The 7 Summits Club  begins a new year 2019 with a successful ascent of Kilimanjaro. The team "Merry New year" under the leadership of our guide Dmitry Ermakov climbed to the highest peak of Africa - all participants, without loss!

Seven Peaks, Hello!   A group of the 7 Summits Club "Merry New year!" continues its journey. Today we reached the height of 3750, this is our Shira camp.  The height is felt, some are already beginning to have a headache. But, in general, all is well.  We sing songs, have fun. Weather today was almost all day foggy, but, thank God, in a rain we didn't get.

 Seven Summits, Hello!  There is Dmitry Ermakov from Kilimanjaro. Group "Happy New year" today starts on the Mountain.  According the plan the ascent we will have at 31th December to 1th of Janury. All people feel great and  are in high spirits. We are preparing now and in an hour we will start up the mountain.

Seven Summits, Hello!  This is Dmitry Ermakov, a guide of the 7 Summits Club, from Africa. I arrived last night, late reached the hotel. Here I met three members of our group. Today we checked equipment, in general it was a day of rest. Now I will start at the airport in an hour to meet the other members. The weather is fine, the mood is great.

Why should you go to Elbrus with the 7 Summits Club? The answer is simple. Because we take special care of our climbers. Mikhail Stepanov with his son Ivan and friends recently traveled to Mexico with the ascent of the volcano Orizaba. It is one of the seven highest volcanoes in the seven continents of the world, the highest in North America.  In addition, Orizaba (5,700 m), the highest mountain in Mexico.  Thanks for the wonderful photos and videos!

Nikolai Belonogov from Sakhalin climbed Kilimanjaro in the team of the 7 Summits Club and stood at the peak of Freedom (Uhuru peak, 5 895 m) on October 7, 2018.

 Congratulations to all members with the summit!

 According to Nicholai, everything was fine and he regrets only one thing - that he did not go after climbing with everyone on Safari and Zanzibar.

October 7, 2018 the group of 7 Summits Club was standing on the highest summit of Africa - Kilimanjaro.  The highest point of the array is called Uhuru Peak (5 895 m), which means the peak of Freedom.

Zorro Avagyan climbed  the highest peak of Africa on September 26th as part of a large group that reached the goal.  And down the valley, the first thing he sent to the 7 Summits Club pictures from his trip. It's nice to see a good mood climbers ascended to this difficult peak, overcome the route, requiring endurance and patience…

Today, September 14, the group "Brunin and the Company" climbed the West summit of Elbrus.  In fact, without Brunin himself, but in good mood! All went down and are happy with the results.

Hello everyone from the Western summit of Elbrus from the Extreme team! Today, at 08.00 am, we stood on the top! Feeling was great, the weather is more or less, the guys are tired, but very happy! Now we have gone down to the hotel Povorot,  all is well.

Viktor Ershov, guide of the 7 Summits Club: Hello from Elbrus! The team "Elbrus leopards" lived up to its name, and today at 10.00 am climbed to the Western summit of Elbrus! The weather was sunny, a bit of clouds and wind on top, but warm enough.  We went down to the shelter National Park and decided to relax here, and only tomorrow morning to go down to the hotel. Everyone is very tired and very happy! There was a guide Viktor Ershov.

Andrey Berezin, the 7 Summits Club guide: Summit! (Summits!!) Group "Lazy lynx, creeping to the goal" climbed the West summit of Elbrus.  And three members of the group climbed also the Eastern summit.  That's how we said goodbye to this summer!

Sergey Avtomonov, guide of the 7 Summits Club: a group of Noel Hannah climbed the Western  summit of Mount Elbrus.  All participants have reached the top, everyone is happy and everyone wants down!

Group Blitz "Snow White and six dwarfs" successfully climbed to the top of  Mount Elbrus. We walked in two small groups. The weather was great, everyone is happy - all deserve  awards!

Today, the group "Vegetable salad with tuna" reached  the Western peak of  Mount Elbrus.  And Alena Gloss climbed  also to the Eastern summit of Elbrus.  So she celebrated her birthday!

Oleg Maximov, project "Way to Everest»:

Today, at 10 am, Elbrus let me be on its top! Tomorrow I will write a detailed post, but for now just tell the giant thanks for the good weather!

A group of Israeli climbers successfully climbed to the top of Mount Elbrus. It’s happened 24.08. At 9:00. So by this a guide Sergey Larin completes his work on Elbrus for this season. Ahead - the Himalayas..

On August 23th, a group of South African climbers (12 people) climbed to the top of Mount Elbrus and cut there a bottle of sherry from 1842.

The weather was perfect for climbing, with almost no wind, withd sun, warm and good.  Now the whole group went down to the hotel and resting. Tomorrow (August 24) – there will be a  solemn party and awarding the summiters!

Yesterday, the practical part of the joint project of blogger Oleg Maksimov and the 7 Summits Club "Way to Everest" began. Oleg came to the Elbrus region, and together with partners by the group has started to acclimatization, under the guidance of Andrey Berezin.

 The guide, Andrey Berezin:

 The group, which was named  “Vegetable Salad with Tuna", began an acclimatization rotation on the slopes of mount Cheget. The weather today allowed us to see Elbrus, on the slopes of which we are moving tomorrow.

Super blitz program: Elbrus, with artificial oxygen.

17.08. Arrival in Azau at 18:00.

18.08. Obtaining equipment rentals,  cable car  for a shelter 3900 m at 11:30.

19.08.  Start at 2:00.  Departure for the ascent by snowcats. Summit at  7:00. Descent to Azau at 11:30. Transfer to the airport at 12:40. Departure from Mineralnye Vody at 17:40.

Mountaineer - Jamil from Baku. Before that, he was on Kilimanjaro, where after 5000 he did not feel very well. Plus lack of free time. So Jamil decided to order our oxygen program.

One oxygen cylinder was used completely. All went well -  without headache and ailments of the climber. A little physical fatigue on the way down. And the weather matched the forecast, the wind was strong and cold, but the climber with the oxygen  did not froze. However, little grabbed the skin on the cheeks next to the mask, as usual.

For those who continue to fight for the purity of mountaineering, despite the thirty-year development of commercial mountaineering in our country, I want to add. This climbing we  do not consider as mountaineering sport. The participant does not consider himself a climber. Those who go to Elbrus without oxygen, we did not consider as goats. Moreover  we applies with large respect, especially to those who goes from Azau with large backpacks.
