According to the 7 Summits Club President Alexander Abramov, the reason for the postponement is quite simple: there's not enough time to prepare. There's no specifics yet on what this means. The expedition has been postponed until 2027, and the 7 Summits Club and the 8000 Club will make this event a key part of their plans. The team has already been assembled, and we hope that all the participants who have signed up will maintain their characteristic enthusiasm and optimism throughout the year. We will train and prepare diligently.

Greetings from sunny Argentina, from the "Malbec" group! Today, our plan was to acclimatize towards Plaza France. We successfully reached 4,000 meters, and after a good rest and a light snack, we returned to our welcoming Confluencia camp. Tomorrow, we leave this camp and ascend to our main base camp at a new altitude of 4,300 meters. We'll be at Plaza de Mulas, where our altitude acclimatization will take place and where our trek to the summit will begin. Dmitry Semenov and Georgy Bushuev are the group guides.

January 19th. Greetings from the summit camp on Cotopaxi (Ecuador) from the "EG-Masters" group!

This morning, we had a photo shoot with animals against the backdrop of Cotopaxi. We were lucky enough to capture llamas, alpacas, wild horses, and eagles against the backdrop of our mountain. After lunch, we ascended to the Jose Ribas refuge at 4,850 meters. Now we're having dinner and getting ready for a short nap. We'll be up at 11:00 PM for the midnight summit push! Wish us luck!

The 7 Summits Club super guide Artem Rostovtsev reports from Antarctica:

Greetings from the slopes of Sidley! Yes, that's right. Yesterday, we airlifted to Sidley Base Camp and then walked to the assault camp. It was cloudy along the flight route. On the mountain, poor visibility made navigation difficult, along with strong winds. We arrived, dug in, rested, slept, and are now hoping for good weather before heading to the summit.
