Greetings from Kyrgyzstan! The Pamir Vagabonds group climbed to the First Camp of Lenin Peak yesterday. The hike took about five hours at a good, steady pace. In the camp, we settled into comfortable little houses with beds and electricity; it's hard to imagine better conditions. And today, we made a successful acclimatization climb to Yukhin Peak, 5130 m. And for some participants, the program of stay at Lenin Peak has ended. Our participant Yulia climbed Domashniy Peak, and was very happy about it. Greetings from Lenin Peak Base Camp! The "Pamir Vagabonds" group made their first acclimatization rotation to the ridge of Petrovsky Peak today. The weather was great, the views were stunning!  Greetings from Kyrgyzstan! Another group from the summer season of the 8000 Club arrived at the Lenin Peak Base Camp today. On the way, we got stuck in a traffic jam for an hour and a half, and work was being carried out on the Pamir Highway to clear the slopes of dangerous stones. But this did not affect our excellent mood, and the amazing comfortable yurts in which we will spend two nights raised it even more. The day before, we spent the day in Osh, walked around the city and along Mount Suleiman-Too, and had dinner at the national restaurant Navat. Fortunately, despite numerous flight delays and cancellations, everyone arrived on time, and now nothing prevents us from starting our program. The group name will be ready tomorrow.

 Greetings from Sirius! The 7 Summits Club group, the Croods Family, has completed a three-day adventure program in Sochi region. On the third day, we were engaged in canyoning, which is the process of going through canyons along the riverbeds of mountain rivers, overcoming water obstacles and rocky areas. This is one of the most popular and most dynamic types of active recreation. We were convinced of this ourselves on the route; you should have seen the enthusiastic emotions of our young participants, Varya and Sasha. We returned to some sections, such as jumping into the water from rock springboards, several times. All members of the Croods Family (Oksana, Andrey, Varya and Sasha) were very pleased with the organization of safety and the program as a whole. A great family vacations! We thank our partners "Adventure Workshop" for this! And we hope to continue our cooperation.

 Greetings from Krasnaya Polyana! The Croods Family group spent the second day of their program in the Vorontsov Caves, a fantastic area of the Krasnodar Region, unique in its beauty and splendor. Karst caves created by nature millions of years ago attract thousands of tourists. And there is much to be surprised and amazed at. First, we went on an excursion to one of the equipped caves, listened to the theoretical part, learned to distinguish statactites from stalagmites. And then we went through one of the most picturesque speleological routes with technical elements of rock climbing. Our young participants Varya and Sasha were at their best here too. Words are superfluous here, look at the photos, it is hard to believe that we saw it with our own eyes.

Greetings from Papua New Guinea! The "Nepromakaemye" group continues the program in this picturesque country. Today we moved from Mount Hagen to Wilhelm Peak in the neighboring province. Stops to taste exotic fruits, local coffee and colorful landscapes pleasantly complemented our journey. The last hour and a half of the road to the village of Kegesugl were a real test, but we endured everything steadfastly. And our reward was accommodation in a magnificent lodge with a trout farm. Greetings from Papua New Guinea from the group Nepromokaemye! The program of stay on Giluwe has ended. It was fleeting, but very eventful. Yesterday we visited several villages of local tribes, each of which stands out with its unique outfits and rituals. Who wasn't there to scare or surprise their neighbors - ghouls with clay heads, walking skeletons, colorful characters who would be among the best even at the Brazilian carnival. A colorful and emotional spectacle!

In the evening, according to tradition, there was an award ceremony for all participants on Giluwe. Unfortunately, part of the group is leaving us, but most of them are staying and today they are moving under Wilhelm Peak. The second part of the program begins. Hello to everyone from the "Nepromakaemye" (Waterproof) group from Papua New Guinea. Yesterday, our entire huge team climbed to the top of the Giluwe volcano. The team's name fully justified itself. During two days of trekking and climbing, we never got caught in the rain. An unprecedented situation for Papua.

Hello everyone from Papua New Guinea! According to information received from our guides Olya Rumyantseva and Valery Myasoedov, the team has reached the base camp in full force. Greetings from Papua New Guinea from the "Nepromokaemye" group! This is the name that came to our mind after two days without rain in an equatorial country. We hope that the ascent will also be unusual. That is, we wish for the same, without precipitation. The second day was active and informative. We visited a village of local residents, where we were received as dear guests and shown the best of Papuan traditions.

First, we were present at the laying of "mumu", a method of cooking meat and vegetables using hot stones and all sorts of herbs and leaves. A long process, the stones are heated for a long time and then about 10 layers of different greens and meat are laid. It simmers for about three hours. While the dish was being prepared, a local folklore group arranged a picturesque performance for us, which could only be seen in the Travelers' Club before. Locals also gathered, but probably more to look at us. They also gave us a tour of the village with a description of the life and customs of the villagers. The meat was delicious. Everyone appreciated it, it was a somewhat labor-intensive process, and like real art it requires time and effort.

We would like to note our communication with local children, the gifts and sweets we brought dissolved in the children's abyss in 5 minutes. It turns out that, having learned about our visit, a whole school came running to the village. There was enough for everyone. A busy day! Towards evening we moved to spend the night in a lodge, from where tomorrow we will move downhill to the base camp.

