The 7 Summits Club group "Baul" in full force climbed the highest point of Russia and Europe, Mount Elbrus. We waited for the weather to improve and used the extra reserve day. The only thing is that there were a lot of other groups on the route. The team safely descended, accepting congratulations and making plans for the future.

 The 7 Summits Club guide Alexander Avtomonov reports from the Elbrus region:

 The 7 Summits Club team "Pastukhovtsy na vibe" successfully climbed the highest point in Russia and Europe, Mount Elbrus. The group climbed the Western summit of the massif, 5642 meters high, in full force. The weather was wonderful, so there were a huge number of climbers on the mountain - watch the video!

The 7 Summits Club group "Dolphin" in full force climbed to the highest point of Russia and Europe, Mount Elbrus. All participants climbed and then descended in a good mood. It was sunny during the climb, but there was a decent wind.

The group of the 7 Summits Club under the "Blitz" program ascended today in full force the Western peak of Elbrus. We walked all the way from our refuge, we didn't use a snow truck. We were lucky with the weather.

 The group of the 7 Summits Club took the name "16-69". Today we went up to our assault camp refuge "National Park". After the placement, we went up to the area Refuge of Eleven. There we conducted training sessions on the technique of climbing on snow slopes. We learned to stop falling with an ice axe on a steep slope. And we also remembered the basics of the technique of moving in crampons on snowy and firn slopes.

 Our group, which has not yet been named, started its program in the Elbrus region. Today we went our first acclimatization trip to the slopes of Mount Cheget. We were lucky with the weather today and even Elbrus opened for us. On the descent we passed through Donguz-Orun Lake.

Our group "Adventurer traveler" went to acclimatize on the slopes of Elbrus. We went up to our assault camp. We learned how to walk in crampons, conducted classes on using an ice axe and moving along snowy slopes. And they managed to get down before the precipitation began.

The team of the 7 Summits Club "Three A" almost in full force climbed the Eastern peak of Elbrus from the north in bad weather. And then we went down to the south side. We even were in time for the cable car. We could admire the beautiful sunsets on the Rocks of Lenz, at an overnight stay. And also the views in the morning at the exit from the Rocks of Lenz, then there was no longer any visibility.

All night we struggled with a squally wind and walked through the deep snow that had fallen over the past few days. On the way, we put up hangers for future groups. In the evening, everyone went down to the hotel and then left for Pyatigorsk to continue the program.
