 News from the Elbrus region. The 7 Summits Club group "Brusnika" continues acclimatization and preparation for the ascent of Elbrus. Today we went to the Pastukhov Rocks. It was clear in the morning, and we enjoyed the views of the majestic Elbrus. And by the middle of the day the weather began to deteriorate - fog, light snow. We went to the Rocks in a solid fog. Tomorrow we have a rest day. We will restore our strength before the ascent.

We have already written that during this route the group members climbed the eight-thousander Gasherbrum-II, which in itself is a world-class achievement. Hello to everyone from "Ripe Peaches"! Today we had a day of impromptu. After a late breakfast, we decided to get closer to Iranian culture by visiting some of the sights. We made many new discoveries about how huge Tehran is, how friendly the locals are to tourists, and about the political and economic relations with other countries...

In the evening, we all gathered for a gala dinner in one of the best restaurants in Tehran with a stunning view. There, we presented awards and medals to our champions. We shared our impressions of the past trip and even made joint plans for the future!
