Hello everyone! Yesterday, the 7 Summits Club group "Spartans" made a successful ascent on the main, Western peak of Elbrus 5642m! The weather was great, the conditions were almost perfect. And this is despite it being Friday the 13th! The season on the Mountain is ending, but new projects are ahead. During the festive dinner and awards ceremony, we discussed further mountain plans.

 11.09. Hello everyone! The 7 Summits Club "Spartans" group went to high-altitude acclimatization on the Pastukhov Rocks up to 4500m! The weather was great and we managed to do everything perfectly. On the descent we again got caught up in the excitement of queues. The old cable car is already at its limit. We even walked the 2nd line, which saved a couple of hours of standing and waiting! Tomorrow is rest and preparation for the assault!

 10.09. Hello everyone!  The individual group of the 7 Summits Club "Spartans" climbed the slopes of Elbrus today and went to the Refuge of 11 at an altitude of 4100 meters. There, in conditions of clouds and snow hail, we successfully held snow and ice training. In particular, we worked on the technique of self-arrest with an ice ax.

On the descent, we visited the Museum of Military Glory at the Mir station at an altitude of 3500 m.

The situation on the pendulum cable car is critical. The new roads are closed for maintenance, and the "old lady" cannot cope with the number of people wanting to go up and down! Every day passions run high here...

 Hello everyone! Today, the new individual group of the 7 Summits Club "Spartans" went to the slopes of Mount Cheget to the famous cafe "Ai", at an altitude of 2750 m.

Autumn is coming, but the mountains are still quite comfortable! Today was a cloudy day, it drizzled a little, but the mood of the group remained fighting.

Everything is going according to plan: after lunch - equipment rental, preparation for tomorrow, rest.

 6.09. Yesterday, the group of Marvel Agents from the 7 Summits Club climbed the summit of West Elbrus at 5642m! The weather and condition of the route were close to perfect. A successful climb was a great gift for birthday of our member Marina. We had to swerve a little bit in traffic on an old cable car. But this unpleasantness has in no way tarnished our solemn, festive dinner of awards and congratulations!

We were lucky with the weather on the ascent, but then it was different, including rain and snow. The participants feel great, fully prepared for the ascent.  3.09. Hello everyone! Today, the individual group of the 7 Summits Club "Marvel Agents" climbed the slopes of Elbrus to the Refuge of 11 at 4100m. There we held snow and ice training sessions, worked on the technique of self-arrest with an ice ax. The weather was great, everything went great. We had a snack at the refuge with our chef Zuli and went down to the hotel to rest.

Before dinner, already near the hotel, we mastered the basics of mountaineering techniques and worked on safety systems and moving on fixed ropes. Tomorrow there will be an acclimatization climb to the Pastukhov Rocks.

Hello everyone! Today, a new individual group of the 7 Summits Club, which came up with the name "Marvel Agents", began its program of climbing Elbrus. Traditionally, we climbed the slopes of Mount Cheget to the legendary cafe "Ai" at an altitude of 2750 meters. The weather was good for us, allowing us to go down to Lake Donguz Orun Köl. Hello everyone! Yesterday, August 30, the 7 Summits Club group "Otmorozhennye" (“Frozen”) successfully climbed the Western Elbrus summit 5642m! When leaving, the team was divided into two groups of four people: pedestrians and those who wanted technical support. The hikers set off for the summit from the shelter, without using a snowcat. Unfortunately, two of them, having miscalculated their strength, retreated. They decided that they would try to climb to the summit next time!

The remaining participants reached their cherished goal and then successfully descended! At the dinner, with national cuisine and Caucasian hospitality, an award ceremony was held and medals and certificates were presented for climbing the highest point of Europe!

08/27. Hello everyone! The 7 Summits Club group "Frosted" moved to the Refuge National Park at an altitude of 3900 m today. We settled in and went to the Refuge of Eleven at 4100 m. There we held snow-ice training. The weather today was wonderful, super, we worked out everything that was supposed to be done according to the plan.

After lunch, the group continued to master mountaineering techniques near the refuge. We worked out the safety systems and the scheme of movement on the fixed ropes. Tomorrow, according to the plan, we will go for high-altitude acclimatization to the Pastukhov Rocks, up to an altitude of 4700 m.

August 26. Hello everyone! Today, a new group of the 7 Summits Club, which took the name "Frozen", began preparing for the ascent of Elbrus. The participants climbed for acclimatization along the slopes of Mount Cheget to an altitude of 2750 meters, that is, to the famous "Ai" cafe. It was not hot today, there was a light rain from time to time. The group walked briskly.

After lunch, we went to the rental store for the missing equipment. Tomorrow we move to the high-mountain shelter National Park, we will spend the night at an altitude of 3900 meters and continue acclimatization.

 21.08. Hello everyone! News from the 7 Summits Club group "Selfless Capybaras and one Fossil Khibinoid". Today our team went to high-altitude acclimatization to Pastukhov Rocks up to 4700 m! We were lucky with the weather. It was sunny, although the wind was still there.

Upon returning to the refuge, a delicious lunch and long-awaited rest awaited us!

After settling into comfortable houses, we climbed to the refuge of Eleven at an altitude of 4100 meters. There we held "snow-ice" training on the technique of climbing on the terrain such as it will be on the ascent. The weather is super, we worked everything out. On the descent we met a group of our SuperGirls Club led by Alex Abramov!

19.08. Hello everyone! The new group of the 7 Summits Club took a very long and meaningful name "Selfless Capybaras and one Fossil Khibinoide". Today we began acclimatization for climbing the highest point of the Caucasus and Europe, Mount Elbrus. At a good pace, the group members and the guide climbed the slopes of Mount Cheget to an altitude of 2750 meters. At this altitude is the famous cafe "Ai", where we were traditionally treated to delicious chebureks with berries.

Tomorrow, according to the plan, we move to the high-mountain refuge National Park at an altitude of 3,500 meters and continue training on the slopes of Elbrus.

Hello everyone! Yesterday, August 17, the "Ural-TOP-team" of the 7 Summits Club climbed to the top of Western Peak of Elbrus 5642m! The day was very eventful. There were many challenges: from headwind to large traffic jams on fixed ropes. After all, this is the peak of the season. In general, the sunny weather was favorable for a successful ascent.

At the dinner, with national cuisine and excellent hospitality, medals and certificates were presented for the ascent on the highest point of Europe

Hello everyone! Our group "Ural-TOP-team" of the 7 Summits Club today went on high-altitude acclimatization to Pastukhov Rocks at an altitude of 4500 m!

The weather again started with clarity and turned into complete fog with wind. But we coped with the task and went down to the hotel on the cable car in time!

Now it's time to rest. And we will watch the forecast. Tomorrow we will decide what to do next. To climb on Friday or use the reserve day. In any case, we are preparing to storm the summit of Elbrus!

 7.08. Hello everyone! The 7 Summits Club group "Moscow Longevity" made a rotation to acquire altitude acclimatization to Pastukhov Rocks, up to 4700 m! The weather at first pleased us with clarity, but soon completely changed in the opposite direction. Nevertheless, we reached the intended goal and safely descended to our refuge.

6.08. Hello everyone! The 7 Summits Club group "Moscow Longevity" moved today to the National Park refuge, where we settled very comfortably for the next few days.

Then we went for a walk to the area of the Refuge of Eleven, at an altitude of 4100. There we held classes on the technique of moving on snowy terrain. The weather was not pampering, but we managed and worked everything out.

As always, the cooks pampered us with a wonderful lunch and dinner. It is impossible to lose weight, because it is too delicious!
