 News from the Elbrus region. The 7 Summits Club "El Pupsy" group climbed to the National Park refuge, where we will continue acclimatization and preparation for the ascent of Elbrus. Today, in the area of the Refuge of Eleven, we conducted snow and ice training sessions, mastered self-arrest with an ice axe. The weather is excellent, as is the well-being and mood of the group. Tomorrow we are going to the Pastukhov Rocks.

News of the Elbrus region. The new group, called "El Pupsy", has begun preparations for the ascent of Elbrus. On the first day, we went to the slopes of Mount Cheget for acclimatization. The path goes along a picturesque forest path, which is replaced by no less beautiful alpine meadows. We went to the cafe "Ai", ate chebureks with khichins and appreciated the taste of wonderful mountain tea. Tomorrow we will climb to the refuge situated on Elbrus slopes, where we will continue to prepare for the ascent.

 3.09. Hello everyone! Today, the individual group of the 7 Summits Club "Marvel Agents" climbed the slopes of Elbrus to the Refuge of 11 at 4100m. There we held snow and ice training sessions, worked on the technique of self-arrest with an ice ax. The weather was great, everything went great. We had a snack at the refuge with our chef Zuli and went down to the hotel to rest.

Before dinner, already near the hotel, we mastered the basics of mountaineering techniques and worked on safety systems and moving on fixed ropes. Tomorrow there will be an acclimatization climb to the Pastukhov Rocks.

Hello everyone! Today, a new individual group of the 7 Summits Club, which came up with the name "Marvel Agents", began its program of climbing Elbrus. Traditionally, we climbed the slopes of Mount Cheget to the legendary cafe "Ai" at an altitude of 2750 meters. The weather was good for us, allowing us to go down to Lake Donguz Orun Köl. After lunch, we went to the rental for the missing equipment and are preparing for tomorrow's acclimatization on the slopes of Elbrus, with an ascent to 4100 m and training sessions.

Elbrus region news. Yesterday, August 30, the 7 Summits Club group "Brusnika" successfully climbed the Western peak of Elbrus. The weather was wonderful, sunny and windless. From the summit, there were beautiful views of the Greater Caucasus Range and far to the north. All participants walked well and felt good.

Hello everyone! Yesterday, August 30, the 7 Summits Club group "Otmorozhennye" (“Frozen”) successfully climbed the Western Elbrus summit 5642m! When leaving, the team was divided into two groups of four people: pedestrians and those who wanted technical support. The hikers set off for the summit from the shelter, without using a snowcat. Unfortunately, two of them, having miscalculated their strength, retreated. They decided that they would try to climb to the summit next time!

The remaining participants reached their cherished goal and then successfully descended! At the dinner, with national cuisine and Caucasian hospitality, an award ceremony was held and medals and certificates were presented for climbing the highest point of Europe!

Hello everyone, today our group climbed the summit of Elbrus 5642. The entire group without exception climbed to the highest point. It was not easy for everyone, but we got there! The weather was great, the trail was in good condition, so at 6:13 we were already at the top. On the way, we admired the beautiful views and enjoyed the windless Elbrus. This does not happen often!

Greetings from the Elbrus region. Today our supergroup "InOk" in full force climbed Mount Elbrus (5642 m). We walked at a good pace and in a great mood, so at 6 am we were already standing on the top and admiring the beautiful views of the mountains. We were lucky with the weather, the sun was shining and the visibility was excellent. Well done everyone! Ahead of us is a gala dinner with awards.

 News from the Elbrus region. The 7 Summits Club group "Brusnika" continues acclimatization and preparation for the ascent of Elbrus. Today we went to the Pastukhov Rocks. It was clear in the morning, and we enjoyed the views of the majestic Elbrus. And by the middle of the day the weather began to deteriorate - fog, light snow. We went to the Rocks in a solid fog. Tomorrow we have a rest day. We will restore our strength before the ascent.

