Today we climbed to the top of Mount Giluwe and immediately went down without spending the night in the camp.

It seems that Ivan Stepanov, 16 years old, became the youngest Russian on Giluwe.

Hello from Papua New Guinea! Today is the final day of the program. In the morning we went to see the birds, which, alas, because of the rain did not want to show up. Then we walked through the forest with orchids. And then the Central event of the day happened – we visited the village of Paia. There we were given a solemn reception-baked pig, danced and sang.

Greetings from Papua New Guinea from “the intrepid conquerors” of Giluwe!  Today we had a cultural day. First we visited mudmen (clay people with pots on their heads). First they tried to intimidate us, then we did it of them. Then we danced in Panka Village with hoolimen. In the end we stopped at the local market, bought betel nuts and tried them. That was awesome! Still under the impression...

During our expedition to Papua several records were set:

1) The Firsts Estonians who have climbed Mount Giluwe - Vambola and Lisette Sipelgas (father and daughter).

2) First Crimean on Giluwe became great Igor Pokhvalin.

3) Ruslan Sadykov became the First from Bashkiria on Giluwe.

Ludmila Korobeshko: Yesterday morning, the 7 Summits Club team climbed to the top of Australia's and Oceania's highest volcano, Mount Giluwe.  The summit was made by all members of the expedition and a group of local Papuans.  They are kind and very nice people. And they are not cannibals. Papuans went with us to the top, sang songs by the fire, mixed mud – so, they had a great time in the campaign on Giluve!

Tomorrow our cultural program begins - a visit to the local tribes.

Hello from Papua! Our group is finally gathered together.  Ruslan, yet, remained without baggage, but we found for him lacking gear. And we already plan to start to the way to the bottom of Giluwe through the jungle and swamps!

All greetings from Papua New Guinea from Ludmila Korobeshko!  Our expedition to Mount Giluwe will officially begin tomorrow. Yesterday and today I with local men prepared everything for arrival of group - checked tents and sleeping bags, visited  shops. We even managed to buy a little bit of alcohol, which is practically banned in Papua. In ordinary shops it is not sold - only in special bins behind double lattices with guards.

Ludmila Korobeshko from Hong Kong. The expedition to Papua New Guinea on the volcano Giluwe started. More precisely, I have already started from Moscow towards the island of Papua. A 10-hour docking in Hong Kong suddenly turned into a pleasant adventure. Deciding to visit the world's largest bronze statue of Buddha on a hill near the airport, I got almost in the "Avatar".  There are numerous picturesque hills, dozens of trekking routes, often almost deserted. I could not resist and climbed to the top of one hill, which reminded me of our Pyatigorsk laccoliths. It is exactly opposite the Buddha statue. The views are stunning-rugged coves, Islands, hills, rhododendrons, birds-butterflies-flowers. Plus all sorts of pagodas, temples, large and small…

Today, the Mikheev family's trip to Mexico ended. After Orizaba we drove to Pueblo city, then to the pyramids of Teotihuacan. The whole country is decorated with skulls, is preparing for the day of the dead.  Mexicans create altars for the dead, decorated with flowers and everything they can. They put tequila, and the best sorts and everything that the deceased loved.

On October 29, at 7:20 am, a group of the 7 Summits Club climbed the summit of Mount Orizaba.

In late October, this area of Mexico still has a rainy season. But usually rains are in the afternoon. At night there was a good weather without wind. The condition of the route was excellent.

Orizaba. 25.10. We moved into a luxury lodge Solteras, under La Malinche. On the way we stopped at the pyramid in Cholula. The pyramid is considered the largest in the World in volume, not in height. Its height is 66 meters, in terms of 450x450 meters. The pyramid was built from the third century BC to the 8th century ad. Then, for unexplained reasons, it ceased to be used and fell into disrepair. On the top of the pyramid in 1570 the conquistadors built a Catholic church.

Orizaba. 26.10. Today it was an acclimatization day we climbed the summit of La Malinche. It rains here every day after lunch. Today was no exception. Mikhail managed to reach the top, Alla climbed at 1100 meters, which is very good for acclimatization.

Hello, 7  Summits! Our trip to Mexico, with the ascent of Orizaba for the Mikheev family, began.  We flew well, even there was no loss of luggage. On the first day we made a tour of the historic center of Mexico city. All of Mexico lives in preparation for its main holiday "Day of the dead" November 1-2. For them it is a joyful event when the souls of deceased loved ones come.

We are proud of our guides! Not only do they lead people to the mountains, but also do sports feats! Recently, the 7 Summits Club Super-guide Boris Egorov jumped base from the highest exit in Europe. Now Boris is preparing for a trip to Brazil, and then, in the winter, will work as a guide in Aconcagua, Ecuador and Kenya, join us!

The Kükürtlü Face is the Southwestern shoulder of the Elbrus massif. Amazing natural formation and one of the steepest and longest rock walls of the Caucasus mountains.

In August of this year, a trio of daredevils made a base jump here, passing before this traverse of the Western summit of Elbrus.

 Today, two groups ("Bloodthirsty bulls" and "Churchkhela")  climbed to the top of Mount Elbrus. Thereby guides of the  7 Summits Club  closed season!  On the mountain now  it is  already quite cold, down jackets were not removed! But dawn, as always, was very beautiful!

Two groups of the 7 Summits Club climbed to the refuge "National Park".   After lunch, they went to snow and ice training classes, where they mastered the technique of self-arresting with an ice axe and movement on fixed ropes. Tomorrow we plan next rotation of the Pastukhov Rocks. Guides:  Andrey Berezin and Alexander Dorojukov.

Autumn comes to the mountains.  The cold breath of approaching winter is already felt. Today two groups of the 7 Summits Club climbed the MT. Elbrus.

 The weather favored the ascent.  They climbed quickly enough. Already at 7.30 both groups reached the top.

Guide Andrey Berezin led the group, which worked on a standard program.  And guide Alexander Dorojukov was with another group who came on the program Blitz - climbing on the weekend.

Today we went up to the refuge "National Park" and settled in comfortable houses.  For acclimatization, we went to Shelter 11, where we conducted snow and ice training sessions.  The group mastered the skills of using  ice axes and moving on fixed ropes. Tomorrow we go to the Pastukhov Rocks.

 News from Elbrus.  The group called "Drinkers in the thorn" began preparations for the ascent of Elbrus. Today we went to Cheget, got a lot of impressions from the views of the surrounding mountains and ate raspberries. Autumn gradually comes to the mountains. Tomorrow we will move to the refuge "National Park" and continue further acclimatization.

  The 7 Summits Club organized the summer season on Kilimanjaro with our experienced guide Sergey Larin. Despite the fact that at this time in Tanzania was winter, with his help " on the roof of Africa " climbed 39 people.

Several families (mostly fathers and sons) have climbed Kilimanjaro this summer.

 With us to the top of Africa has climbed by leading managers of the group companies is the largest publishing house "EKSMO", "BUSTARD", "AST", "LITRES", "ROSEBLACK". Although it was not easy for everyone, but we did it! New climbers learned a lot about themselves, their comrades, their capabilities, and believed that what seems impossible is still possible!  We were very happy to organize the ascent for this team! It was the second peak, after Mount Elbrus, hopefully not the last!

 Meanwhile, September 1st is the beginning of the spring season in Tanzania!  Already going to bloom and bloom in full force all that is usually pleasing to the eye in Tanzania at this time.

 The dry season is still in full swing, but the mountain is getting warmer.

 And, of course, winter is coming! And where to meet the winter, if not in Tanzania!  Hot and dry! The perfect time for climbing!
