Today, a group called the Magnificent Seven visited AI cafe, a famous place on Cheget. Reak spring weather pleased us. We saw such famous peaks as Donguzorun and Nakra, and of course, Mount Elbrus.

Today our group made the first acclimatization rotation on slopes of Cheget, to cafe AI.  We well walked, I and members are happy with the day.

Hello, from Sunny Elbrus region! The first day of acclimatization is over. The path to the waterfall of Maiden Braids was very picturesque. Excellent weather and mood accompanied us!  What we wish all! Sergei Semykin's Group.

Our teams take turns climbing to the advanced base camp at 64000m. We breathe oxygen the first night.

 Weather is good. It snows every afternoon. There are already 3 groups of Sergey Kovalev, Volodya Kotlyar, Alexander Abramov and Andrey Mariev. The fourth group will be here tomorrow. It's snowing, it's cold, but we have a great dining room tent with heaters. Now it comfortably accommodates 24 people.

  Today in the Base Camp of Mount Everest there was a Puja, a ceremony of consecration of the camp. All participants got dirty by local flour tsampa and was very pleased.

The first group today went to the Middle camp at 5800m for overnight. And tomorrow they plan to go up to the camp ABC 6400m and spend 2 nights there. 

Tomorrow and the second group goes up, and the day after tomorrow-the – third group. Each group has 10 members with guides.

From the diary of Dmitry Ermakov, a guide of 7 Summits Club:

... yesterday, along with the opening of the bar, two massage tents were opened. Abramov hired masseuses from Tibet and now there is a turn for their service. Massage on 5200, whom going to tell, not believe.

In the evening there was a traditional hike to the bar, for coffee and mulled wine, and evening cinema show…

News from the Everest base camp 2018 from our luxury camp.

The day was warm. Later it's snowing. Fantastic food. All in shock. Elena led a Yoga class this morning.

Tomorrow a group of Kotlyar and Kovalev goes to the camp ABC.

The next day I will go with Dima (Ermakov) and 8 people are following in their footsteps. The day after tomorrow - Andrei Mariev, Sergei Larin and 8 more people.

We slept all with oxygen for the first night. Everyone slept great.

Today we opened two massage rooms with the masseuse, the inhabitants of Tibet. Today was the opening of the bar. And going to Rongbuk. All members and guides are happy and proud that we have the best camp on Everest for all 60 years of development of Everest.

The second group arrived in the base camp in full. At the same time Alexander Abramov conducted a direct report on his Facebook page…

Weather was cloudy, at night it snowed, which successfully melted during the day. Now the entire expedition is in the base camp. It has 24 members (22 – Russian, 1 – Polish and Lhakpa Sherpa), 10 guides,  35 high-altitude Sherpas, 3 – movie crew.

Two groups of our expedition to Everest under the leadership of Alexander Abramov met in the Tibetan city of Shegar. Today there will be another acclimatization exit. And our base camp is waiting!  All members are under strict medical supervision. So far, no deviations from the plan, all people are full of energy and desire to test himself at the highest mountain of the world.

Expedition Everest 2018. Day 5. Yet the most memorable day of the expedition. But first things first. In the morning we woke up, ate, were going to go the airport. But Alex Abramov said that at the airport there was an  accident, the plane either rolled out of the lane, or broke the chassis and now all flights are postponed. But we decided to try the chance, went to the airport. This is a Zombieland simply, several thousands of people, there is no information. We went back to the hotel. Once we arrived at the hotel - it is reported that it seems to have opened the airport, we are back there. Wild queues everywhere, at the entrance, at check-in to passport control. As a result, after going through all the circles of the airport, were in a waiting room. Planes fly, but our flight is delayed. And we were waiting 4 hours in a row. But finally around 5pm we arrived in Lhasa. Everyone is happy, in a pleasant shock from the hotel. And there we met our first band again. Crouch and sleep…

Artem Rostovtsev, guide of the 7 Summits Club: Lhasa – a city of one million at the height of 3700 m. The last 10 years, the city adds something like 50 thousand people annually. All the newcomers are Chinese. The infrastructure is ready to accommodate 1.5 times more, and they do not stop there - they are being built and improved.

 As a benefit, there is a new useful health and time of deployment. The platform in the sphere of interest was quickly found, acclimatization is only to help, several times were able to work with your hands against gravity.

Tomorrow morning we allowed ourselves to run before a long running break, but a little, 20 minutes, and not fast. Still, the height is about 3700 m.

 Delay of departure to Lhasa for an indefinite period of time... Tonight in Kathmandu, the plane landed badly, broke the chassis. And now the airport is closed. A crowd of passengers. All flights delayed or cancelled. But we don't give up....

Vladimir Kotlyar, a guide of the 7 Summits Club: the vanguard of the expedition of the 7 Summits Club on Everest has arrived in the capital of Tibet, Lhasa. The height is already being felt, 3600 m))).  We settled in a very chic hotel! Thanks the captain!

We are pleased to announce that this fall the 7 Summits Club  will organize a unique expedition "Two in one": Everest and Lhotze for one trip. Alexander Abramov held talks with the Nepalese authorities and received "good" from them.  Our Sherpa team is ready to hang fixed ropes through the Khumbu icefall and ensure the safety of climbers. We received good and "safety" option to overcome the icefall, that is, given permission for the transfer by helicopters people and cargo immediately to the camp 2, at the beginning of the Western Cwm.

 We invite to take part in our expedition the boldest and most daring climbers!   It's a rare chance to go down in history. After all, in the fall climbers rarely climb Everest and Lhotse, and these two peaks in one expedition in the fall has not yet been "conquered".

April 15^th the International women's expedition to the North pole, which includes our Olya Rumyantseva, flew from Spitsbergen to the base (ice camp) Barneo.  Despite the difficult flight, the girls did not stay long at the base and on the same day went on the road. On the first day it was passed 10 kilometers. The outside temperature of the tents was around minus 38 degrees.

The construction of the base camp continues. Now Sherpas equip public tents, among which as a  novelty will be a bar. Meanwhile, the members begin to gather in Kathmandu. As well as guides…

Who hasn't been to Kilimanjaro yet? All the Sherpas of the 7 Summits Club came in the base camp of Mount Everest 2018. We see a lot of cargo and trucks. Here we could also see the manager of the base camp and the future bartender Lena Abramova.

On the fifth day, the Sherpas started assembling of frame tents for clients.

Comfortable accommodation of our members in a refuge during the programs of the 7 Summits Club on Elbrus – one of the priorities of our organization.
