News. Africa. Tanzania. Hello everyone! Our new expedition to Kilimanjaro has started, and with it the next series of Alexander Abramov's project "7 volcanoes in 77 days". Kilimanjaro should become the third summit in this project. Alex has already climbed Elbrus (Russia) and Damavand (Iran) and is now flying to Tanzania to catch up with the group. Guide Evgeny Fedyunin reports on the team's first day.
November 1st. Jambo Rafiki!
A new group from the 7 Summits Club, called "Chameleons", flew to the foot of Kilimanjaro today to trek and climb Uhuru Peak 5895m along the Marangu route! The day flew by in solving organizational issues, checking equipment and relaxing a little in the park of the Aishe Machame Hotel!
Three participants who arrived early managed to go on an excursion with a visit to a coffee plantation and the Materuni waterfall! In the evening, they watched the "Maasai show", an ethnographic performance of nomads living in Tanzania and Kenya.
Tomorrow we start on the route. Good luck to everyone!

The President of the 7 Summits Club, Alexander Abramov, moved the refuge today and will storm Elbrus tonight. This is the start of his (and our) project to set a record for the speed of completing the "Seven Volcanoes" program. We believe in our captain! In case of success, the countdown of the days of the "7 Volcanoes in 77 Days" project will begin tomorrow. The time will be counted from the moment of climbing the first of the seven volcanoes and the countdown will end as soon as the climber's foot rises to the seventh volcano. Weather and good luck, boss!
Alexander Abramov can be called the "godfather" of this program on a global scale. And who else but he should hold the record! It was the President of the 7 Summits Club who conceived, and our company carried out, the historic expedition to the Sidley volcano in 2011. Since the scientific discovery of this highest volcano in Antarctica, no one has been there. The 2011 ascent resulted in the first people to climb all seven volcanoes. These were our expedition members Mario Trimeri and Crina Popescu. And this was the real start of the Seven Volcanoes program. Russia, represented by our company, is the world leader in the number of climbers who have climbed all seven volcanoes of the project. At the moment, out of 46 who have completed the project, 14 represent our country. There is something to be proud of!

Hello everyone from Tanzania! Yesterday our large and very cheerful group gathered at the foot of Kilimanjaro. And this morning we began our journey to the summit.
At the very beginning of the walk, we came up with a name for the group - Anahata. "Anahata" is the heart chakra. We will open our hearts and receive joy (as much as possible) from this amazing journey.
Today we passed the first stage - through the jungle. We saw black and white colobus monkeys. In the first camp, where we reached today, all the participants were amazed at how comfortable it is.

But this unpleasantness has in no way tarnished our solemn, festive dinner of awards and congratulations!
There are new horizons ahead!
