Today, on Monday June 5th, an expedition of climbers on Denali from  the 7 Summits Club  has taken off to Alaska. We wish them good luck! And we will wait for messages already from the Western hemisphere from the head of group, a repeated summiter  on the highest mountain of North America - Lyudmila Korobeshko.

 And several days ago, Lyudmila Korobeshko has read in our Club a lecture about features of climbing the mountain Denali.

Sergey Larin:  Hi,  Seven Summits Club! You can congratulate us - we are in Talkeetna! Coming on the 24th of June in the 12 days of the camp at 5200, at 7 am on June 25, we were in the base camp, at the airport…

Hi Seven Summits! Take the information from Denali. Yesterday, June 16^th, our team has made a depot in the assault camp at 5200. Today we had a day of rest. Tomorrow the plan was a way up. But the outing  is delayed due to bad weather. Due to the poor prognosis. We will wait for the weather, as is often in high-altitude mountaineering.

The state of health of group members is good, as well as mood.

Hello, Seven Summits! Take the information from Denali. Our expedition on Denali goes on, everything is going according to the plan. We arrived on the glacier at 4 pm June 8th. In the morning on June 9 th, we woke up to go to the first camp. And we have successfully done,  9th of June we reached the first camp. It was tough, because we came with a full load. Today we made depot on  the 3000 meters. Now we return to the first camp, and according to the plan we have tomorrow output in the second camp, but now with a lighter load. Next we'll look at the weather and the state of the route. That is, everything goes according to plan, it's okay.  Bye!

Good morning, Seven Summits Club! It is Sergey Larin. Best regards from Alaska! Our expedition on  Denali starts. Today the whole group arrived in Talkeetna. Now you in Moscow  have a morning and we go to bed.

Tomorrow we will have a difficult day of training and, if the weather allows, we have to fly in 15.30 to the glacier Kahiltna. Prior to this, in three days  planes did not fly to the glacier. Today is the first day. After the break, the aircraft departed  and trampled the runway for us.

Today, the whole team is going to meet in Anchorage (Alaska). Tomorrow, June 7, it is scheduled a transfer to Talkeetna. June 8th to the plan the group will fly to the Kahiltna Glacier.

Currently, only 18% of climbers, that completed the program, reached the summit of Denali. Now on the mountain, it is more than 500 climbers. In early June fell "big snow" - about one meter.

Pan Zygmunt climbed McKinley with our team, headed by Ludmila Korobeshko. This is his third peak in the team of 7 Summits Club (after Everest and Vinson). We are proud of friendship with such a person: a prominent politician, businessman, organizer of the largest economic forum and significant Running Festival, a marathon runner, climber, just a man of great culture and a great soul.

Berdychowski Zygmunt was born in 1960 in Krynica Zdroj (Poland) and now faithfully serves his native region. He graduated from the Jagiellonian University, Faculty of Law, was active in Solidarity, was a member of parliament of two convocations, worked in the Ministry of Agriculture. In recent years, Berdychowski engaged in development of the resort of Krynica Zdroj, Economic and Energy Forum and Running Festival.

Hallo! It is Ludmila Korobeshko from the expedition to McKinley.... We are now at the top of Mount McKinley (Denali). All we reached the top. It was very difficult: strong wind, very cold. Several times we would go back. But we did not. We got to the top and now take pictures, make videos, and … call you. And soon ... we will go slowly down. In general, everything is fine. Hooray! We did it!

Hello! This is Ludmila Korobeshko, I report from the expedition on McKinley (Denali). Today, as planned, we went into the assault camp (High camp) at 5200. In general, the weather in the morning was quite cold, but the fixed ropes it was warmer. However, when we reached the ridge leading to the camp, we got a strong wind. We came to the camp almost in a snowstorm, there was nothing to be seen. We walked for a long time, about 9-10 hours. We went out in 10 a.m. and came probably after 7 p.m.
Now we put the camp, sitting in tents. Strong wind, no visibility. While we will watch the weather. It is difficult to have any plans to build. ... But in general everything is fine, all people went into the camp, all are healthy.

