 Yesterday our team made an acclimatization rotation to the rocks of Lenz. Today we are resting until lunch.  And in the afternoon we plan to get up with a tent and spend the night on the lower rocks of Lenz. Exit to the summit assault will be at 4 o'clock in the morning.

After a few days of bad weather it came a day favorable for climbing. Taking advantage of the reserve day, a group of Shamans reached the top of Elbrus…

 Today, July 7, the whole team of Chicago and all guides climbed to the top of Elbrus. The weather was very strange. There are a strong wind and snow, then the sun. The team proved to be excellent.

July 3rd. Today, the Chicago team went up to the shelter. We had a great snow training. Everyone was writhing in the snow and rejoicing like children.

Tonight we had a screening of our Everest film “Gen of Altitude” 1 series. Tomorrow we will watch the second part.

 Now it's raining. The exit to the summit is postponed.

The 4th of July.

In the morning: storm and snow with rain. After a very warm week, during which snow was actively melting on Elbrus, there was a stormy wind and heavy rain tonight. The Baksan river came out of the banks. The disaster washed away several bridges in the gorge and several sections of the road, which were restored only last autumn after the mudflow, damaged the power support. Now the valley is cut off from electricity and probably transport does not go. We're sitting at a shelter at 3800. We can't go down. We hope that over the next 2 days the infrastructure of the valley will be restored.

A group of Shamans made a rotation exit to the Pastukhov Rocks today. As we climbed the weather did not change for the better.  At Pastukhov Rocks we were already up in down suits. It's the month of July, and somewhere there is  +40!

 On the rocks of Pastukhov we took a joint photo with a group led by Alexander Abramov. This group is named "Chicago". And on the way back we had a mini ecological action to collect waste, which melting on Elbrus.

Today, 17 Eksmo team members, 7 guides, an operator and a photographer climbed to the top of Mount Elbrus. All participants are happy. For all this  17 members it was the first experience in the mountains. The team was very different in physical characteristics. However, everyone managed to get summit in at the same time. The weather was changeable and as soon as the team left the summit, it deteriorated sharply. We were forced to count all over by  heads in the fog. But in the end everyone is alive and happy.

 The group named Vinaigrette climbed to the Pastukhov Rocks.  Today there was a warm sunny day and we enjoyed  views of the Main Caucasus Mountain Range. Even on the rocks of Pastukhov we were waiting for a pleasant surprise, in the form of a couple of bottles of Coca-Cola…

Sergey Avtomonov, guide of the 7 Summits Club: Women's national team of Saudi Arabia has expelled from its ranks all men (except the guides) and got a only women's team to the top of Elbrus!!! Now all the participants are resting and tomorrow we go down to the hotel.

Dmitry Ermakov, a guide of the 7 Summits Club: Team of the Qimmam-2 or "a Group of cheerful Arabs", all participants, climbed to the Western summit of Elbrus. Now the group is on descent, everything goes perfectly!

Sergey Larin, a guide of the 7 Summits Club: Today, June 22, a group of the Qimmam-1, at 9: 00 am, all participants, 7 people, climbed the Western summit of Elbrus.

 For now the team is on the way to the hotel…

The second group of Arab climbers from the company Qimmam adventure club arrived in Elbrus and climbed today for acclimatization to the slopes of mount Cheget, under the guidance of guide Dmitry Ermakov. And the first group together with the guide Sergey Larin climbed the Pastukhov Rocks today and thus completed the acclimatization rotation.

  The second in this season group of the 7 Summits Club reached the summit of the highest volcano in Asia Mount Damavand (5671 m). The ascent was made in harsh conditions, which are not typical for this time of year.  Instead of fields of flowers and trodden paths, the group had to climb by snow-covered slopes in strong winds under unexpected conditions.

  But they did it!

  In addition to the mountains,  our team tried to plunge, as time allowed, in the color of Iran.  They went up to the TV tower of Tehran, which offers a panorama of the whole city.  They drove to the ancient cave settlement, visited the healing thermal springs at the foot of Damavand.

Sergey Larin, a guide of the 7 Summits Club from Elbrus region: A Group of Qimmam adventure club from Egypt the beginning of the acclimatization before climbing Elbrus.  In fact, there are only two people from Egypt, but three from Saudi Arabia, one from Yemen and one from Canada. Catherine Tabula climbed to the top of Kilimanjaro on 11 June 2018. She traveled the 7 Summits Club program, the so-called" short version", that is, on the route of Marangu. And she was the only member

The weather during the assault was great! Not a cloud! The top of Kilimanjaro and the panorama around it opened in all its beauty! Catherine rose above the clouds!  The rain caught her below, on the descent to the gate of the national Park after Horombo.

Today at two o'clock in the morning the group "Three parts of the world" started on ascent. We reached the Western summit of Elbrus in the early morning, in fine weather and in a good mood…

 Today the team of the 7 Summit Club climbed the top of Mount Elbrus. Three members walked from the refuge at 3800 and one among them was unable to reach the summit. Other climbers rode on the snowmobile and all is well got up the top. Now we are at 5100, soon we will go down below. And today we are going to descend completely to thу Terskol Village. Dmitry Ermakov.

Dmitry Ermakov, a guide of  the 7 Summits Club: a Group of "No name" continues to climb the Mount of Elbrus. Yesterday we walked to Pastukhov Rocks, where we had snow-ice classes. Today we rest. Part of the group went down to the barbecue diet, part prefers of the rest here at the shelter. Tonight we go out to storm the summit.

Today on June 11th at 10 am, in terrible weather visibility 20-30 m, snow and strong wind, Alexander Abramov and Lyudmila Korobeshko climbed to the top of the highest volcano in Asia - Damavand 5671m.

Damavand surprise us. Personally, I was counting on a simple trekking along a rocky path (as everyone who was there in the summer told) in single-layer shoes and light jackets. The result: we put crampons in a shelter on 4200, walked all the way through the deep snow, in some places falling almost to the waist, our hands were freezing even in warm gloves, we almost had frozen noses. The visibility was 5-10 meters. It's good that we had a local guide - Hamid. Without him, we would have lost. And even with him a couple of times we almost decided to turn. The only thing that stopped us was that the forecast for the next day which  was even worse. But going down by fresh snow was convenient and fast:))) Conclusion – there is no warm mountains. It is better always take a stock of warm clothes! And crampons!

The race for the volcanoes! Now Luda Korobeshko went to Iran to climb the Demavent. Luda wants to finish the project of 7 volcanoes and become the first woman to make  7 Summits plus 7 volcanoes programs.  Climber on 7 + 7 Alexander Abramov  (and her husband) will help her!
