Greetings from Iran! Our team continues the process of acclimatization, getting closer and closer to the Damavand. Today we have studied the infrastructure of the local ski resort Tochal (And yes! There are ski resorts in Iran). We took the cable car to the Tochal pass up to 3700 m, then went down on it to our hotel at 3600 m.

We rested a little and continued acclimatization, climbed to the top of Mount Shah Neshin (3900), checked the equipment. At the summit, we launched a kite (a record application from Viktor Alexandrov), met a local fox cub.

Before dinner, we conducted a breathing practice and fixed acclimatization. We discussed our plans for tomorrow and finished the day with backgammon and chess games. Friendship won, of course!

Greetings to all from hot Persia! So our summer season has started on Damavand. Today we met our first group, an already well-coordinated team. Most of the members have climbed Elbrus and Kilimanjaro together before.

The day turned out to be eventful and full of impressions. The acquaintance with Tehran began with a tasting of a local traditional dish - dizi. The most famous restaurant is located in the Grand Bazaar area in a historic building where the very first bank in Iran used to be.

A shared photo with the owner of the restaurant is attached. Of course, we visited Golestan, reviewed all the shah's palaces of the Qajar era, the tombstone of the last Shah, copies of thrones, the diamond hall, gifts of the shah, for which a separate building was built.

We were introduced to Tehran by the beautiful Maryam, professor of the Russian language department at the university and an expert in local history.

The evening and the welcome dinner were held in the panoramic revolving restaurant of the Milad TV tower with a view of the evening sparkling Tehran.

We discussed all the details of tomorrow and, of course, congratulated Viktor Alexandrov on his birthday! We are very glad that he decided to spend his BD with us!

Hello! Today our supergroup "Real Group" made an ascent on Mount Elbrus. It was a day that we will remember for a long time. Elbrus tested us not for strength, but for accuracy. In the first part of our journey, we moved like blind kittens. But experience and a powerful flashlight did their job, we went to the Saddle between the two Summits. After a short rest and a light snack, we continued on our way and in an hour and a half reached the highest point, the Western peak of Mount Elbrus.

 Today, on June 12, our super group "Real Group" made its first exit to a serious height. Our goal was the Pastukhov Rocks and we reached it. The weather tested us for strength, it was windy and sometimes snowy. But despite the difficulty, the goal was achieved! Now it's a day of rest and a start to the ascent. The group is charged to win!

Greetings from the slopes of snow-white Elbrus! Today our group went up to our comfortable assault camp – refuge National park (3800m.), where we continued our acclimatization. After accommodation, and tea drinking, we went to the Refuge of Eleven, where snow classes were held. We have worked out the skills of self-arrest using an ice axe, as well as moving up a snowy slope, traversing the slope, and descending. Tomorrow we have a rotation to the Pastukhov Rocks.

Greetings from the Ugolki group! Yesterday we made a good and fun ascent on Mount Elbrus. The weather was gorgeous, we went well. It was even hot on the descent, the arrival of summer is felt.

News of the Elbrus region. The group "Antistress" in full force climbed the Western peak of Elbrus 5642. The weather was unusually clear and sunny. At night we saw the lights of the ports of Georgia, at dawn we saw the shadow of Elbrus. And from the summit there were views of the peaks of the Caucasian Mineral Waters region.

Today our group "Fierce" made a successful ascent on the Western peak of Elbrus (5642m.) In a good mood and in excellent weather. The condition of the group is excellent.

Hello everyone!  The "Congo" group of the 7 Summits Club has successfully climbed the Western Peak of Elbrus 5642m! Natalia, a member of the group, realized her extreme dream on her birthday!

Sometimes believing, sometimes not believing in herself, she did not accept congratulations during the entire ascent, right up to the descent to the refuge.  Later, we awarded all participants with honorary badges and diplomas.

Three groups of the 7 Summits Club gathered today on the slopes of Elbrus to conduct training on the technique of movement on a snowy surface.  Group guides: Andrey Berezin, Alexander Dorojukov and Dmitry Semenov. The weather in the region remains unstable, there is a lot of snow on the slopes of Elbrus.  Everything is going according to plan, tomorrow the groups will continue acclimatization.

Greetings from the Elbrus region, from the group "Fierce"! Today was our first acclimatization day. We went up the picturesque forest path to the Ai Cafe (2700m.) On our way we saw a magnificent thicket of flowering rhododendron. The weather allowed us to walk without rain, which is a rarity lately. Tomorrow we leave for our assault camp, where the second, high-altitude part of acclimatization will take place.

Hello!  The Сongo group of the 7 Summits Club made for acclimatization rotation to the Pastukhov Rocks, up to a height of 4800 meters. The weather mocked us during the ascent. And when we went back down to 4,000, Elbrus finally opened up and smiled after us. Tomorrow we have rest and preparation for the summit assault! All the weather and good luck!

News of the Elbrus region.  Yesterday, 02.06, our group climbed the summit of Elbrus, thereby achieving the goal of the program.  About the weather: the forecast came true completely, with a small feathering - the clouds covered an hour earlier, and we were standing at the top in the "milk". But this did not prevent us from rejoicing at the top.

Greetings from the KAZBrus group from the Elbrus region! Today we have reached our goal, climbed to the highest point in Europe. In the evening, the weather both scared and pleased us, as well as throughout the entire ascent. Half of the way there was with beautiful views, and the second part was with snow and wind. But we did it!

Greetings to all from the Elbrus region! The new group "Congo" of the 7 Summits Club has entered the primary acclimatization on the slopes of Cheget. We visited the famous cafe "Ai", tasted local goodies… On the positive side, we went down, rented the missing equipment. Rest now!

News of the Elbrus region. The group "El Gol" spent the first night at an altitude of 3900 m, in the morning everyone felt fine and efficient. This was confirmed during the acclimatization rotation to the Pastukhov Rocks. During the ascent, which took 4 hours, the weather changed a lot: if there was both sun and heat at the bottom, then a blizzard and wind met us on the rocks. And when we went down to the camp, the weather was already fine. Only 700 meters difference, and how the climate is changing. Tomorrow is a well-deserved rest before climbing the summit of Elbrus.

Two groups of the 7 Summits Club continue to prepare for the ascent on Elbrus. Today, on May 30, they climbed the slopes of Elbrus and held training sessions on the technique of climbin on snow and ice. Guides Andrey Berezin and Alexander Dorojukov.

Two groups of the 7 Summits Club began their acclimatization on the slopes of Mount Cheget.  Guides Andrey Berezin and Alexander Dorojukov.  It was raining quite heavily in the morning, so the groups left late. Then the weather pleased us: the sun, a light breeze. We enjoyed the surrounding views of the mountains. Both groups went up to the Ai Cafe. Tomorrow both groups will climb the refuge National Park, the height of 3850 meters. There they will continue acclimatization.

News of the Elbrus region. The DIY group climbed to the highest point of Elbrus yesterday. The weather forecast did not coincide with the reality on the mountain, but this did not prevent us from climbing to the top at a good pace.

The group "Glacier" sends greetings from the top of Elbrus! Today we successfully climbed the summit and went down. The forecast deceived us, of course, but this did not prevent us from reaching the highest point in Europe and Russia. Even today, our participant Elena celebrated her birthday on the ascent. Congratulations to her on two holidays!