Good afternoon! Ludmila Korobeshko reports from the expedition to McKinley. We are now in Camp Ranger, at 4300 ... Today, June 30th, we have a day of rest. Yesterday we nade a depot, as planned in the assault camp. In fact, the day was quite heavy. We woke up early, but it was very cold at night, probably minus twenty. So we decided to wait for the sun, and only 11 a.m. we left the camp. Gone with fixed ropes and a little more along the ridge to Washburn’s Thumb. We returned happy but tired. So today the rest is very logical. In addition, the snow began at night ... We rest, look at weather forecasts and are already preparing for a summit bid. As soon as the window will appear, we will try to go upstairs to the assault camp, well, then, according the weather - on the ascent. All members feel good. Best regards!

In mid-June, the highest peak of North America Mount McKinley (Denali) was conquered by the Russians group composed of: Sergei Dmitriev, Irena Kharazova, Eugene Kravt and Alexander Utvenko. Today, Eugene sent us a selection of photos from the expedition. Mt.McKinley - it's really very, very beautiful place.

Hello! There is Ludmila Korobeshko from the expedition to McKinley. Today we had a day of adventure, so to speak. And the Mount showed to some extent, a difficult character. It all started as usual on the plan, as we planned. At 4 am we went out and walked through Windy Corner, we went to the place of getting a depot. And as we walked quickly and vigorously, we decided to bring our depot even to the Camp Ranger. We dug in it and on the way back, near Windy Corner, a strong wind started ... and also started a blizzard, snow. And all this went on until the camp. With difficulty we have found in this blizzard our camp. We were happy that we managed to do. The weather turned bad and our plans may change, but we have time to spare. Bye!

I boil water. All people are in a good mood, they joke, having fun, it is great weather. Basically, according the plan for tomorrow, we have a day of rest. Half-rest, because in the morning we have to go pick up our depot. And the next day we will have to do depot above - to the camp of rangers. In general, everybody feels great. We are fine, do not worry about us.

Hallo! This is Ludmila Korobeshko from the Kahiltna glacier. Today, June 21th, as planned, we took off from Talkeetna to the Kahiltna Glacier. We were lucky with the weather. Although the forecast was bad with rain or snow, in fact it was much better.

We flew in general, without any troubles, on the glacier. We set up a camp here. Today we will have a little crevasses exercise, then we rest a bit. And by going to night mode of walking, somewhere at 2 am we plan to go to the next camp.

Today, June 20th we are finally altogether, joined by Sigmund Berdychowsky and Andrey Kartushin.
In the morning we were completed our shopping and arrived in Talkeetna to the dinner time. On the way we passed large areas of burnt and even steaming forest. A few days ago there were blazing fires.
In Talkeetna we acquainted with the main sights - Main Street – it is 200 meters long, waterfront Susitna, airfields and TAT office, from where we plan to depart tomorrow Kahiltna Glacier.

Tomorrow we will have a very busy day: at 7 am we go to the office "Alpine Asсents International" (company partner), packing, check the equipment, go to the Rangers for registration and then to the airport for departure. I keep my fingers crossed that the weather allowed to implement his plan.
All participants are cheerful and full of energy to perform feats :)

Today, June 19, almost all members of the expedition on Mac-Kinley gathered in Anchorage:

Alexander Logatchev, Konstantin Lavrentyev, Vlad Lachkarev, Igor Smirnov, Igor Cherkashin, Igor Demyanenko, Jamila Murtazin.

And me, Ludmila Korobeshko.

At night we are waiting for arrival of Sigmund Berdychowski and Andrey Kartushin.

And while all members were presented with team t-shorts and jackets, but hid them until better times. We went to the best brewery Anchorage to know each other better.

Yesterday, the team of Sergey Dmitriev, successfully climbed Mount McKinley gave us conditional relay baton.

We washed this baton in the Karaoke club yesterday and today brought to the brewery.

And this morning, the guys saw a live moose and even filmed it on video ...

A Russian Sports team of members of our Club has just returned to civilization after a successful ascent to the highest peak of North America Mount McKinley (Denali). That means, that happy climbers Sergey Dmitriev, Irena Kharazova, Eugene Kraft and Alexander Utvenko arrived by small plane in Talkeetna. And Sergey has sent us a picture from the summit.

And by this ascent Sergey Dmitriev successfully completed the program Seven Summits! So double hurray for him!

Today Ludmila Korobeshko flew to Alaska. And tomorrow they have to meet in Anchorage. Ludmila go to the Mount McKinley (Denali) with a group of nine climbers.

Sergey Dmitriev (city of Samara 45 years) has already worked as a guide 7 Summits Club. It was in Antarctica.