08/27. Hello everyone! The 7 Summits Club group "Frosted" moved to the Refuge National Park at an altitude of 3900 m today. We settled in and went to the Refuge of Eleven at 4100 m. There we held snow-ice training. The weather today was wonderful, super, we worked out everything that was supposed to be done according to the plan.

After lunch, the group continued to master mountaineering techniques near the refuge. We worked out the safety systems and the scheme of movement on the fixed ropes. Tomorrow, according to the plan, we will go for high-altitude acclimatization to the Pastukhov Rocks, up to an altitude of 4700 m. 

The President of the 7 Summits Club Alex Abramov reports from the Elbrus region:

The Super Girls team of 9 people successfully climbed to the top of Elbrus. The ascent took place in bad weather conditions. We were lashed by wind and snowstorms, but we endured! All the girls proved themselves to be heroes. Each received maximum emotions and a charge for the future life. We felt stronger and more confident. Well done everyone!

News of the Elbrus region. The group of the 7 Summits Club called "Brusnika" began the active part of acclimatization and preparation for climbing Elbrus. It was raining this morning. Therefore, we had to postpone the start an hour later. We went, as usual, to the legendary cafe "Ai". Autumn in the Caucasus is coming into its own. It is damp and cool. We hope that the cyclone will go away in the coming days, and the weather will improve by the day of the ascent.

We also visited the rental shop today and took all the necessary equipment.

Tomorrow we will climb to the National Park refuge, where we will continue preparing for the ascent.

August 26. Hello everyone! Today, a new group of the 7 Summits Club, which took the name "Frozen", began preparing for the ascent of Elbrus. The participants climbed for acclimatization along the slopes of Mount Cheget to an altitude of 2750 meters, that is, to the famous "Ai" cafe. It was not hot today, there was a light rain from time to time. The group walked briskly.

After lunch, we went to the rental store for the missing equipment. Tomorrow we move to the high-mountain shelter National Park, we will spend the night at an altitude of 3900 meters and continue acclimatization.

Greetings from the slopes of Elbrus from the 7 Summits Club group "Mountain Ballet"! Our cheerful team successfully completed the program, climbing on the Western summit of Elbrus. We waited for the weather to improve, having cancelled the trip the day before due to a thunderstorm. We went well, without any big problems, although it was cold and windy. Everyone is alive and well, and that's the main thing! And they are returning home with diplomas, certificates and medals.

Dmitry Semenov, the 7 Summits Club guide, reports from the Elbrus region:
Today, our super group "Wagon Restaurant" has successfully climbed the highest peak of our vast Motherland and all of Europe, Mount Elbrus (5642m). We used a spare day, since the day before a thunderstorm prevented us from completing our attempt at the summit. The weather was not ideal today either, but we managed.

Five groups of the 7 Summits Club set off tonight with the goal of climbing Elbrus. However, during the ascent, the bad weather suddenly got worse. A strong thunderstorm began. Under these conditions, the Ministry of Emergency Situations workers issued an order to stop climbing and return to the shelter. In principle, no one objected much. Everyone understood that it was the right decision. So our teams got an extra day off. Let's hope that nature will be kinder to us next night.

Today, the SuperGirls team on Elbrus experienced a difficult night. But in the end, everything ended well. All the participants rested, slept, played. And this night we are planning to storm Elbrus again. The weather forecast is rather bad. But we will look for windows...

In the end, our Brazilians climbed Elbrus! Today was a long day, but we did it, we reached the top. The weather was not very friendly: wind, fog, sometimes snow fell. But we overcame ourselves and stubbornly went to our summit. Each of us overcame ourselves and reached the goal. By lunchtime, we descended to Terskol, rested and received well-deserved medals at a gala dinner. After that, we completely switched to rest and recovery after the climb.

Today, the SuperGirls team went up on a cable car, then on a snowcat to the Refuge National Park, an altitude of 3900 meters. All the girls were simply amazed by the living conditions. Complete comfort! The main activity today was rest, but we still managed to conduct classes on passing the fixed ropes. The weather is clear, but there is a strong wind. So we will fight tonight. The departure for the ascent is scheduled for 3 am.
