New Year greetings, from the slopes of Aconcagua!  Today our Mañana group is the third day on the route. We arrived at the base camp Plaza de Mulas (4300m.) Until today, Aconcagua seemed to me to be a very windy, dusty and hot mountain.  But today, on New Year's Eve, we had snow along the route, and in the base camp we were greeted by real winter. The group coped with the task perfectly. Tomorrow in the New Year we will have a day of rest. Special thanks to our Valerio, for the excellent tea that warmed us up and cheered us up. Happy New Year to everyone!!!  Happiness, success, health and a peaceful sky in the New Year!!! See you in the mountains!

Greetings from Peru from Alex Abramov and Lyudmila Korobeshko! And happy New Year!

Yesterday we climbed the summit of the Chachani volcano (6057m). We came to the Base Camp at 4900 in the midst of a snowstorm. But by 2 a.m. the snowfall stopped. At 3.40 we went out under the light of the southern constellations to storm and by 8 a.m. we climbed to the top of Chachani. The ascent is simple, it goes without ropes and without crampons. Similar to Ojos, but simpler. The peaks offer a view of the beautiful Chachani crater and the neighboring peaks – El Misti is very close and the active volcanoes Ampato and Sabankaya in the distance.

At noon we had already fed the foxes, looked at the herds of vikunias and flocks of wild mountain rabbits, and two hours later we rested in the spa of the hotel in Arequipa. So, a great route through Peru is ready. We're planning a group in May. Happy New Year to everyone once again! Peace, happiness and new adventures to all!

The 7 Summits Club Guide Artem Rostovtsev from Antarctica: Today, as planned, we moved to Low Camp.  At a good pace. The weather is amazing. Tomorrow we will go out on the Ropes, work up acclimatization and refresh the ability to move on fixed ropes. And then the New Year, with which congratulations to everyone! We will note that we will rest on January 1 (you can't work on a day off) and go to the assault camp. Happy New Year to everyone!

 The outgoing year 2022 has become a difficult test of strength for all of us. We can say that the 7 Summits Club withstood it with honor. Despite the objective difficulties, we have implemented all the planned plans. They did not give up our positions.

And we look to the future with optimism.

We will be cheerful, hardworking, we will be noble and patient, we will be freedom-loving and faithful, we will be beautiful and strong, kind and caring!

Today, the team of the 7 Summits Club "Four Brave" in full ascended the Сayambe volcano (5790 m). Now the participants have descended to the thermal springs in Papayaktu, are resting, preparing for the next ascent. Chimborazo is ahead!

Hello from Argentina! Our super group Mañana is the second day on the route. Today we made an acclimatization rotation towards the Plaza de Francia, reached an altitude of about 4000m. There we spent some time quite usefully and, having had lunch, began the descent down. On the way to the Confluencia camp, the mountains showed their character - we were caught in the snow with the wind. But now we are already in a cozy dining room, drinking tea.

News from Kilimanjaro. The guides of the 7 Summits Club, Evgeny Fedyunin and Sergey Avtomonov, report.  Jambo!  The group "Akuna Matata Rafiki" of the 7 Summits Club on December 28th met the morning on the border of equatorial forests and heather thickets at an altitude of 3000m. Everyone feels great! Through the clouds, we were greeted by the summit of Uhuru Peak 5895m, the highest point of Mount Kibo in the Kilimanjaro massif. The weather today is not particularly pampering, rain and drizzle all the way, moorland is justified (swampy area).  The team coped with all the tasks PERFECTLY!

We visited the caves of the Shira Plateau, where even before 2010 local teams of porters lived during the Kilimanjaro climbing programs! We are waiting for dinner, everyone is happy!

The 7 Summits Club Guide Artem Rostovtsev from Antarctica:

We flew to Antarctica.  It's windy and cold at the Union Glacier base. The wind means there are no clouds and you can fly to Vinson's base camp. Which is what happened. Now there is a record number of participants going up the mountain, it took 9 flight flights to transfer everyone.

To the base camp for 8 people in the plane, count for yourself. We promptly set up camp and had dinner, the rest of the expedition envied. Now we are already sleeping, resting. Tomorrow we want to move to Low camp.

Greeting from Argentina!  Our group chose the name Mañana (tomorrow), this word is very popular in Argentina. Today our friendly team walked the first kilometers of the way to our goal, the Aconcagua peak (6962 m).  The group proved to be a friendly, reliable team that will cope with all the difficulties on the route.

We are taking off! Everyone is on board the plane and we are already starting to take off. We will be in Antarctica in 4 hours. And it looks like there will be an opportunity to fly to Vinson's base camp right away.

An expedition on Mount Vinson. We are in standby mode and hope for tomorrow morning's departure to the Union Glacier. The luggage has been handed over and is already loaded on the plane. Literally, we have just been informed that the captain of the aircraft has made the final decision about the flight. We're flying early in the morning. And if the weather in Antarctica allows, we will be immediately transferred to the Vinson Massif base camp. In the meantime, we are enjoying the last evening in civilization before tomorrow's flight to Antarctica.  Almost everyone is exciting.

Well, our small but friendly team has gathered in the wonderful city of Mindosa and is ready for further adventures. We have already tried the famous steaks and malbec, the equipment has been checked, the little things have been bought. Today we will start in Pinitentes, this is the first camp on our way to the summit of Aconcagua.

