Today - the official day of start of the 7 Summits Club expedition to Everest. The main part of members of expeditions arrived in Kathmandu today. Everything is going normally. Expedition is large, probably the second or third largest on both sides of Mount Everest, the biggest on the North side.

The expedition : 15 climbers and 4 guide.

And numerous group of Sherpas , led by Mingma Gelu.

Today, after several days of trekking, the 7 Summits Club group reached the base camp Machapuchare. All OK. Guide of the expedition Vladimir Kotlyar:

Today, November 5, in the morning we went to the Kala-Patar. Everything went great. The weather was favorable - the sun. Visibility was complete. Now we are down to Gorak Shep, drank tea. And here in the office today on meet two old friends: Mingma Gelu Sherpa, our director, and Nicholay D. Cherny - legendary climber, 73 years old guide. They have worked together many times on many expeditions to Everest!

Leaders of the 7 Summits Club Alexander Abramov and Ludmila Korobeshko climbed the highest peak in Armenia, Mount Aragats, 4090 meters. That they have such a tradition - to celebrate their wedding anniversary on the top of the mountain that is new for them. At this time, and it is the 12th anniversary, it was chosen Armenia. The country is very pleasant, very promising for tourism, loved the people. The ascent took about 6-7 hours, was held in harsh conditions in the deep snow. But everyone is happy.

Heavy, catastrophic snowfalls ruined plans of many expeditions in theHimalayas. According to some information, 14 people were lost in avalanches. Our expedition on Baruntse appeared in difficult conditions when in one day dropped out snow more than a meter. The decision to evacuate group by helicopter was made.

On September 28th. our Mt. Baruntse Expedition group flew to Lukla. Then they reached the base camp and begin to work on the route. Before snowfalls they were ready for a final, summit assault

Ivan Dusharin, vice-president of Russian Mountaineering Federation, went to Nepal on Meru Peak, as the guide of 7 Summits Club. Members of a new expedition - a close-knit team, whose members are preparing for serious climbing - storming the Himalayan peaks of Cho Oyu (8201 m). In preparation for the expedition to this eight-thouthander, they made two ascents of Elbrus with the 7 Summits Club this season. Now the team is going to Mera Peak, and in spring they are going to Cho Oyu.
Today, arriving in Kathmandu, the group has already been at afternoon in Lukla and began a program of acclimatization.

Hello! Alex Abramov from the global expedition to Mount Fuji, Giluve and Carstensz. Today we spent the night on benches at the airport in Tokyo. Then we arrived in the morning from Tokyo to Singapore, and spent a memorable 8:00. Chic city, we really liked the city... Now we're leaving from Singapore and fly to Port Moresby. It is the capital of Papua New Guinea. There's in a 2 or 3 hours we fly to Mount Hagen. Where Olga Rumyantseva will meet us. She will tell us about her ascent will and help our team to climb. We were has increased for one member - Liana Chabdarova has joint us. Now we are seven. Tomorrow we will meet Olga and be eight. In general you will have eleven on Carstensz joining later by three more persons. But for them - later. All we have is perfect, we all have the best mood. Such a fun trip that ... no one simply does not believe his luck.

Hello! This is Alex Abramov from the top of Mount Fuji. We met the sunrise right near the top. Now there is a very strong wind. All six people were climbed up.  Our group led by Alex Abramov landed in Tokyo. The weather is typical for Far East: rain. But the mood is great. We plan to climb Mount Fuji. Then fly to New Guinea for the tallest volcano - Mount Giluve. And at last - to climb the Carstensz Pyramid.

A group of the 7 Summits Club went back to Kathmandu from the big tour to Tibet with visit of the Kailash region. everything is OK, all people are well. The travel with a guide Lena was very exciting and interesting.
