Hello to all from the Beautiful group! Today we have climbed 700 meters and reached the last point of civilization on our way - the village of Khare, which is located at an altitude of 4900.

From here our ascent to Mera Peak will begin. We made today's journey in less than four hours, taking into account a slight deviation from the route to a very beautiful lake, and a tea party with a view of Mera Peak.

While drinking tea, a huge avalanche descended from the wall. From a distance, it looked very grand and beautiful. In Khare, we did not stop there, and after lunch we climbed another 250 meters to a height of 5150 for better acclimatization.

Everyone is cheerful and ready to move on.

A guide of the 7 Summits Club Olga Rumyantseva reports from Nepal:

Hello everyone from Nepal from the Beautiful group! Today we had the simplest and most pleasant day. Just some four hours of smooth ascent. So smooth that when we walked for about an hour and gained almost 300 meters out of 700 expected, I was asked: "Have we gained at least some?" Here, of course, good acclimatization also affects. So good that at an altitude of more than 4000 meters, instead of sweating tiredly, everyone goes and constantly chatter.

Today our path was not too diverse. From a height of 3500 we climbed along the river to a height of 4300 meters to the village of Tagnak.

But was he any less handsome for that? Firstly, the river itself with incredibly blue water and mini waterfalls.  Secondly, very soon after we started walking, a pyramid of a very beautiful mountain loomed in front of us. This mountain with a height of almost 6000 meters (the name will not tell you anything, and it constantly flies out of my head) is sacred. Climbing it is prohibited.  Thirdly, there was a small monastery on our way, inscribed in an overhanging stone.

By lunchtime we came to Tagnak and after a little rest, we went to wander around the village in search of beauty. The beauty was hidden by clouds. But never mind, we are not just a band ourselves, but a Beautiful one.

Greetings from Nepal from the group "Beautiful"! Today we moved from winter to spring. We woke up at an altitude of 4200 in the snow and began to descend towards the village of Kothe.  As we descended, the winter landscape changed to spring one.  There was less and less snow, more and more trees. Soon leaves appeared on them, and then we descended into a fabulous forest with trees covered with thick moss, paths strewn with flowers and blooming rhododendrons.  It can't be said that it was an easy way, but it was beautiful.

And most importantly, today we saw the purpose of our trip - Mera peak, in all its glory.

And although it was a little sad that it was over, the hot shower was much more pleasing. And in the evening, at a festive dinner, the participants of the ascent were awarded. News from the Chronic Climbers group. Today we moved from Camp Barranco to Camp Karanga.  To do this, we needed to climb the Baranko Wall. Climbing this wall invariably causes a lot of emotions. At first, looking at the wall, everyone asks the question "how to climb it?", and then they climb, watching with surprise a string of porters who overcome the wall with luggage on their heads.

After overcoming the wall, we had a tea party, before which we sang a little and even danced, despite the height of 4,200 meters.  And then there was a beautiful walking to the Karanga camp among beautiful trees and intricate volcanic forms. Tomorrow we have to move to the Kosovo assault camp.

Greetings to all from Tanzania from the group Chronic Climbers!  Today we made the crossing of the Lava Tower.  We climbed to a height of 4600 meters. Unlike the previous groups, this time we were very lucky, no snow and no rain, but in good sunny weather.

After lunch at the Lava Tower, we went down to our next camp - Barranco. The route to Barranco is one of the most beautiful sections of the Kilimanjaro hike. The path is decorated with outlandish senecia plants, waterfalls and a view of the Kilimanjaro wall.

Greetings to all from Tanzania from the group “Chronic climbers”!  Today our team finally came up with a name, and also got to know everyone who works with our group: porters, cooks, guides.

But before the introduction ceremony took place, we went through a long but very beautiful climb from the first Machame camp to the Shira Cave camp. From the area where trees grow, we went up to where there is nothing but bushes with picturesque moss. And then the bushes ended.

The ceremony of acquaintance was held with incendiary dances and songs. Tomorrow we have a big crossing over the Lava Tower.

Hello everyone from Tanzania! Today our group woke up in the Baranko camp with a view of the wall of the same name and the summit of Kilimanjaro beautifully decorated with snow and ice. After breakfast we started climbing the wall. This is a very impressive event. We have to climb the rocks, there are caravans of porters with huge bales on their heads. Traffic jams are forming, everyone is trying to get through as soon as possible. From pleasant - very beautiful views. It took us two hours to overcome the wall. After a small tea party, we continued our way to the camp among beautiful fogs and rocks. By lunchtime we arrived at the Karanga camp. We wanted to take a walk after lunch, but the rain again disrupted all our plans. So that we decided to rest and acclimatize not very actively.