Chile says hello! We have started another expedition to the Vinson massif in Antarctica. Today, all the participants finally gathered at our starting point of the route - the city of Punta Arenas. From here, the plane will take us to Antarctica. The main equipment is already on the white continent. We are preparing for departure, we hope everything will happen without delay. We start the day after tomorrow. In the meantime, the last preparations: purchases, packing of cargo and excursions in free time. Those who arrived a little earlier were able to admire the beauty of the Torres del Paine National Park. Today we have plunged into the history of the discovery of the Strait of Magellan and the first explorers of Patagonia. We are waiting for the departure, and we keep our fingers crossed for good weather. Antarctica is waiting. And in parallel with us, Alex Honold will go to Vinson, did everyone watch Jimmy Chin's movie "FreeSolo"?

Hello everyone from the slopes of Kilimanjaro! Today we left the hotel and finally got to the national park! Got a little wet in the rain while walking through the beautiful rainforest! We went up to the first tent camp, had a delicious meal and rest! The guides Evgeny Fedyunin and Sergey Avtomonov were with you.

Director of the 7 Summits Club Lyudmila Korobeshko reports from Peru:

Greetings from Peru from Alexander Abramov and Lyudmila Korobeshko! Our exploration of the new program in Southern Peru continues! Yesterday we climbed a five-thousand-meter peak near Ausangate, not far from the Rainbow Mountains.  The area is beautiful - there are a lot of colorful lakes along the way (there are “7 Lakes trek” here, but in reality there are much more lakes), sharp snow-capped summits rise around.

The peak of Maria  with a height of 5500 is a simple to climb, but very beautiful. From the camp at 4500, the first 2-3 hours are a simple but extremely picturesque trek, then another 1.5-2 hours with crampons on a glacier with closed crevasses and the last pre-summit steep snow-ice slope. You go out on the top carefully (there are overhanging cornices) and are stunned by the beauty that opens up!

A couple of hours down - and you are greeted with lunch (in Peru, good service in the mountains - and tents are set up and a whole dining room is organized even for a small group), a couple more hours past the most beautiful lakes down - and you jump into hot springs, soak and restore muscles tired after a hike with a view of grazing alpacas and snow-white summits.

For the future, we decided that join a trekking in the Rainbow Mountains + a piece of trek around Ausangate + climbing Maria Peak with a descent to hot springs. It will be a super program!

Bon Dias! The “Coca-Cola 2×5” group climbed on the highest point of South America Aconcagua on December 25. Catholic Christmas turned out to be snowy, in the second half it started snowing. But at that moment we were already on the descent from the top. Tomorrow we have a transfer to Horcones, from where we move to hot Mendoza. The guides of the group are Andrey Berezin and Viktor Volodin.

Evgeny Fedyunin, the guide of the 7 Summits Club, reports from Tanzania:

The group of the 7 Summits Club continues to arrive in the city of Moshi, at the foot of Kilimanjaro. While we are solving organizational issues and are engaged in equipment rental.  Tomorrow the group will start on the Machame route, or as it is called here "Whiskey route" - not cola at all! Climbing through jungles, equatorial forests up to 3,000m is the task of the first running day! Pole pole or ".. but there is no need to hurry.."

Greetings from Peru from Alexander Abramov and Lyudmila Korobeshko!  We want to tell you how we spent an unforgettable night on the wall at the Sky Lodge Hotel in the Sacred Valley in Peru, near Machu Picchu. We got to the beginning of the route around 17.00. The way to our hotel room on the wall ran along Via Ferrate (staples in the form of stairs and cables). We were given harnesses, helmets, gloves and we ran, as we wanted to get to our hotel before dark. Usually it takes 1.5-2 hours. Although we are accustomed to via Ferrata (in the Crimea and the Alps), we still often stopped to capture each other and the gorgeous views - the Sacred Valley of the Incas, leading to Machu Picchu, spread out below us. The way up is not difficult, but there are overhangs and an interesting place like the Tyrolean traverse (as on Carstensz).

By six in the evening, with sunset, we reached the hotel itself - several capsules on platforms attached to the wall. It turned out that we are the only guests of this hotel. The rest refused or could not come because of the recent political unrest in Peru.

The sleeping room is chic - transparent walls with 360 views, soft beds. There's even a toilet. But to get into the capsule-dining room, every time you need to put on helmets and climb the via Ferrata.

Christmas was celebrated with a wonderful dinner from a Swiss chef. Dinner is prepared in advance, it is warmed up on the wall and beautifully decorated before serving. And also with a bottle of Peruvian red and to the sounds of fireworks from local towns.

In the morning, we whistled merrily down six ziplines, where a bus was already waiting for us, taking us to new adventures. We plan to make a super program in Peru in the near future with Rainbow Mountains, an overnight stay on the wall, beautiful simple ascents to the 5th and 6th thousandths, possibly with the addition of Machu Picchu. Everything is nearby. And everything is so interesting!

 Greetings from the island of Tierra del Fuego! Our sudden exploration of these areas for future programs is coming to an end. We have already managed to drive more than 2000 km, all roads to the end. To go and run for a hundred kilometers, it's a pity we didn't take a kayak, more locations would be available. Undeterred animals and birds, beautiful untouched views around: mountains, forests, lakes, islands, straits – there was everything. There are plans to get to higher mountains covered with glaciers.
