The 7 Summits Club super guide Olya Rumyantseva sends from Nepal:
Greetings from Nepal from the "Anahata" group! Today we saw the sunrise with a view of Everest.
To achieve this, we had to wake up in the middle of the night and set out for Kala Pathar, the best viewpoint on our route. It was challenging, cold, and the altitude was taking its toll. Kala Pathar, although a small hill against the backdrop of the snowy giants, is actually 5,645 meters high. But our efforts were fully rewarded with marvelous views of Everest and its neighbors.
We watched the sun color the mountain peaks and bathe the beautiful Pumori in golden sunlight. It was a wonderful morning. After descending, we almost immediately flew by helicopter first to Lukla and then to Kathmandu.
By lunchtime, our entire team had gathered at the Yak and Yeti Hotel, where we enjoyed the blessings of civilization that we often overlook in everyday life.
In the evening, we will have a celebratory dinner. Everyone will receive commemorative awards—medals and diplomas. And then we will begin making plans for next year.

Greetings from Nepal to everyone from the "Anahata" group, who reached Everest Base Camp today and saw Everest up close! Or rather, we saw Everest first, and then reached Base Camp.
It was a very challenging day. First, we reached the village of Gorak Shep, drank tea there, and then headed to Base Camp, admiring the incredible peaks and glacier along the way.
Having reached the treasured stone marking the entrance to Base Camp, we took photos and continued our tour of the camp. We saw where the 7 Summits Club sets up their camp – it's very unusual to see these places without tents – then continued along the glacier to get a good look at the Klumbu Icefall. Incredible beauty surrounded us, and after enjoying the amazing views, we returned to Gorak Shep. In total, it took about seven hours of walking, and everyone was very tired, but it was worth it.

The 7 Summits Club super guide Olya Rumyantseva reports from Nepal:
Greetings to everyone from Nepal from the most energetic Anahata group, heading to Everest! Today we left the autumn landscapes behind and entered a world of big mountains and snow.
This morning, after the obligatory morning exercises, we left the village of Dingboche and headed towards Lobuche, from where we will reach Everest Base Camp tomorrow. The weather continues to be wonderful – blue skies, sunshine, and white mountains. Everyone is, of course, very impressed by the enormous mountains looming above us. With such beautiful views, the journey passes unnoticed.
We even crossed the pass, which looked quite impressive, at a brisk pace. Beyond the pass, we visited the memorial to the fallen climbers, and by lunchtime we arrived in Lobuche, checked into our lodge, and went for a walk.
It's a shame the clouds rolled in by evening, and we missed out on the sunset overlooking Nuptse.
We hope tomorrow we'll be treated to a sunset overlooking Everest.

The 7 Summits Club super guide Olya Rumyantseva sends a message from Nepal:
Greetings to everyone from Nepal from the "Anahata" group, continuing their journey toward Everest! Today we left magical Rivendale and moved from the forest zone into the high mountains to the village of Dingboche, located at an altitude of 4,340 meters. It wasn't a particularly difficult but very beautiful trek. The entire way, we admired the beauty of Ama Dablam, examining the mountain from different angles. More suspension bridges, yaks, and stupas were visible. And as we gained altitude, the green slopes became tinged with the bright red of autumn bushes.
We continue to be amazed and delighted by what we see every day. The village of Dingboche, although located at an altitude of over 4,000 meters, offers tourists very comfortable accommodations (our rooms still have heated sheets) and cafes where you can drink delicious coffee and eat equally delicious pastries. However, the conditions are gradually becoming harsher. This doesn't bother us in the least. How can difficulties be upsetting when the surroundings are so beautiful?

The 7 Summits Club Guide Olya Rumyantseva reports from Nepal:
Greetings from Nepal from the most friendly and cheerful Anahata group! We continue our trek to Everest. Today, we left Namche Bazaar and headed towards Tengboche Monastery.
The weather is still gorgeous, offering unforgettable views. True, Everest was covered in clouds today, but we're not upset; we didn't get to see it yesterday. But Ama Dablam once again graced our entire journey.
In Tengboche, we visited a monastery, after which we continued on to a lodge at an altitude of 3,800 meters with the fairytale name of "Rivendale"—a place where any traveler can find shelter and peace, as mentioned in "The Lord of the Rings." The place is truly cozy with stunning views.
Everyone on our trek never ceases to be amazed by the comfort of the hotels we choose for our groups' overnight stays. I won't even mention the natural beauty. Everything we see every day invariably evokes admiration.
We also met an African guide along the way, who had been with us on Kilimanjaro with the same group a year ago. To the surprised looks of those around us, we sang together a song about Kilimanjaro, "Hakuna Matata."
These are the kinds of unexpected encounters you can have in Nepal.

The 7 Summits Club Super Guide Olya Rumyantseva reports from Nepal:
Greetings from Nepal from the Anahata team! Today, we had a fantastic day near Namche Bazaar. After morning exercises to acclimatize, we headed to the Everest View Hotel. The name didn't disappoint. They started showing us Everest halfway up.
Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and, of course, the most beautiful mountain, Ama Dablam. Upon reaching the hotel, we drank tea overlooking these magnificent peaks, and then continued on to the village of Khumjung.
The snow-capped mountains, the forest already beginning to turn to autumn colors, the Buddhist stupas—all this created such beauty that we wanted to walk and explore forever. In Khumjung, we visited a monastery housing a Yeti scalp. Yeti or not, it was interesting either way.
By lunchtime, we returned to Namche Bazaar, where everyone found something to do.
Some went shopping, some strolled through this unusual town, and some drank coffee in the cafes. Tomorrow we continue our journey to Everest.

