Chile sends greetings! This is the "Stop" team. Today we had training with iron, learned to distinguish a jumar from a descender, went training, studied. Tonight we start for the summit climb, our Day X has arrived.  Guides Alexander Abramov and Alexander Dorojukov.

Hola! Greetings to everyone from Mexico from the "Feathered Serpent Quetzalcoatli" group! Today we successfully climbed to the top of La Malinche (4440). This is also a volcano, like almost all the mountains in Mexico. A lot has changed here recently. So at the entrance, where the route begins, there is a queue and everyone is given a bracelet like "all inclusive". The paths have been widened and cleaned. The police are on duty everywhere. On weekends, a lot of people go to the mountain.

But all this did not stop us from enjoying the beautiful views of the pine forest and the surrounding mountains. We climbed to the summit in 5 hours, and descended in 2.5.

Tomorrow we are moving to the Orizaba Base Camp at an altitude of 4200.

Our motto is "venceremos!"

Hola! Greetings to everyone from Mexico! From the group "Feathered Serpent Quetzalcoatl".

Today we visited the famous Pyramids of the Moon and the Sun, which in fact turned out to be the very ancient city of Teotihuacan, which arose in the 2nd century BC. More than 250,000 people lived here then. But in the 7th century, for an unknown reason, people disappeared, and the city was abandoned.

 After the excursion, we went to a very authentic restaurant in a cave, where we tried exotic Mexican dishes - ant eggs, fried grasshoppers, meat with cacti. We figured out the difference between mescal and tequila, tried to remember the many types of cacti. Tired, we went to the hacienda under our tomorrow's mountain La Malinche. Here we went to bed early - tomorrow early in the morning to the first mountain. Our motto: "venceremos!"

Chile sends greetings! The "Stop" team is in touch. Yesterday we returned from the city of Capiapo, where we spent the night and had a good rest. Today the group had the main acclimatization rotation. We climbed to an altitude of 6300 meters. The weather is good, the people are fine, everything is going according to plan. Tomorrow is a rest day, during which we will conduct classes with iron on mountaineering techniques. And at night we go to the mountain! The forecast promises good weather.

Greetings to everyone from Mexico! From a partially arrived group. Participants were flying in all day, starting at 5 am. With some of those who successfully arrived, we took a walk around the historic center of Mexico City, drowning in garlands and New Year's decorations. We looked at the Orizaba House and the Palace of Fine Arts, walked past a skyscraper (once the tallest in Latin America), visited the largest square in Latin America, Zocalo. Late in the evening, we had dinner, which was joined by two more participants who arrived - Carolina and Yuri Lukyanov. Yuri has one volcano left before the completion of the 7 Volcanoes project. Now we are still waiting for one more participant by midnight - and we are all together. Tomorrow morning we are leaving for the famous pyramids of the Moon and the Sun!

Today the team "7 Volcanoes in 70 Days" climbed to the top of San Francisco, height 6016 m. As an acclimatization for Ojos del Salado. There was a crazy wind. According to the forecast, tomorrow it will be even stronger. But we have a day of rest planned.

Chile sends greetings! The group of climbers to Ojos del Salado from the 7 Summits Club has decided on a name – it is "Stop". Today our gang-team climbed to the top of the San Francisco volcano. The height is 6016 meters. There was a decent wind blowing, so we walked with our backpacks forward. Everything is great with us, we continue working!

The "7 Volcanoes in 70 Days" team had a rest day today. We went to the San Francisco Pass at 4700 m. We saw herds of guanacos. We bathed in hot springs. The day was a success. Tomorrow we climb the San Francisco summit at 6016 m. The team feels great!

Chile is in touch! According to the program, today we walked along the slopes of Ojos. Our captain joined us, now we have plus 50 to our speed. Today we climbed to the height of Elbrus. There was a light breeze and the sun was shining. We continue to work further.

Today was a great day. Acclimatization. The team climbed the slopes of Ojos to the height of Elbrus - 5642 meters. We drove along beautiful and difficult roads. The wind was not strong. Tomorrow is a day of rest.

