Artem Rostovtsev, a guide of  the 7 Summits Club: Hi, 7 summits! This is Artem Rostovtsev from Papua. We are in the base camp under Carstensz. Now exactly 2:20 local time, remember this time! Today the day began in Timika. In the morning we had a breakfast at the hotel, then arrived at the airport. We waited for our departure of the helicopter, waited for a long time... then flew. According to the forecast we knew that today is the last day of good weather ... and we decided to climb to the top immediately ...

Not to stand in the night, not get wet in the rain. The result: at 2:20 we reached the summit and descended. And now we celebrate our success. Everyone is feeling great. The Chinese delegation, which is here, came... congratulated us ....

There was no helicopter today, but tomorrow we hope to fly in Timika. Bye! Artem Rostovtsev

Sunny weather continues to pamper us.

Today we climbed to the summit of Aiguille de Toule 3500. As planned, then we  had a little practice on the glacier and solidified in the previous days knowledge by great climbing.

The 7 Summits Club started the development and production of medals for ascents on each of “the 7 summits”. Today there was the first presentation of the medal for climbing Kilimanjaro. And practicing the ceremony of awarding the medals. Medals are awarded in a festive atmosphere by dressing on the neck of each participant. Medals are only given to the summit climbers. Its will be  not sold and not given. To every coin is issued a certificate signed by the guide. At presentation of the medal women made curtsey and kiss a guide. Men stand a thank-you on one knee. These rules must be explained by the guides prior to delivery. The certificate must be completed and signed by the guide.

Rainy greetings from Papua! We are again in Timika. In short, we flew to Sugapa, and then are unable to overcome obstacles in the form of representatives of the tribe of Moni on the way to the jungle. Some time groups of tourists weren't there, and, perhaps, some time, still will not. We spent the night in a police station  and in the morning were evacuated at the first opportunity. We'll go the other routes planned tomorrow to fly to the base camp under a Pyramid Carstenz by helicopter.

Due to weather conditions and accumulated in two non-flying days  tourists, today we again failed to fly to Lukla on the plane. So we decided to fly in a helicopter)))

Maxim Foygel, guide of the 7 Summits Club: Cold and drizzly weather in the capital of mountaineering Chamonix has not inspired us to venture into the rocks. We quickly switched to Italy:)

Oh, how wonderful is autumn Aosta! A complete contrast of France.

On the rocks near the village of Arvier we worked out a basic mountaineering technic - descent and ascent on a rope, tied knots and refreshed knowledge on working with different types of equipment.

The forecast for tomorrow is good, we go on the glacier Mer de Glas for training in ice.

Artem Rostovtsev, guide of  the 7 Summits Club: Hi, 7 summits! A group of Papua-Carstensz gathered in Timika. Today I met the team at the airport, they checked in, slept off. All you need to navigate to mountain attended. We checked with the immigration service, the first step to getting a residence permit. Then we got under a tropical shower, and has revised our approach to protection from the rain. We bought another waterproof layer. Now in this matter we are quite.

Tomorrow finally we leave this bastion of civilization and go to the Papuan jungle. In the morning we depart for the array, which dominated by Pyramid Carstensz, and will slowly stomping around 5-6 days and we'll be under the mountain.

October 20, Friday, the 7 Summits Club celebrated its 10th anniversary in the restaurant "Korchma Taras Bulba", at our friend Yuri Beloyvan. The evening passed very quickly and we can't believe we had so much to hear and see. Thank you friends who came to congratulate us! Thanks to those who sent greetings to other types of communication! Thanks to the staff of the restaurant!

On 10th October a group of the 7 summits Club climbed to the summit of Kilimanjaro. It was a trio: Mikhail Stepanov, Sergey Laptev and Yury Zozulya.

The climb was not very easy, but  guys did it! The weather helped as it could...

Congratulations! The team is now thinking where to go next.

Natalia Kartashova, head of the mountain  school of the 7 summits Club in the Crimea: Walking group Mountain school of Crimea continues to travel! Guests pass through 15 kilometers in a day! The program included: access to the mountain Shovel, walk on the Yalta Yaila, ridge Kizil-Kaya... the Crimean woods rich in autumn colors and flavors! In the first day, the group successfully stormed the highest point of Crimea – mount Roman-Kosh height of 1545 meters!

Andrey Berezin, guide of 7 summits Club from Nepal: 15 October, a group of travelers from the 7 Summits Club has arrived in Kathmandu. The aim of the trip is trekking in Manaslu base camp. Today, October 16th, all participants early in the morning boarded on jeeps and went to the route...

Members of our Club started in all kinds of programs and all reached the finish line. In fact, they coped with the task. Especially it should be noted Olga Rumyantseva and Christine Putintseva that ran the full program, having the entire four-day marathon - officially it was called a 4-day stage trail race (4-day mountain marathon) Crimea X Run
