Lyudmila Korobeshko, Director of the 7 Summits Club: we returned to Cape town from an Antarctic weekend with a lot of impressions.  We visited the land Of Queen Maud and saw the majestic mountain Ulvetanna.  We visited the real polar explorers from the Russian station Novolazarevskaya and steamed in a real sauna in Antarctica.

And most importantly, we said farewell a team of TRANS-Antarctic rally.

Today, December 1, at the Gala evening of the Russian Federation of Mountaineering were summed up the final results of the season of climbing Everest 2018. Honorary signs "Climber on Everest" were awarded to climbers who for the first time (for themselves) climbed the highest peak of the World, the heroes of this year! Congratulations!

All  Everest summiters and all friends of the 7 Summits Club are once again invited to the Gala evening of the Russian mountaineering Federation on December 1. Gathering of participants from 17: 00, beginning at 18: 00. There, in particular,  it will be awarded  ceremony  of honorary signs "Climber on Everest"  to heroes of the 2018 season.

 And for one of the heroes, Vasily Shakhnovsky, the award has found a few before. In the plane flying to the far South, Alexander Abramov presented this beautiful award to one of our best friends.

 Congratulations!

 Vasily Shakhnovsky went with our leaders to explore the South of Africa and the North of Antarctica.

 In the photos we see how the guide of the 7 Summits Club  Artem Rostovtsev awards  participants of successful ascent on  Carstensz Pyramid  with honorary medals. Among them there are two of our regular participants of travel, who grew up before our eyes in serious climbers - Volodya Belkevich and Kirill Semeshkin. For them, this ascent was the final in the program "Seven Summits". Congratulations, friends! Forward to the Poles and Seven Volcanoes!

Indonesia. Papua. Expedition Carstensz-2018. 

 After a sudden successful summit the day before yesterday, we can only ask the weather to give a second chance - the opportunity to fly early from the base camp down to Timika. Didn't happen yesterday. We waited walking  to the next valley and rest.

Today, all the stars have developed in our favor, even the helicopter pilot took a chance and got a group of turns between the clouds. We were worried, but in the end we are all at the bottom level.

And now we are preparing to celebrate the climb and congratulate new sevensummiters.

Our guide Artem Rostovtsev just called from Papua. He reported that the group, quite by accident, warming up on the fixed ropes, climbed to the top of the Carstensz Pyramid!  Hurray!

The team just this morning flew to the base camp of Carstensz (4200). According to the plan they had to acclimatize tomorrow and only the day after tomorrow to go for summit climb. Well, they are so impatient ... climbed the first day…

 By this ascent Kirill Semeshkin completed the program "Seven Summits".

Hello dears! This is a news online by guide Boris Egorov from the expedition to Carstensz Pyramid. This morning  there was a gorgeous weather and a helicopter promptly brought the whole group back to civilization. But we did not stay in Timika for long, had only to freshen up and immediately went to the capital of the island - Jayapura.  And then we met the ocean, as well as delicious fresh fish and souvenirs. And in the evening we gave the team members medals for climbing the summit of Carstensz Pyramid!

 Guide the 7 Summits Club Boris Egorov from Pyramid Carstensz. We have just descended after a successful climb to the summit  of Carstensz Pyramid. We came to the tents.... On the descent we were soaked by rain... But ... all five members are very happy.

 Tomorrow is scheduled departure to Timika, if the weather allows.

 Good morning from Papuasia! This is  a "Call of the jungle" group and Boris Yegorov, as the guide.  I'm excited to announce that the first group of our team went to base camp! And next, the second group also flies by helicopter to the foot of Carstensz Pyramid.

There is the first summit of the season! On Carstensz Pyramid! We just got information  from Timika that one of our group members, Сurt Myers, has climbed to the top of Carstensz.  According to the plan he was going to go through the jungle and only under in the base camp to meet with our main group. So Сurt flew to Timika a few days ago. But  he failed to start  the trek  - the area was closed because of the guerrillas.

 Together with our local partners Сurt changed the program and flew to the base camp by helicopter. And already our friend successfully climbed to the top of Carstensz Pyramid, yesterday! Congratulations!!!

Nikolai Belonogov from Sakhalin climbed Kilimanjaro in the team of the 7 Summits Club and stood at the peak of Freedom (Uhuru peak, 5 895 m) on October 7, 2018.

 Congratulations to all members with the summit!

 According to Nicholai, everything was fine and he regrets only one thing - that he did not go after climbing with everyone on Safari and Zanzibar.

October 7, 2018 the group of 7 Summits Club was standing on the highest summit of Africa - Kilimanjaro.  The highest point of the array is called Uhuru Peak (5 895 m), which means the peak of Freedom.

Alexander Abramov: the 7 Summits Club announce new expedition "Everest 2019".  This is the 16th our Everest  Expedition led by Alexander Abramov. And I reached the summit nine times, so I want to do the anniversary climb – for 10^Th time!

And there is a rumor that it will be the last his summit Everest climb …

Zorro Avagyan climbed  the highest peak of Africa on September 26th as part of a large group that reached the goal.  And down the valley, the first thing he sent to the 7 Summits Club pictures from his trip. It's nice to see a good mood climbers ascended to this difficult peak, overcome the route, requiring endurance and patience…

Today, September 14, the group "Brunin and the Company" climbed the West summit of Elbrus.  In fact, without Brunin himself, but in good mood! All went down and are happy with the results.

Hello everyone from the Western summit of Elbrus from the Extreme team! Today, at 08.00 am, we stood on the top! Feeling was great, the weather is more or less, the guys are tired, but very happy! Now we have gone down to the hotel Povorot,  all is well.

Viktor Ershov, guide of the 7 Summits Club: Hello from Elbrus! The team "Elbrus leopards" lived up to its name, and today at 10.00 am climbed to the Western summit of Elbrus! The weather was sunny, a bit of clouds and wind on top, but warm enough.  We went down to the shelter National Park and decided to relax here, and only tomorrow morning to go down to the hotel. Everyone is very tired and very happy! There was a guide Viktor Ershov.

Andrey Berezin, the 7 Summits Club guide: Summit! (Summits!!) Group "Lazy lynx, creeping to the goal" climbed the West summit of Elbrus.  And three members of the group climbed also the Eastern summit.  That's how we said goodbye to this summer!

Sergey Avtomonov, guide of the 7 Summits Club: a group of Noel Hannah climbed the Western  summit of Mount Elbrus.  All participants have reached the top, everyone is happy and everyone wants down!

Group Blitz "Snow White and six dwarfs" successfully climbed to the top of  Mount Elbrus. We walked in two small groups. The weather was great, everyone is happy - all deserve  awards!

Today, the group "Vegetable salad with tuna" reached  the Western peak of  Mount Elbrus.  And Alena Gloss climbed  also to the Eastern summit of Elbrus.  So she celebrated her birthday!

Today, at 10 am, Elbrus let me be on its top! Tomorrow I will write a detailed post, but for now just tell the giant thanks for the good weather!