Chile is in touch! Today we had a magical day. We went to hot springs with cool views, rode along the river, swam in everything that came across along the way. Overall, the day was great. Tomorrow we will be walking along the slopes of Ojos del Salado.

 The "7 Volcanoes in 70 Days" team flew from Santiago to the city of Copiapo on the Pacific coast. Here we did some shopping for the camp, absolutely necessary things: two sofas for the dining room, a green carpet "Grass" and many different useful things. And then we went through the beautiful Atacama Desert. On the way, we stopped to look at the ancient copper mines. See the photos. And we stopped at Laguna Rosa, where there are a lot of flamingos. We are going further, to the base camp Laguna Verde at an altitude of 4300 meters. And on the way, we are filming the 6th episode of the film "7 Volcanoes in 70 Days", because Ojos del Salado is our 6th volcano in the record project. By the way, the weather is very windy so far. At the top it's 50-60 km per hour.

The team of the project "7 volcanoes in 70 days" consisting of Alexander Abramov and Ilya Gladkikh arrived in the capital of Chile, Santiago. The goal is the sixth peak of our record, the highest volcano in the world, Mount Ojos del Salado, located in the Atacama Desert. In the meantime, there was a little time to get acquainted with the capital city. To do this, as befits climbers, we climbed the highest point of the city, Mount San Cristobal, 850 meters high. Santiago, like all Latin American cities, amazes and pleases with its original architecture and bright colors.

Chile in touch! Today our group had a day of moving to our base camp. As always, the road pleased us with beautiful panoramic views of the Atacama Desert. We are even closer to our goal! The base camp was prepared to meet the group, pleased the participants with comfort and the food offered.

Chile in touch! Today we had an acclimatization ascent to the summit of Laguna, the height of which is 4800 meters. The team of the project "7 Volcanoes in 77 Days" flies to Chile. To climb the 6th volcano - Ojos del Salado. This is the highest volcano in the world at 6864 meters. Having shortened the project deadline by climbing Elbrus in winter, we renamed it "7 Volcanoes in 70 Days".

Chile is in touch! We left for the Atacama Desert, started our program according to plan. Along the most beautiful road we stopped at Laguna Rossa, where we admired the flamingos. Then we moved to Laguna Negro Francisco. There are wilder places here and it is very beautiful.

 Chile on the line! Today the entire group gathered in Bahia Ingles, our aim is to climb Mount Ojos del Salado. We checked into a hotel by the ocean, walked around the area, and got to know each other. Many of our participants are planning to complete the Seven Volcanoes program this year. We're keeping our fingers crossed for them!

Hello everyone from Chile! As was said earlier, the season is starting. First of all, this is preparing the camp, purchasing food and everything else. Today, the first participants of our cheerful team arrived. Tomorrow, everyone else will arrive and - on their way to new peaks and adventures!

Good news from the Elbrus region. Elbrus is ours!

Today, December 9, Alexander Abramov and Lyudmila Korobeshko made a winter ascent of Elbrus as part of the project "7 volcanoes in 77 days". But first, a sensation! The counter of the number of climbers fell from the top of Elbrus. Probably, from the new year they will install a new "zeroed" one.

This is the fifth mountain of our project. The ascent of Elbrus on October 24 was counted as a training one. Now the project 7 volcanoes - "who is faster" officially begins with the ascent of Damavand on October 31. It is realistic to do it in 70 days.

Oh! It will not be possible to run across Damavand, as our team of the 7 Summits Club starts climbing Ojos del Salado tomorrow. We need to fly to Chile urgently. This will be the sixth mountain of the project "7 volcanoes in 77 days".

President of the 7 Summits Club Alexander Abramov reports from the slopes of Elbrus:

The team has climbed to the refuge. At night, the summit will be stormed. The weather is not bad. It is minus 30 at the summit.

We reached Refuge of 11 for acclimatization. We met the record holder of Elbrus for the fastest ascent, Vitaly Shkel.