Greetings to everyone from Nepal from the Anahata group! Today was the second day of trekking to Everest Base Camp. After breakfast and some exercise, we left our cozy shelter and walked from the village of Phading to Namche Bazaar.
It was a challenging, long, but incredibly beautiful journey through forests, mountains, and waterfalls. We crossed numerous suspension bridges along the way, which left no one indifferent. Despite the challenging route, the significant elevation gain, and the numerous steps up and down, everyone was delighted with what they saw.

Namaste from the group "Tuda-Suda" from Nepal! Today we woke up in the Everest Base Camp. We were carefully fed a delicious breakfast with a view of Everest.
And we ran to the helicopter to fly to Lukla. The weather was favorable to us today, so we were able to look at the path we were walking, the villages where we stayed, and admire the mountain peaks.
Having gathered in Lukla, we had a long wait for the flight to Kathmandu. But in the evening we were already on the plain. At the dinner, our participants were solemnly awarded with memorable certificates and medals.

News from "Abramov's Favorite Group". Today we had a long day. We left early in the morning from Lobuche. The altitude had already let us know, we walked slowly but surely. We reached Gorakshep, where we split up. Some went straight to the base camp, and some to Kalapathar. We climbed Kalapathar and then went to the base camp. Today was a very long and eventful day. At midnight we left Lobuche under the brightly shining stars and sparkling snow-white peaks. We reached Gorak Shep, drank tea, and set out to climb Kala Pathar. The mountain is technically simple, but we still had to make an effort. We walked slowly, met the pink dawn over the top of Everest.
We gathered at the top, took a group photo, and slowly went down.
We drank tea and rested a little in Gorak Shep and set out for Everest Base Camp. We were incredibly lucky with the weather today. The entire panorama of the Himalayan peaks was open to us in all its glory!
At the base camp, we were greeted with champagne and a delicious lunch. All participants coped with today's challenges with dignity. Now we are resting, and we hope for clear weather tomorrow.

Before leaving, we did active exercises in support of the challenge from @alexabramov 100 days / 100 push-ups.
We reached the memorials and honored the memory of those who remained in the mountains forever. We settled down for the night in a lodge in the village of Lobuche at an altitude of 4900 m. At dinner, we congratulated our wonderful participant Vsevolod on his birthday! Everyone tasted the most delicious holiday pie.
Tomorrow will present us with a long, eventful day, so we leave early to watch dreams...

Slowly gained altitude, walking along winding paths to the sounds of the mountain river Imja Kola.
The weather changed, as did our landscapes. At first, we walked a little through the forest, which was replaced by juniper bushes. And after the bright morning sun, a light rain came to us. We walked a little before a hearty dinner, discussed plans for tomorrow.

After lunch we gained a little altitude for acclimatization. The rain interfered with our plans, so the walk in the fog was short. We waited out the precipitation in the monastery. There we also had a puja ceremony. We received a blessing and slowly went down to rest.
Tomorrow we have a day of trek to Dingboche, we gain altitude up to 4310 m.

May 2. The "Tuda-Suda" group had a delicious breakfast and slowly set out towards the legendary Namche Bazaar. We walked through a pine forest, enjoying the scenery. Almost the entire road was paved with stones. After lunch, the weather deteriorated a little, and it started to rain a little.
Having gained 1,000 meters in altitude, we already felt pleasantly tired, and wanted to rest as soon as possible after a long climb.
But in Namche Bazaar, an unpleasant surprise awaited us: there has been no electricity for several days. The power station broke down. No electricity, no Internet... and it was quite cold.
But they were waiting for us here, and provided us with maximum comfort.
May 3. In order not to freeze in the dark Namche Bazaar, we decided to move on to Tengboche to spend a day of rest there. On the way, we admired the incredibly beautiful views. Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Lhotse and other peaks were visible in all their glory through the flying clouds. Blooming rhododendrons pleased the eye, and the smell of the pine forest gave strength. We went to a Buddhist monastery, where the Yeti scalpel is kept.
On the way, we stopped to drink tea and taste delicious desserts. By evening, we settled, as expected, in the best lodge.

For many participants, this was their first mountain experience, and not everyone found the climb easy, but we did it! At 7 am, our entire team was standing at the summit!
We descended to Gorakshep, had breakfast, and headed towards Everest Base Camp — the final point of our program. Today, we reunited with the climbing team, and we missed each other during the day!
All participants, without exception, were shocked by the conditions and service we provide here! Alex Abramov and Viktor Volodin rode into the camp on horses, it was epic! Lena Abramova greeted us with champagne and snacks, and for lunch there was delicious borscht!
In the evening, our trekkers were awarded, we watched films on the plasma, sang songs with a guitar. It was very soulful! Tomorrow we return to Kathmandu.

Today, our huge team split up. Two groups of Everest climbers stayed for one more night in Lobuche for better acclimatization. And we went higher - to the place of Gorakshep, at an altitude of 5100. The views today were just crazy! Nuptse in all its glory! We saw our Everest base camp from afar, where we will be tomorrow!
We have already checked into the lodge. After lunch we want to take a short walk, and early in the morning we will set out to climb Kala Patthar.
