in Kathmandu, the plane landed badly, broke the chassis. And now the airport is closed. A crowd of passengers. All flights delayed or cancelled. But we don't give up....

We are pleased to announce that this fall the 7 Summits Club  will organize a unique expedition "Two in one": Everest and Lhotze for one trip. Alexander Abramov held talks with the Nepalese authorities and received "good" from them.  Our Sherpa team is ready to hang fixed ropes through the Khumbu icefall and ensure the safety of climbers. We received good and "safety" option to overcome the icefall, that is, given permission for the transfer by helicopters people and cargo immediately to the camp 2, at the beginning of the Western Cwm.

 We invite to take part in our expedition the boldest and most daring climbers!   It's a rare chance to go down in history. After all, in the fall climbers rarely climb Everest and Lhotse, and these two peaks in one expedition in the fall has not yet been "conquered".

Hello from Nepal! We climbed Kala Patthar and saw a stunning panorama of the Himalayas! The weather in the morning caused some confusion, starless sky and poor visibility. But we decided - let's go! An hour later, the cloud began to settle, and all opened! This is a must see!... We were on Kala Patthar  as not doubting, and on the descent saw the strings of those who love to sleep in! ...

 Hello from Nepal! The group's Harmless Newcomers program is coming to the equator, tomorrow early we will climb Kala Patar.  The forecast is good, it should be clear, and we hope we will be able to get the best views of Everest and nearby giants. Yesterday on the transition in Lobuche we made the obligatory stop at the Memorial to fallen climbers and honored their memory.

 And today there was an exit from Gorak Shep to the Base camp of Everest, the culmination of the program, for which all the participants of our groups come. Everest hid from us in the clouds, but we examined the Base camp thoroughly and tasted coffee in one of the Nepali expeditions, friends of our Namgel.

 Namaste from Kathmandu!  The first group trekking to Everest BC is here. Someone had almost the whole day to enjoy the exotic squares and palaces of the capital and the drilling of the Thamel, someone arrived literally on the flag...  But tomorrow at 6: 15 there will be a flight to Lukla. Early rise in 4.15 was perceived with a little inspiration, but with a great understanding! After all, tomorrow is the start  of that everyone had been waiting for long and to which so prepared.

 Trekking to Everest base camp – what could be simpler? Well, what is there to write? What are the secrets to open in the space, trampled by millions of feet? What unprecedented to put photos of the places where all views captured thousands of times? Yes, winter conditions make this route more freely, and instead of a great number of tourists on the trails there are separate groups. The weather becoming clearer, the air more transparent, the mercury in the thermometer shrinks and creeps down, but the essence consists in the fact that it is the most popular and isogeny route in the Himalayas, remains the same.

 For me, this was the fifth trekking in the Himalayas. I have to admit that the grandiose types I've had the opportunity to see other parts of Nepal, though a gigantic wall of Lhotse-Nuptse live makes a lasting impression, despite the fact that its outlines painfully familiar after hundreds a long time before-seen photos. And the view from Kalapathar is also amazing. We were surprised by the weather, presenting a myriad of crystal clear days without a cloud in the sky day and night. Of course, not without snow, which, it seems, wore an official event, purely for show and filling the statistics of precipitation, which in January, although minimal, but still not zero…

On 2 December, the Federation of mountaineering of Russia (FMR) holds an annual gala evening devoted to summarizing the year. On it, in particular, the President of the 7 Summits Club Alexander Abramov will present a commemorative signs "Everest Climber". Climbers who have ascended to the highest point of the planet in 2017 first time, will receive this award. A list is provided below.

Congratulations to coach and guide of our Club Alexey Lonchinsky with a victory in the championship of Russia on mountaineering and a great climb! We also congratulate his teammate Yuri Koshelenko with the same! Yuri also worked as a guide for our programs. We are proud of our friendship and cooperation with outstanding world-class climbers!

I have long dreamed of going off trek around Dhaulagiri - this is one of the cult mountains, objectively, and for me personally. It has a long and complex history of first ascent, in fact, it is the last conquered eight-thousandth (not including artificially "closed" Shisha Pangma). Many interesting stories are connected with Dhaulagiri, its huge walls are elevated to an incredible relative height, more than Everest, not without reason it was considered for about half a century the highest peak of the world.

 I really wanted to see Dhaulagiri a few years ago, from Muktinath, when I finished the way around Annapurna. But the bad weather did not give a chance to see anything behind the low, swirling clouds. And then I decided that this is a sign. And I have to go to Dhaulagiri.