Today, on the first day of the program of the largest group of the season on Giluwe-Wilhelm, almost all the participants arrived in Mount Hagen and settled in the best hotel in the town "Highlander". Almost, because one participant was unlucky, his flight from Port Moresby was cancelled at the last moment, we hope that tomorrow, in the first half of the day, he will join us. The hotel is, in fact, very convenient and comfortable and is reliably protected by a high fence and security from the "raids" of the locals.

After a short rest, those who wanted to went to the local shopping center, some to buy a snack, some SIM cards, some fruit. Under the supervision of our partners, you feel quite confident and completely safe. After lunch, the participants' equipment was checked, and in the evening there was a traditional briefing and dinner, which lasted for three hours. The ascent to Giluwe, in itself, is not difficult, but nevertheless, there are many nuances. For example, almost the entire way you have to go in rubber boots because of the marshy areas and high humidity. Tomorrow we are moving in the direction of Giluwe, we will spend the night higher up in Magic Lodge. The name of the group is in development, we will definitely announce it tomorrow. Hello from Mendoza! Preparations for the start of the season are almost complete, food has been purchased and packed, tents and public equipment have been checked, gas, oxygen - everything is waiting to be sent to the Base Camp. There are some paperwork formalities left, which we plan to complete tomorrow. Also tomorrow we will meet the first participant of the first group, who arrives a day earlier, and then we will definitely be able to say: "The season has started!" Hello from sunny Mendoza! The advance guard of guides is already here and is starting to prepare for the long season on Aconcagua. Mendoza greeted us, as always, warmly. We passed passport control in 5 minutes, and customs did not even ask what we had in our huge bags. Argentina has changed a lot over the past year, the economy is stabilizing, all the locals note this, but, as a result of the reforms, prices have increased significantly. The official and street exchange rates of the dollar to the peso are almost the same, and the advantage that all foreigners had has disappeared. We have to get used to it...

First of all, we visited the office of our partners, discussed the innovations of this season, met new employees, looked around the warehouse with rental equipment and even tried on some things. By the way, our partners Aconcagua Vision are renting an office in the Diplomatic Hotel this year, which is very convenient for our participants and for us, since we rent a house right across the street. Today, we are planning to sort out the deposit and, at the same time, we are processing permits at the Migration Service. There is a lot of work, but we have everything worked out and tested over the years, there will be no problems. The season is long, until the end of February, and those who are still thinking about climbing Aconcagua have time. Greetings from Iran! Yesterday, the "Masha and the Lions" group in full force climbed the summit of Damavand! The weather was ideal, it was practically windless and sunny. We left at three o'clock in the morning in full force, then nevertheless divided along the way into those who were faster and those who were moderate. But the main thing is that everyone was at the top in 7.5 hours maximum time. Now that's moderate, you might say! The descent also went at an excellent pace, so we were already at the hotel by 9:00 PM. A hot shower and dinner at the restaurant were a great end to such a busy day. Everyone is great! Both Masha and the lions!

Greetings from Iran! The group "Masha and the Lions" has reached the final part. Tomorrow early in the morning we are scheduled to go to the summit of Damavand. The day before, we climbed to the assault camp at 4200 m, at a good pace in 5 hours, which shows the good physical fitness of the participants. Greetings from Iran! The group "Masha and the Lions" continues its smooth acclimatization before the climb, yesterday was the last day of relaxation. In the morning, we went to the top of Tochal, it is an hour and a half up and down from the seventh station of the cable car. We climbed at a leisurely pace. Nevertheless, the goal was achieved, we visited the highest point of this area, 3964 m. Then we went down by cable car to Tehran and began moving towards Damavand. We issued permits at the House of the Iranian Mountaineering Federation, then checked into the amazing Arses Hotel, which looks like an oasis against the backdrop of the village landscape. Before dinner we took a dip in a thermal spring, and at the end of the most eventful day of the program we had a tasting of kebabs and shashliks in the local kebab shop of Larijana.  Hi from Iran! The group "Masha and the Lions" began the acclimatization part of the program on the second day of their stay in the country. In the early afternoon, we climbed the cable car to 3,600 m and checked into the cozy Hotel Tochal. The accommodations for a high-altitude hotel are luxurious. The good food, the comfortable rooms, the recreation area, all contribute to acclimatization and recovery. In the afternoon, we climbed to the top of Mount Shah Nesh, 3,800 meters, and enjoyed a panoramic view of Tehran. Suddenly, the Damavand, which is usually hidden in the mist, opened up. In the evening, Andrey Selivanov gave a lecture on hypoxic training in preparation for climbing. Our participants showed great interest and asked many questions. Greetings from Iran! The new group of the 7 Summits Club has started the program of climbing Damavand! Tehran greeted us with the usual heat, under +36. However, in the north of the city, at the foot of the mountain range, where our magnificent hotel Espinas Palace is located, it is more comfortable. The first day of the stay was devoted to getting to know the city. The program included lunch in the panoramic restaurant of the Milod Tower at an altitude of 280 m, a sightseeing tour of Tehran and a visit to the Golestan Palace, the residence of the Qajar dynasty. We managed to do everything, even left a couple of hours to relax in the hotel spa. The welcome dinner was held in the Diba restaurant, numerous appetizers, traditional Iranian kebabs and shashliks were appreciated by the group members.
