November 4th, National Unity Day, the team of  the 7 Summits Club climbed the highest peak of the continent Australia mountain Pyramid Carstensz. Guides: Alexander Abramov and Lyudmila Korobeshko. Participants: Tatiana Jalovchak, Alexey Balakin, Igor Pokhvalin, Oleg Savchenko, Vadim Frolov...

Message from Alexander Abramov:

Hello! This is Abramov Alexander, Irian Jaya, Papua, Pyramid Carstensz. Today our team made the ascent on the Pyramid of Carstensz. All seven people. Including among us:

- the first Belarusian to reach the Pyramid Carstensz – Vadim Frolov;

- the first Deputy of the State Duma Oleg Savchenko;

- the first Ukrainian woman who is going to finish the "seven summits" - Tatiana Jalovchak;

- the first inhabitant of Kovrov – Alexey Balakin;

-  first Ukrainian climber who climbed all "seven summits" without Carstensz, who is now also finished with the Pyramid Carstensz, but already being a citizen of Russia - Igor Pokhvalin;

- well, actually, Abramov Alexander, for the fifth time;

- Lyudmila Korobeshko, for the third time ...

In General, each of us was first in something. ... everything is fine. Of course, with the weather we were lucky. The weather is fair, we flew by helicopter. Until we saw no guerrillas, which are said to be located across two valleys from us.

I mean, we're all fine. The first part went down after 12 hours on climb, the second -after 13. On the top we went up seven and a half hours.

That is, everything was fine, "mountain of the mists" at the end on the descent fresh us with some rain.

Well, OK, now we sit waiting for our departure home.

We want to go to .... in Wamena. And spend an unforgettable party in Bali.

Here we have a cool program. We are all very pleased, we have a gorgeous camp. Tents are not wet at all. This is unique to this country, because here constantly pour rains. Well, bye!

Hello! This is Lyudmila Korobeshko from the expedition on Carstensz. Now I am at the base camp of the Pyramid Carstensz at 4200. Here I have arrived with one Indonesian friend early yesterday morning, specifically to prepare everything for the arrival of the group. We set up tents, set up a camp. So the expedition to  Carstensz seria-2 starts. We arrived at 8 people in Bali. Under the guidance of Lyudmila Korobeshko and Alexander Abramov. And then we met our group-1, which yesterday returned to Bali from Carstensz, under the leadership of Artem Rostovtsev. We are resting and remembering what happened. Group members were not allowed to hike through the jungle, as the military said that in the jungle is unsafe. And so they flew in a helicopter. And rightly so. As somebody said, in the area of Carstensz yesterday there were shot a car with police from machine guns. Tonight we will fly to Timika. In the lair of the Papuans

Lyudmila Korobeshko from Papua: Today Oct 30, I arrived at Timika on the island of Papua New Guinea after a short preparatory phase on Bali.

All day I with local guides bought food (a supplement to previously purchased delicacies in Bali), carefully weighed and packaged equipment. Tomorrow the helicopter promised to take 350 kilos. Alex Abramov insisted that we have brought an oak table and chairs. "There's got to be at the highest level!"

In the evening we visited the migration service. I was photographed on a red background and I have a subscription that I'm on the good will go to the lair of the Papuans. And I agree not to come closer than 5 km to secret American mine and not to ask for help in any case.

I go to bed, tomorrow at 4.45 departure to the airport. I and a cook will fly 2 days earlier, we will make a camp.

Here is Papua. Yesterday morning we failed to fly from the mountain. We walked around the area, doing local studies. Today the day began in Timika. In the morning we had a breakfast at the hotel, then arrived at the airport. We waited for our departure of the helicopter, waited for a long time... then flew. According to the forecast we knew that today is the last day of good weather ... and we decided to climb to the top immediately ...

Not to stand in the night, not get wet in the rain. The result: at 2:20 we reached the summit and descended. And now we celebrate our success. Everyone is feeling great. The Chinese delegation, which is here, came... congratulated us ....

The 7 Summits Club started the development and production of medals for ascents on each of “the 7 summits”. Today there was the first presentation of the medal for climbing Kilimanjaro. And practicing the ceremony of awarding the medals. Medals are awarded in a festive atmosphere by dressing on the neck of each participant. Medals are only given to the summit climbers. Its will be  not sold and not given. To every coin is issued a certificate signed by the guide. At presentation of the medal women made curtsey and kiss a guide. Men stand a thank-you on one knee. These rules must be explained by the guides prior to delivery. The certificate must be completed and signed by the guide.

Rainy greetings from Papua! We are again in Timika. In short, we flew to Sugapa, and then are unable to overcome obstacles in the form of representatives of the tribe of Moni on the way to the jungle. Some time groups of tourists weren't there, and, perhaps, some time, still will not. We spent the night in a police station  and in the morning were evacuated at the first opportunity. We'll go the other routes planned tomorrow to fly to the base camp under a Pyramid Carstenz by helicopter.

Artem Rostovtsev, guide of  the 7 Summits Club: Hi, 7 summits! A group of Papua-Carstensz gathered in Timika. Today I met the team at the airport, they checked in, slept off. All you need to navigate to mountain attended. We checked with the immigration service, the first step to getting a residence permit. Tomorrow finally we leave this bastion of civilization and go to the Papuan jungle. In the morning we depart for the array, which dominated by Pyramid Carstensz, and will slowly stomping around 5-6 days and we'll be under the mountain.

October 20, Friday, the 7 Summits Club celebrated its 10th anniversary in the restaurant "Korchma Taras Bulba", at our friend Yuri Beloyvan. The evening passed very quickly and we can't believe we had so much to hear and see. Thank you friends who came to congratulate us! Thanks to those who sent greetings to other types of communication! On 10th October a group of the 7 summits Club climbed to the summit of Kilimanjaro. It was a trio: Mikhail Stepanov, Sergey Laptev and Yury Zozulya.

The climb was not very easy, but  guys did it! The weather helped as it could...

Congratulations! The team is now thinking where to go next.

Immediately 2 groups of the 7 Summits Club performed a successful ascent on the roof of Africa - Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 m).

11 participants out of 12 climbed to the highest point of the massif, which is called the Uhuru peak (which means "freedom" in Swahili). And one another of our climbers was able to climb to the edge of the crater to the key height of Stella Point.
