Today our valiant team came to the Manaslu Base Camp. Altitude - 4750 meters. The camp is very comfortable. For the participants and guides - new tents, with beds. And our Internet is from Starlink. And the toilets are chic. Everything is great. Although everyone is a little "washed up", the altitude is taking its toll. The doctor did a "check-up". The whole team is fine. Tomorrow is a walk around the base camps and unpacking things. It started to rain lightly. And it's warm, for such an altitude.

Namaste from Nepal! The Manasl-25 group continued exploring the surroundings of Samagaon today. We visited the monastery closest to us, located at an altitude of 4000 meters. It was cloudy all day, so we did not see the surrounding Himalayan peaks. But this did not stop us from having a good, useful time. Tomorrow we will go to the Manaslu base camp.

 Alexander Abramov:

Today our team gained 500 m in altitude and went above the 4000 meter mark. We climbed to the Pungen Gumba monastery. Tomorrow we go to the Base Camp. Olga Rumyantseva came there today. She highly praised our camp. In the evening, as always, our team doctor conducted a medical examination. Everyone is doing great.

The Supergirls team climbed the summit of Elbrus in 100%. It was hard for everyone, but the weather was for us, just ideal conditions. Wind 0 all day. Everyone is down and everyone is already waiting for new trips with the 7 Summits Club. Hooray!

That day, about 400 people went to climb. Before the summit, we got into a queue of 150 climbers who just wanted to stand on the summit. It's time for the leadership of the KBR to think about building a large platform, since everyone who wants to can no longer fit on the top of Elbrus. And make the ascent along the fixed ropes a paid one.

Today, August 20, the 7 Summits Club SuperGirls team moved to the Refuge, at an altitude of 3600 m. And went on an acclimatization rotation to the Pastukhov Rocks. The weather got worse as we climbed. But before the snow and rain, we managed to reach our destination and go down. And in the kitchen of the 7 Summits Club, we had a delicious lunch, and then dinner. The weather outside is terrible: thunderstorms, wind, snow. Tomorrow is a day of rest and preparation for the Elbrus climb. And also a photo shoot in dresses against the backdrop of the mountains.

President of the 7 Summits Club company Alexander Abramov:

An incredible event in the History of Mountaineering has happened. For the first time in the History of mankind!  The 7 Summits Club project "Hungry Elbrus" ended with an amazing result. 14 participants and 3 guides spent 5 days of fasting in the Elbrus region and all 17 "hungry climbers" successfully ascended to the summit of the highest mountain in Europe - Elbrus. And they ascended at a very good pace.

This event can claim a World Record. All participants noted that both acclimatization and the ascent itself were easier than with a usual "well-fed" ascent. This is probably a new era in Mountaineering.

During the experiment, all participants drank only water and tea with honey or jam. But several participants drank only water. The process was observed by Doctor Myasnikov, who at 72 years old also climbed Elbrus hungry.

All the members lost at least 3.5 kg in 5 days. Alexander Abramov and Artem Gurshteyn lost the most. 7 kilograms each. The reason for this was that Artem drank only clean water.

And Abramov, probably because he led the expedition and spent nervous energy.

Participant Pavel Persidsky climbed on the 8th day of fasting, since before the project he had not eaten for 3 days.

Before the assault, I was very worried about the result. Suddenly someone would lose consciousness, but everyone was very cheerful and all 100% of the project participants climbed to the top of Elbrus hungry!!!

During the expedition, four cameramen and a director filmed its progress. Expect the release of the film "Hungry Elbrus" in about 2 months!
