Today 10 from 11 members of our team led by Dima Ermakov reached the Western Peak of Elbrus. The highest - 5642 meters. Then a part of the team made a traverse to the Eastern Peak - 5621 meters. And then they went down to the North and reached a refuge at altitude 3800 meters. Other climbers went safely back to Terskol and now having a rest.

It was not an easest descent, but all ends good. Now all members and guides are in the  base camp and waiting for a plane to Talkeetna. The eather is quite bad, snow  and storms. But now the climb is over...

In a very hard conditions our friends from Tyva Republic made the legendary Kora around Mont Kailash. Not many of piligrims were so lucky. Just some Tibetians. Among them the youngest Muchu Amo who is just two month old. May by it a world record?

A guide of the 7 Summits Club Denis Saveliev reported from Chamonix. Today he climbed Mt. Monte Rosa (Gnifetti) with our group consist of two young girls. They returned to Chamonix late in the evening. Now they will be preparing for Mont Blanc climb, starting depending of the weather.

The team started very early in hard frost. But it ws good solution. In very changebile weather our team was only one was lucky. All members, nine Russians and three Americain guides were on the summit ap. 7 p.m., 6th of July. For Alex personally it means  finising the second Seven Summits. The whole project was borned here, in Alaska at 1994.

Luda  with a group climbed he Mount of Kazbet at 4th of July. Now they are in Tbilisi, georgian capital. Tommorow she will go to Piatigorsk, members will fly to Moscow.

After 4 days of waiting in the Basin (Rangers) Camp the group of Alex Abramov moved to the High Camp. In was a just unexpected windows. The weather is unpredictable. But or climber are ready for the summit assault.

The group of Anatoly Okhotnikov with guides of the 7 Summit Club Denis Saveliev and Denis Provalov has climbed the Mount Mont Blanc.  They started from the new refuge of Gouter  and spent a night after in this Refuge. Now they are descending to Chamonix. The weather in excellent.

Despite hard conditions, a group of Dima Ermakov has climbed the Mount of Elbrus. Now they are already in Terskol, in the restaurent, everybody is happy.

The weather has changed suddenly, and a group of Luda Korobeshko used a chance climbing the summit of Mount Kazbek. Luda is calling just fron the summit:

Yesterday our group climbed Mount Demavend. There was a strong wind, cold. And, in general, the climb was to some participants very hard.

On the same day, late at night, we went down in Polur.

Today we have a rest, we come back to Teheran. The part of group will depart home, and other part will continue acquaintance to Iran in Isfahan.

Hello! It is Dmitry Ermakov from the Elbrus region. Yesterday we made a record. We climbed the mountain in 4 hours from camp to camp. Of course, we used a little snowcat. But the fact, however, even for me it is a discovery. I myself never did the top of Mount Elbrus with such speed. A record. In general, all is OK. Yesterday, almost all the participants returned home. We are waiting for the next. Everything is fine. Come all to Elbrus region. We are waiting for you. Hello everyone!

Yesterday they landed at Kahiltna Glacier. And in night the group made the first miles to thr summit.

Olga Rumyantseva from Iran. Yesterday we went down from the mountain of Tuchal and late at night we arrived to the village Polur, from where the climb of Demavend begins. Now we pack things and we are going to leave for the place where the route begins. All have a good health, all are vigorous and cheerful. All of us like very muchIran. We are fine.

Alex met a group of the 7 Summits Club.  They are 9 persons to climb Mt. Denali. Now they stay in the Millenium Hotel. All is OK.

On the way to Alaska, to the Mt. Mc-Kinley, Alex landed in Los Angeles. In airport he was met by Kostya Vasenko. Later they visited the big house of our friend Karo Ovasapyan.

First time Alex was in Alaska at 1994. It was absolutely first his project on the Seven Summits. During hard time in Russia it was unexpected and very surprising event. Alex climbed the sumit with 6 partners almost without money. It was the start of fullfilment of the dreams.

Now he will lead a big group. The program begins 13th of June.

A report of the world record established by our friend Valera Rozov became the world news dated for 60-year anniversary of the firstMount Everestclimb. This message got on pages of the world press, the leading newspapers, the most popular news TV channels. Fine! We are proud that this new achievement of the outstanding Russian athlete was made within the 7 Summits Club Everest expedition under the leadership of Alex Abramov.

The Russian extreme sports star Valery Rozov has made the highest ever BASE jump after leaping off Mt Everest from an altitude of 7,220m. Rozov made the jump on May 5th after almost two years of planning and training. Check out the video and the full story on our news page.

Valery Rozov group of 11 people was working in our expedition. Among them, his constant companions for the most extreme expeditions: Alexander Ruchkin, Thomas Senf and Sergey Krasko. The group was acclimated, has prepared the site for a touchdown and a shooting onNorth Rongbukglacier. Time was short, and Valery decided to jump at the first opportunity, on May 5.

Red Bull:

The ascent began on the Chinese side on the famous north route. Rozov had selected a spot for his leap at an altitude of 7,220 meters. It took him four days to climb from base camp to the jumping location, assisted by a team of four Sherpas.

At precisely 2:30 p.m. local time on May 5th, with temperatures at -18 Celsius, he jumped. Because the cliff at the top was not very high, the initial moment in the rarified high altitude air was extremely precarious.

Rozov needed more time than usual in the thin air to transition from freefall to flying. But after that he flew for nearly a full minute at speeds of about 200 km/h down the north face before landing safely on the Rongbuk glacier (5,950m).
